Saiyan • 27• Male•

Lottus is representative of the most basic, stereotypical view of what a Saiyan is. Violent and highly volatile, Lottus has a propensity towards torment and fully revels in the destruction and death of his opponents. Lottus, by Saiyan standards, is regarded as mentally unhinged. His violent behavior is not specific to his enemies, but often his own allies can find themselves on the receiving end of Lottus' volatility.
However, those who know Lottus more intimately, and those can be counted on one hand, they know that Lottus has not always been that way. A decade past, Lottus was a career soldier, and while he enjoyed battle, did not show the same zealousness for outright violence, and never attacked his allies. However, when a mission led to the discovery of treachery, Lottus was exposed to Destron.
At first, Lottus' throat was ravaged, and the damage permanently harmed his voice, making a once calm baritone become a harsh rasp. The first signs of his mind degrading came some weeks after the prior mission went wrong. Eventually, Lottus developed a disgust towards his fellow soldiers, accusing them of having no spirit or desire to become more, to stand higher than their lot in life.
Lottus' mind continued to degrade, and he abandoned his posting, fleeing to the ruined metropolis that stands between the Tuffle and Saiyan holdings. And for five years, further exposed to trace amounts of Destron, Lottus began to succumb to his growing mania. Now, Lottus is seen as a madman by his peers, and a murderous monster to his foes.
However, the old Lottus sometimes manifests; often in the form of being confused. Hints of his old self can pop up randomly, and last only moments before the mania gripping his mind retakes its hold. Whether or not Lottus can be cured of his ailment is yet to be seen. But there is a limit to how long his mental degradation can continue before it becomes irreversibly permanent.

Tech Slot: 110,000
Heavy Defense Technique || Saiyan Defiance

Tech Slot: 120,000
Support Technique || Better Luck Next Time
Lottus releases a blinding flash of light, replicating the sun's rays. This allows you to attempt to escape any thread or travel between splits in an Action Thread more safely. This technique valued at 60% of your total power and requires 2 KP to use. In order to stop you, a player must use an attack that is superior in power to your Solar Flare. You cannot undo your escape via Solar Flare if you are successful, but you can use KP to defend if it is overcome
Power: 60%
Cost: 2 KP
Support Technique || Wrathful Might
You may activate Wrathful Might at the very start of your post, increasing the power of all of your techniques by +10% while active. This will drain Momentum at a cost of -1 MP per post and prevents you from gaining MP naturally, using evasive or escape techs, blocking escapes, and intercepting attacks meant for others. You can only turn it off at the end of a post, at the end your second post after activation at the earliest. You will still consume MP and not regain any MP on the post you turned it off on. If you run out of MP, you lose Wrathful Might's effects at the end of your post and cannot gain any MP on your next turn.
Tech Slot: 40,000
Support Technique || Wrathful Phantom
Lottus' sheer will and malevolent energies manifest as a separate entity, wreathed in crimson and red in Lottus' silhouette. It cannot speak, and only two glowing yellow eyes are visible within the dark visage.
Lottus splits into two copies, dividing his power evenly between himself and a single copy (50% each). The Phantom operates as its own fighter - it manages KP, MP, and use techniques as if they were two separate people! They can merge back together after responding defensively to any attacks your foe may have thrown, but take the damage from the most damaged copy and take KP and MP from the copies with the least in each stat. One-use techniques, items, or traits can only be used once per thread regardless of which copy uses the technique.
Tech Slot: 130,000
Utility Technique || Flight
Description: By some means, usually through a skillful application of your ki, you are able to fly through the air.
Utility Technique || Ki Sensing
Description: A technique that allows you to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
Utility Technique || Controlled Malice
Description: Lottus has learned to control his Wrathful State to a large degree. While not as "bulky" as normal, Lottus stands at an imposing 7'5", rather than the full powered bulk that puts him at over 8' in height while active, and his coal black eyes now glint with a blood red coloration. Lottus' contained fury can be felt as if the malice were a physical presence.
Tech Slot: None
Items Used: 'Ki for Dummies' Guidebook #6
Utility Technique || Wrathful Aura
Description: When Wrathful State (transformation), Transformation, or technique utilizing the word Wrath/Wrathful in the name is active, Lottus focuses the corrupting power onto his foe, trying to frenzy them with the same bloodlust that he experiences trying to control or make them go berserk with rage.
Requirements: First and foremost, this ability affects other players' characters negatively - therefore, in order for them to be afflicted with Berserk the player being affected must give express permission that their character can be affected. Secondly, Lottus can only use Wrathful Aura when using a transformation that includes Wrathful in the name. And thirdly, the ONLY way Wrathful Aura can affect a target is through physical contact. Melee attacks made by Lottus, and against Lottus only. Ki Blast techniques (that do not involve physically touching Lottus) are not subject to the Wrathful Aura's effect.
Enemy characters cannot be afflicted with Berserk more that two times per thread. Players determine for themselves how long the effects of Berserk apply to their character(s).
Tech Slot: No Tech Slot used
Items Used: ‘Ki for Dummies’ Guidebook #1
Utility Technique || Saiyan Heritage
Description: Due to the presence of his tail, Lottus can transform into the Oozaru when exposed to Power Ball, or other forms of Blutz Wave inducing techniques. Ironically, Lottus is in full control when transformed.
Tech Slot: None
Items Used: Ki for "Dummies" Guidebook #2
Utility Technique || Horrifying Countenance
Description: When Lottus utilizes his Wrathful State, other Transformation, or technique utilizing the word Wrath/Wrathful in the name is active, Lottus' terrifying aura gives the impression of almost twice the power he truly possesses, making him appear far more dangerous and intimidating to behold.
Note: Lottus' PL does NOT actually change - it tricks Ki Sensing users into feeling vastly more power than is actually there. Scouter users are unaffected, as this ability is a sensation, not a true power boost. Additionally, skillful, or much more powerful enemies cannot be tricked by this ability.
Tech Slot: None
Items Used: Ki for "Dummies" Guidebook #3
Utility Technique || Blades of Wrath
Description: After numerous bouts against warriors wielding various forms of blades, swords, and weapons, Lottus has taken his Ki Blade technique to the next reasonable phase - utilizing his Ki, Lottus can now use his Ki Blade to a lesser powered degree to combat against bladed weapons! He can use this technique with both hands, or one at a time.
Tech Slot: None
Items Used: Ki for Dummies #4
Utility Technique || Power Ball - Blood Moon
Description: Lottus creates an artificial moon from Ki! This allows him and any other Saiyans with tails present to transform into their Oozaru form! Unlike the typical Power Ball that gives off a white, silvery glow - Power Ball - Blood Moon bathes the battlefield in a dark crimson glow.

Rucola
Saiyan • 24• Female•

Rucola is a raucous, battle-happy fighter that completed her military training shortly before final battle of the war, where Taori finally defeated the Tuffles and brought an end to the war. Because Rucola is not particularly powerful, she was relegated to duties in the Vegeta Region. Duties that Rucola believed to be beneath her, like border patrols, Saiba clearing, and regional guard postings at fairly unimportant locations.
Her most recent assignment came down from the likes of Vocado - keeping Saiyan patrols in or nearby Hatchi after the first assault on Hatchi by offworld pirates, spearheaded by a Heran named Fukushu, and a Saiyan deserter called Lottus. Not much was known about the attack, and Rucola didn't bother asking. However, Rucola was present in Hatchi when the sky grew unnaturally dark, and somehow cracked open - and Lottus came back from death.
Rucola was called to aid in the evacuation of Hatchi - but she had laid eyes on what she had initially deemed to be lies by the Nobility and Crown; a Super Saiyan. For Rucola, the golden glow was mesmerizing, and she defied orders to watch the battle that raged in Hatchi between the returned Lottus and his allies, and the King and his army and allies.
She was eventually forced to leave and return to Sadala, to help with emergency preparations. But a star had been struck within Rucola - she desired to meet the Super Saiyan that dared to defy a Kingdom...
