Starlit Savages - [Carnage/Split]

Salvo cascaded after Verst with a trail of crimson energy left in her wake, speeding through the buildings of the city until she came to a sudden halt just a few dozen meters away from the main event - that being Lottus versus the Tuffle who had been stupid enough to use Destron on him. Salvo was no history buff of Plant, but even she was well aware of the meaning of that gaseous chemical. So... She'd just be staying out of that one! The real prize here was the Arcosian who had acted in defiance before her not once, not twice, but thrice now! That couldn't be allowed to stand.

"Oi! You!" she called out once she finally laid her red eyes upon the lizard. A gloved finger was thrust out in his direction as Salvo's orange brows furrowed on her cyan forehead, her crimson lips pulling back to reveal a white, jagged snarl. "I ain't done witcha yet! Wot do ye think yer playin' at, runnin' away from me?"

Oh, and look, he was trying to play mediator between the bloodlusted monkey and the war criminal. How cute. In Salvo's opinion, the only thing Verst had managed to do was waste some of his ki on an opponent who'd be able to fire back and immediately kill him without even needing to flex his muscles. "Why don'tcha git away from the main event and enjoy the sideshow, aye?!" Salvo declared as she flew in towards Verst with a massive burst of speed as she attempted to tackle him out of the air and into the ground.

The lunge would quickly be followed up by a powerful punch from her fist, and then, finally, Verst would find two hands clamp themselves on either side of his head as he was suddenly and forcefully yanked into a vicious, skull-splitting headbutt!

Sounded like there was an awful lot of drama going on over there! Too bad Salvo was too distracted with absolute domination over here to pay any real attention to it! Her headbutt smashed against Verst's skull, no doubt causing him to see stars, shortly before he was launched down and cratered into the planet itself, with Salvo bringing her own momentum to a halt just before she'd have also crashed into the ground. Her forehead now bore a dark blue bruise, though it was covered up by her bright orange bangs enough for it to not be terribly visible - and she was still reeling off the battle high to feel any pain.

"Gahaha! Ye look ridiculous!" she gloated over the Arcosian as he took a moment to recover from her onslaught. She briefly registered that Striker had, a few moments earlier, warned her about something Jinx had said, but then dismissed the thought. Sometimes it was just better to ask forgiveness than permission. Or in Salvo's case, she usually just killed or maimed anyone who objected to whatever she did! Though from Jinx, she supposed she'd have to shrug and say, 'my bad,' at the very least. Wouldn't be a big deal, either way.

Finally, Verst declared to Salvo he'd be giving her the fight she had 'deserved' back on Namek, and at this, her grin only grew wider, her pumping heart only beat faster. Their brief duel on Namek had been disappointing, to say the least. But he had clearly grown in strength since. "Let's see ye put yer money where yer mouth is at!" 

He seemed keen to show he wasn't just all talk, too, as just a moment later, Verst burst back up at Salvo, unleashing a flurry of strikes with his fists, feet and tail all at once. It was quite a bit to juggle, but Salvo had her experience exchanging blows like this. And, in that experience, she had learned the best way to break through was to just use overwhelming and decisive force!

Salvo unleashed a wave of ki towards Verst to first knock him off balance and put a small bit of distance between the two of them, and then spread her arms wide before slamming her hands together in a powerful clap that exploded with force! The power of the shockwave coming from her hands ripped through the air towards Verst and threatened to tear him to shreds once it hit!
