Lottus stands at the edge of a cliff, high upon the Ashen Mountains. Far below, a swirling mass of black clouds spins lazily as the Saiyan gazes down upon them. At last, he had found a Demon King soon after his interaction with the Demon Prince, Erebos. This place was one of several portals that the Demon Kings used for their own passage between Hell and the Demon Realm.
Theoretically, the portal would connect the one who opens it with the world from which they belonged to. For the Demons, that was the Demon Realm. For Lottus... well, that's what they would find out. If it failed, and Erebos was correct, then Lottus' soul would be obliterated.
And the thought of having his soul obliterated as the consequence for failing to break through to the Living Realm was a challenge Lottus was excited to pursue. But he had an ally in this, one that he hoped would be sufficient enough to break through, if additional power was indeed needed. If his heart still existed, the anticipation would likely have it hammering in his chest.
"...Right... Let's do this..." Lottus mutters to himself, a grin spreading on his features. A golden aura bursts around the Saiyan, bathing the mountains in a bright light! The Saiyan flies down from the clifftops, and hovers just over the swirling pit of clouds a quarter mile wide in diameter.
Black, clawing whisps of what resemble hands, reaching their foggy talons up towards Lottus as he hovers; but Lottus digs deep into the wells of his power, and throws his head back in an animalistic roar as his aura explodes! The flame-like golden aura erupts skywards, and then, inexplicably, arcs and gets sucked into the center of the swirling clouds!
As Lottus lets his energies rage like a wild blaze, the lazily churning clouds begin to swirl faster, and faster, until the black clouds become like a whirlpool!
The skies of Hatchi are clear, with only a few thin clouds dotting the pinkish-red sky. A mile high from the ground, a spark. And another, this one larger. Another, and more! Crackling bolts of lightning begin to arc across the sky, and its color bleeds from near red, to a sickly green color. Tuffles, aliens, and even some Saiyans visiting the city begin to take notice of the strange phenomena, gazing skyward.
Appearing as though forming from nothing, blackish green clouds, almost sickening in color, seem to simply come into existence, churning and whirling, as though a tornado was about to form right in the middle of the city! The unusual clouds spread far and wide, almost reaching as far as the Destron Crags in the distance beyond the mountains! At the center of the swirling clouds, a black pinpoint begins to widen. As it does, the lightning intensifies, but never reaching down upon the city far below. Soon, the pinpoint spreads wide, becoming a vast hole blacker that the depths of space, as though no light could possibly penetrate its darkness.
A figure, translucent but humanoid in shape, begins to descend through the lightless hole, and as it does, the form begins to solidify. Now and then, something seems to pull back against the form, as though the swirling clouds were trying to reclaim its prize possession. But a rasping howling begins to echo down as it presses against the barrier of lightning. Something shatters, like a glass window between the swirling clouds and the sky above Hatchi.
The form finally fully takes a hardened visage, a pale-skinned Saiyan with knee length wild golden hair, malicious cerulean eyes, and a whipping black tail. Wearing the black and blue outfit created for him by the Shinjin, Ward, Lottus breaks through the barrier between swirling void and the sky of the Living Realm! As the shattering occurs, the cracks spread across the sky like a horrifying spider web, and the lands below the terrible clouds shudder and quake as the unnatural thing above protests against its loss.
Lottus floats at first, gazing down at the city he had died attacking, even as green lightning snaps past and above. More souls, likely those desperate to escape as well, also attempt to hurtle through, only to be grasped at and yanked back by the wispy clawing hands. Some of those hands reached again for Lottus, but the Saiyan blasts them away with a powerful Kiai! Whether followed by his ally or not, the clouds soon begin to dissipate, and the sky returns to its natural pinkish-red color, and the glass-like cracks seem to mend. The spiraling storm above disappears, as suddenly as it had appeared.
Lottus grins hungrily at the city below.
"I'm back." Lottus snarls. He throws his head back in a triumphant bellow, his golden aura expanding! Below, what sounds like a thunderclap soon follows, and the peaceful breeze becomes a terrible gale for but a few moments.
Lottus drops through the sky, contemplating whether or not to destroy the city right then and there. Instead, Lottus lands atop the government building at the center of the city. Within moments, a small news affiliated ball android hurtles up to Lottus, recording him from what its processors thought to be a safe distance. Lottus smiles maliciously at the camera android.
"Hatchi City is under new management. Let the entire planet know - Lottus has returned!" the Saiyan cackles, and then sends a Ki ball crashing into the news android, destroying it in a flash of light.
