ONI • 200 • DEMIGIRL • FORMER DRAGON • CURRENT MENDICANT
The warring kingdoms of the Demon Realm fostered a very specific sort. Cutthroat wielders of might and magic fighting for dominance over others of their kind. Imugi was no different, the only thing they could claim as a deviation was love for their kin. Strong they may have been, but when their clan was torn asunder by the very kingdom they served, it meant little. Escaping with their life but none of their strength, pained by the loss of an eye, arm and leg, Imugi's fate is uncertain. Taking up the deservedly dead art of the Sword Law, all that can be said for certain is that they are done with masters and kings.
IMUGI AND THE SWORD LAW
The Sword Law is an ancient martial art practiced by a fringe group of Konatsian swordsmen. According to what sparse scripture has been left behind, practitioners are able to achieve great power through singular, obsessive study and practice of the sword. Cultivation of the body and spirit is to be ignored, by the belief that they will manage to keep up just enough to wield the blade. Imugi notes this as, in both concept and application, stupid.
The Sword Law has five chapters through which students progress. Though its techniques carry mundane names, they are always practiced with an exertion of energy separating them from ordinary maneuvers. Chapter One and Two detail the most basic stances and methods by which one wields the sword. Chapter Three begins bridging the gap from ordinary swordplay to exceptional acts of strength and skill. Chapter Four and Five teach increasingly esoteric techniques, things that a sword should plainly not be able to do regardless of one's experience or finesse.
Although their injury has weakened them beyond recovery, Imugi retains a small degree of their previous magic and power over the elements. They also hold fond memories of their equally demonic siblings, perhaps enough to educate in their ways.Dark Bargain • Otherworld Training • Demonic MightAntisense • Ambidextrous

Support || Sword Law Chapter One: Honed Edge (MAX Power, Otherworld Training)
Focusing on the blade, Imugi draws an excess of power from it to sharpen their movements. Max Power is activated as the first action on their post. While active, it increases the power of all their techniques by +10% and drains 1 MP per post at the start of each turn. They cannot gain MP unless a trait generates it. They cannot use Evasive or Escape techniques, nor can they block escapes or defend others while active. Activating Max Power requires them to have at least 1 MP regardless of traits. Max Power can be deactivated, but only as the last action on a post AND at the end of their second post after activation at the earliest. If they hit zero MP while in Max Power, the effects immediately end and they are inflicted with the Winded status effect.
Light Sparking Attack || Sword Law Chapter Two: Riposte
By parrying a blow and leaning into the foe, deal a fast but scathing thrust.
Power: 50

Equilibrium
Imugi has learned to project an invisible magic field around themself, allowing them to not only fly through the air, but move with similar faculty to when they possessed all of their limbs.
Dragon Aura
With a fraction of their former abilities, Imugi can exert influence over water and weather in their immediate surroundings.
Demon Contracts (Ki for Dummies Guidebook #1)
Through their innate connection to the otherworldly, Imugi can call on energy, denizens, and artifacts of the Demon Realm to do their bidding. Though usually at a cost. This allows them to flavour items as the summoning of such things to achieve the same effect.
Malice (Ki for Dummies Guidebook #2)
Imugi is a vicious, hostile demon and makes no effort to behave otherwise in combat, capable of severe violence even at their worst. When entering their highest available form, they can suppress its power to match that of their base power level or any lower form. This is to avail the use of Demonic Might without upsetting the difference in power between Imugi and an opponent by transforming.
Ethereality (Ki for Dummies Guidebook #3)
The recent worsening of their injuries as caused by the (former) Blue Nova has made it hard to claim Imugi as specifically alive or dead. In addition to their absence of life energy and ability to slip in and out of Otherworld, Imugi has gained a particular resonance with the souls of the dead, able to empathically glean how one died or learn of the deaths someone has been responsible for, provided OOC consent.TRANSFORMATIONSChapter One (x5): Exhibiting practical mastery of the Sword Law's first chapter, Imugi draws power from their skill, reinforcing their feeble body and sharpening their movements. If disarmed or otherwise caught without a sword, they cannot enter such a state.
