ALIASES: Forgone Dragon
AGE: 199
GENDER: Demigirl (they/them)
SPECIES: Oni
> Life Leech: When you have dealt 60%/80%/150% Cumulative damage to an enemy, upon the enemy being KO'd/wounded/killed in the same split/thread, you regain 1(60%)/2(80%)/3(150%) KP & MP.
> Otherworld Training: You may use multiple Offensive techniques in a single post, to a maximum of three. This is usable twice per thread, and will only work with Standard Techniques. However, you may not use any Power or Ki Boosts on defensive techniques with your MP in your strongest available form.
GENERAL TRAITS: Tactician, Restrained Might
STARTING PLANET: Konats
HOME REGION: Sahra Expanse, Konats
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Standing at a meagre 5’5”, Imugi is a plum-skinned demon bearing a feminine humanoid form, barring slightly exaggerated features like pointed ears and fangs. They have an emaciated build unbecoming of the strength they command and have long since lost their right leg, arm and eye. Their cream hair falls in slight curls down to the neck, and is usually tied up in a bun at the nape.
Their state of dress paints a picture of squalor, clad in worn orange and beige fabrics. They cover their missing arm and eye in black, a long cloak and three-point eyepatch respectively. On their left arm they have a full sleeve tattoo depicting a scale mail pattern in dark ink. An unremarkable sword hangs from their left hip in its sheath for ease of use.
BACKGROUND: Violence is the nature of the Demon Realm. It has seeped into everything with the gall to live there, and Imugi was never one to believe otherwise. From the moment they spawned, they and the rest of their clan understood that they were destined for wicked deeds written in blood. Imugi knew their mother and father, but the clan did not place importance on such things. All of them were siblings, they laughed together, fought each other, lifted them up and stabbed one another in the back, in the very simple pursuit to be the greatest in the realm.
For all the value placed on power, obviously someone would come to recognize theirs. While fledgeling kingdoms clawed at each other, scraping what territory they could from another, Basillus propositioned Imugi’s clan to fight on their behalf. The war was looking favourable for their benefactors, and so they accepted. Imugi at the time was a hellish force among their peers, a draconic demon with an overwhelming command of the natural elements. Though they did not alienate themself and considered their clansmen an eternal boon to their own strength.
Imugi fought tooth and nail for Basillus, all of them did. Comprising only a small portion of the forces, but always impactful and proud of their work. Imugi and their siblings spoke often of the lives they’d live when they were victorious, who would have the largest castles, the finest feasts, and the greatest strength backing their status. As the war began to wind down, their kingdom’s power cemented, they would be suddenly informed that their promised reward would never come.
Betrayed by Basillus’ warriors greater than themselves, Imugi’s clan was rapidly wiped out. Such is the way of demons, yet Imugi has never forgotten their rage. Beaten within an inch of their life, Imugi escaped to the mortal realm, the husk of a once mighty dragon now forced to hide while their wounds healed oh so slowly. Now fighting only their own sorrow and pain, they happened to come to rest on Konats. Yet another detestable kingdom, they wished to see it fall if only to imagine it was Basillus in its place, but had no resolve or power to carry it out themself.
Spending some time absorbing the local culture, a ghost among talented artisans, Imugi would eventually come across something fascinating. A scripture known as the Sword Law, written by Konatsian outcasts long ago. In its passages it detailed impossible feats of swordsmanship, lunacy on every page, rightfully forgotten by time. Imugi would have once scoffed at the very concept, but they missed dearly the strength they once held that they would never hold again. With absolutely nothing left to lose, they acknowledged themself a fool and purchased a sword. And just so did a fire reignite within them.
