The Black Day [CARNAGE]

It felt good.

It felt so good to connect that hook straight into her face, but strangely it did not feel like it was out of justice or revenge either apparently. Usually the reason Nasu would feel anything from a fight would be one of those two things, he felt something different instead, something that was definitely a lot more… primitive, somewhere deep in his heart that burned. It felt almost akin to passion, perhaps. However he could not be so sure what his flames were burning for either, it was not out of control and yet the reason they yet consumed the air around him was unknown to him.

Of course she would not stay shut for him to go about striking her back when instead those strange flames of hers spread across the spiritual body of the dragon that had been choking her, when she did so, similar effects were witnessed across him when his arm closed tightly and he shook it away, but even when he did so or tried to use further ki to dismiss the licks away, they did not disappear if not perhaps they enhanced themselves.

Nasu stayed still, of course it was hard to concentrate while burning but even then he suppressed his laments away for a moment and tried a different approach: he stopped his energy output, to the point where his own flames died out, and given there was nothing left to consume when suppressed, the flames would also have disappeared, before he skyrocketed back to his Super Saiyan form with a thunderous roar.

“Nice one. It gets old after the first time, but I will have to try and learn something like that.”

Left somewhat breathless from the earlier pain, his arm still fumed and scorched too. His skin felt very tight there, but also his ki was left tingling him at the corners now. He looked a lot more talkative too, now that he had returned to the golden state of power. The man stared daggers at Tsuya, however.

“So, what is your background check? Are you just evil for the sake of being evil or did they abandon you, kill everyone you love or something like that? As far as I am concerned you have no reason to desire this city under Lottus’ command.”

Of course it was only a gamble but there was something that struck him quite clearly. She could not be sensed, had magical powers of a dubious nature and then there were several things. To begin with, every single one of them he had ever met, except maybe one but she was a halfling, had white hair. Even that inner entity of his had white hair, for crying out loud. Not to mention the way she came across was oddly similar to Her, if not she was perhaps less passionate about it.

“After all, you should be in the Otherworld yourself. Did you help bust him out?”

Having had to deal with demons constantly the past few years, he had a pretty good feeling about it that she was something like that herself. Even after his Afterlife trip, he cleared plenty of questions but understood way less about just how much more varied their entities were that it was difficult to just categorize them as ‘demons’.
