SAIYAN PRIDE

When you have sustained 100% or more damage, you gain a +10% boost to all techniques, but you may not boost techniques with momentum. Healing to the point where you have less than 100% damage sustained deactivates this bonus.

BURNING KI

Once per thread, you may spend momentum in increments of 2 to regain KP at a cost of 2 MP to 1 KP.

ZENKAI

Upon being damaged 150% or more in one thread, gain a +10% bonus to thread completion. If you heal from 150% or more, you may gain that completion bonus up until that point mid-thread, for immediate application to your PL. Only usable in Action Threads, and only occurs once a thread

RAW TALENT

Twice per thread, when using a Non-Heavy Standard technique, you may gain an additional 1 MP.

TENACIOUS

Once per thread, a Non-Heavy Standard technique you use during combat costs -1 KP. This cannot make it cost 0 KP. It cannot have its power boosted in any way.

BACKGROUND:

Edamame was born to a high ranking family, his father an experienced officer within the Saiyan army, his brothers and uncles being prominent and promising members as well. Their family lived well from spoils of conquest and battle, the family did not want. Edamame’s father knew the danger of comfort and so he often tested his sons, the family itself became violent and unforgiving.

The young Saiyan excelled in all aspects of training as well as military strategy. With his father and brothers having some standing within the military Edamame was often exposed to the stories and critical decisions made on the field of battle as he grew. When Edamame came of age he was thrust into the ranks of the military and quickly climbed to the top of his class. The young Saiyan was proud of his potential to rise through the ranks, he was bred for this and he accepted it.

Edamame’s oldest brother Crispum was his idol and mentor. Crispum was often the black sheep of the family but he and the youngest brother, Edamame, had a strong bond despite the constant violence and sibling rivalries within a family of 6. Crispum and his father often disagreed on strategy and technique and it caused a divide within the family to the point Edamame questioned his brother’s well being.

When on a mission off of Planet Plant, Crispum and his crew were so successful they decided to go on their own additional conquests. During this continued expedition the signal to Crispum’s scouter, ship and crew had all vanished. Edamame feared the worst and planned to discover who was responsible for his brother’s disappearance and claim his vengeance.

Edamame uses strategic ability to determine where his opponent will strike allowing him to dodge it completely.

SPARKING Offensive || Purple Rain (Heavy)

Edamame surrounds his body with purple ki energy that radiates off of him building up to a point that finally explodes sending blasts all over the area.

Support Technique || MAX Power

You may activate Max Power at the very start of your post, increasing the power of all of your techniques by +10% while active. This will drain Momentum at a cost of -1 MP per post and prevents you from gaining MP naturally, using evasive or escape techs, blocking escapes, and intercepting attacks meant for others. You can only turn it off at the end of a post, at the end your second post after activation at the earliest. You will still consume MP and not regain any MP on the post you turned it off on. If you run out of MP, you lose Max Power's effects at the end of your post and cannot gain any MP on your next turn.

Utility Technique || Flight

Through proper use of Ki, Edamame can take flight.

Utility Technique || Power Ball

This technique allows Edamame to shoot an energy ball high into the air. Its power mimics that of the moon's Blutz Waves, allowing him to transform into a Great Ape! Any other Saiyans in the thread with access to Oozaru may also use this Power Ball to fuel their own power-up if they so choose.
