Trouble in Paradise (Open)

    A door to the lower decks suddenly slams open, and the huge Saiyan, Lottus, comes barreling through the threshold - seeming to be heading straight for Megis! A much smaller Saiyan woman holding a dripping rag jogs out behind him, looking amused. Lottus completely ignores Megis, and slams his hands on the guard railing of the side of the ship, and half throws himself over the edge.

    "BLUEEEEEHHHHHGH!!!"

    Lottus, as it turns out, did not quite have the stomach for traveling by boat! After ejecting his recent lunch, the Saiyan slumps over the railing and groans miserably. Rucola, half chuckling, slows her jog to a walk and stops beside him. She pats Lottus on the back and pulls his long hair back, just in case. And, just in time apparently, as a second wave hits Lottus' stomach.

    "Easy there, big guy." Rucola laughs, taking the wet rag and wiping Lottus' forehead and face. "I can't fuggin' believe it - ya'll are infamous for being a big scary Super Saiyan, and ya get beat by a swayin' boat! Ain't no one'll believe this back home."

    "Shut up!" Lottus groans. "We don't even... buuuuh... have these things on Plant... Why did you... want to... ride this damn thing...? We could have flown...!"

    "Sure could, and thank ya fer humorin' me heh!" Rucola responds. At this point, Rucola finally notices Megis and the crew. "Whoops, looks like there's been a mutiny?"

    Rucola raises a brow at the crowd of Earthlings, and then at Megis.

    "Oh... you think we work on this floating log?" she says, smirking. "An' who're you callin' little? Look at these losers you wanna call sailors! They all jacked up, but are so weak I could kill 'em all in my sleep!"

    Rucola tosses the rag over the railing and crosses her arms as Megis weirdly manipulates his body to look more muscular. There was something rather funny about the display.

    "Though, if'n I have'ta guess, I could carry about a solid ton without too much issue." she says, indulging the Majin. She then jabs a thumb at Lottus, who was still miserably hanging over the side. "We ain't got any sailable waters on the planet we come from bucko. Not that we need to, since we can fly an' all."

    It was at that, that Lottus finally straightens, letting out a ill sounding belch. He had a headache, but not nearly as bad as the migraines he used to get when trace amounts of Destron had been infecting his blood and brain before he had died. It was the word combat that drew the Saiyan's attention. Lottus straightens his posture, drawing up to his full height and towering over the nearest crewers. He turns to Megis, one eye half closed since the headache was focused on that side of his head.

    "Throw me overboard?" Lottus says, forcing a sneer. "Oh, I would love to see you try..."

    Lottus reaches up to his scouter and presses a button. The golden glass begins assessing the beings standing before him. As with before, when they booked passage on the ship - well, threatened their way onto it - the crew had battle powers of less than twenty. Pitiful, every one of them. But the Majin...

    "Well, well... one hundred thousand flat." Lottus says, now genuinely smirking. "I can see where the bravado comes from! But, that's still a rather... optimistic thing to think you can throw me anywhere."

    Lottus looks at Rucola, grinning.

    "Think I can have a bit of fun?" he mockingly inquires. "These are pirates after all, no one will miss them. I can kill them all and not cause the Kingdom so much as a blink of problem."

    "Lottus, you don't fight. You rampage." Rucola chides, but not in her usual argumentative tone. "But... well, we are in a big cave. I s'pose if ya did wipe 'em out, then we can just take all their loot they got hidin' around. Should pay for fuel, at least."

    Lottus' grin grows, and he look back at Megis.

    "How about a wager?" Lottus says, cracking his knuckles. "If you kick my ass, I'll let you order me around for a couple days. But if we fight, and I win, then you'll come along with me on my ship. How does the idea of freewheeling across the galaxy sound? You can loot planets, rather than just the one here."

    Lottus' hands curl into tight fists.

    "Sound good to you, eh?" Lottus presses. "What was it... Megis?"

    As if in an afterthought, Lottus gives a flourishing, theatrical bow.

    "I am Lottus - killer extraordinaire."

    The crew vacated the ship in a hurry, pouring down the boarding and loading ramps like they'd just been given a fist full of money and shore leave. Rucola rolls her eyes at Lottus' self introduction, but has no time to say much more. Megis suddenly charges, splitting into two! One charged straight for Lottus, who straightens his posture, and the other goes for Rucola!

    "Woah shi-!!" was all Rucola could say before Megis rams into her. Rucola is thrown bodily over the rail and crashes into the crates resting on the port deck below. She had been knocked cold right then and there, much to what would likely be her embarrassment later.

    Lottus, on the other hand, does nothing to intervene, nor defend himself. Megis' uppercut lands true, pounding hard up into Lottus' chin! But unlike Rucola, Lottus was unmoved. He head jerked back a bit, but he merely pushes back down with just the strength of his neck and jaw. Lottus reaches up, pushing his fingers between his chin and Megis' fist, and pushes it back.

    "Well now - that was rude." Lottus says, though his amused grins suggests that he is not at all insulted. "But, I like it when others have some fire in them. You'll be the second of your kind that I'll have vaporized - I might be making a sport of it! HA!"

    Lottus' fist suddenly glows with crimson and black energy, and he shoves Megis' fist back, intending to use Megis' own fist to ram into the Majin's face, along with his own added strength!

    There was some satisfaction and amusement in driving another being's fist into their own face. The impact knocked Megis back, and Lottus remained rooted to the spot. His stomach was still settling from... earlier... but the adrenaline beginning to course through his veins was beginning to numb the headache and the ill sensations in his stomach.

    "You're right - that one had been much weaker than you. Majin Sha, if my memory serves." Lottus replies, grinning up as the Majin scurried up the mast. "But, I'd say you're about as strong as the other Majin I met. Some female type called Jinx. I'd say you are about the same strength right now as what she was around when I met her. Nothing for me to worry about, but impressively strong."

    Lottus smirks. He could appreciate a powerful being, especially ones that weren't so damn stuffy about their morals. But Megis' next words wipe the smirk right off of Lottus' face. Tuffle creator? This Majin was a Tuffle abomination?! Lottus' expression changes sharply, becoming a furious snarl. Megis' drilling attack connects solidly into Lottus, sending him backwards and off the ship! His armor took the brunt of the damage, but he didn't particularly care. Lottus' hands curl into tight fists.

    "And here we have another example of why I should exterminate those damned little rats!!" Lottus growls, his reddened eyes glinting with hate. "It wasn't enough to make Destron, but their Kai's DAMNED abomination experiments! Androids, Bio Warriors, and now Majins... Damn little rodents!!"

    Lottus' crimson and black aura explodes to life around him, and the Saiyan rockets towards Megis! He reaches out with a massive hand, intent on catching Megis by the face in an effort to bring them clear across the cavern and drive them hard into the stone wall!

    Lottus had taken the Majin clear across the cave, rattling the area with the sheer impact as he drove the Majin against the slick solid stone. The wall shattered and cratered, showering the two and the water far below with debris and dust, though Lottus was unperturbed. The Majin's feet smack into his face as they try to break free of his grasp - but his was an iron grip. Though, being kicked in the face and pushed against wasn't exactly a pleasant experience.

    What he hadn't expected was the unusual way Megis did escape his grasp, his body contorting and half liquefying to slip into the cracks of the cavern wall! Lottus drew his hand back, backing off and watching as the Majin began to ravage the stone. Soon, the ceiling and wall before him explode! Huge chunks of stone come crashing down upon the Saiyan warrior, who can be heard snarling in irritation as the largest chunk catches him and brings him plummeting into the cold waters!

    For a tense few moments, only the splash of giant rock meeting water fills the air with its noise. Lottus manages to slip out from under the stone, swimming back towards the surface like a shark rocketing towards its prey. He bursts through the turbulent water in a geyser of water, and thrusts his right hand forth!

    "You have no idea how much!" Lottus cackles, remarking on Megis' earlier comment. A ball of crimson and black energy forms his palm, and flies towards the cracks where Megis had sheltered!

    Lottus lowers his hand as Megis comes out of his little hiding place among the stone, gathering his power fast! It was like witnessing a thundercloud taking shape, and Lottus enjoys the spectacle. At the Majin's words, Lottus' snarl takes on a slightly more amused tone - Lottus had no King. Taori had no control over him any more that the Saiyan Monarch could control when it rained. Lottus did as he pleased, and at Megis' challenging words, Lottus spread his arms wide.

    He could feel the power raging within the Majin, and didn't fear it. This amount of power was nothing to him. He could easily overpower it, even use his own Ki to completely negate the attack as it hit him. But he does neither of these things - because it was nothing. Lightning blasted the Saiyan full in the chest, searing agony through his body and making his muscles convulse! Lottus fell from the air, splashing into the water below. He sank down into the dark depths, until his back softly pressed against the slimy mud of the underwater floor. For a moment, his eyes had blurred. His armor at the point of impact was blackened and could have been charred had he not fallen into the water.

    Lottus manages to shake off the shock of the electric blast, and move to his feet. He would run out of air soon, but that wasn't going to be an issue. He presses his hand against the spot he'd taken the blast, and winces. And then, he grins.

    It wasn't nearly enough. Crimson and black energies begin to wrap around the Saiyan...

    Above, the surface of the water would begin to churn, and then spin as if a great hole had opened up in the seabed, creating a powerful whirlpool that threatens to suck in anything not tied to the port docks! The whirlpool suddenly widens at the center as a pillar of crimson and black energy erupts out like a freshly awakened volcano! Lottus, hands clasped tight at his sides, bellows as his power rages! The veins in his exposed arms, legs, neck and face pop up like internal rivers as he screams. His screams become a mad cackling as the world rages around him.

    Lottus suddenly bursts into the air, causing the raging whirlpool to lash out in all directions like a tidal wave! Crimson and black energy bubbles up from Lottus' right shoulder, snaking down and coalescing around his fist.

    "I have no King!!" Lottus bellows as he flies towards Megis, "You might be the mightiest Majin - But I am the strongest Saiyan alive!!"

    Lottus reaches Megis, and drives his Ki empowered fist at Megis' face!

    Lottus felt the Majin's face and skull fold around his fist at the impact, a satisfying CRACKOOM followed as the Majin is smashed into the stone wall once again. The Majin practically looked splattered, but manages to quite literally peel off the stone and yell in frustration. Lottus smirks at the Majin as they throw their fit.

    The Majin then began sucking in an intense amount of air, deforming their body - and dove for the water! Lottus watches, still smirking.

    "Well that's just pitiful." Lottus remarks, grinning cruelly. "All that bravado just went out the window. But, I'm not through with you yet."

    Lottus reaches up to the Scouter mounted on his left ear, and presses a button. It bleats and beeps as it begins tracking battle power levels, and locks onto the largest, and outlines the Majin's form as it races through the deep water. Scouters can track power levels for hundreds of miles. There would be no escaping Lottus - not in this manner, at least.

    Lottus takes a deep breath of his own, and dives into the water as well, sheering through the depths as they grew dark. Lottus' scouter never loses track, and he begins to quickly close the gap between himself and the fleeing Majin. Lottus thrusts his left hand forth, and begins rapidly firing Ki balls after the Majin! None of them are particularly well aimed - he didn't want the chase to end too soon, after all! He loved to chase down his prey, as this Majin would soon learn. He fired dozens of blasts, uncaring of whether they struck animals, coral, rock, or the Majin at all.

    The harassment was the point. He wanted to make this being who dared to challenge him to a death match to fear for his life.

    And to avenge the embarrassing knockout he did to Rucola. Lottus internally pauses in his mind - why did that matter? He shakes his head, continuing to chase the Majin and blast haphazardly in Megis' direction. He could overtake the Majin; but where was the fun in catching a quarry so soon after the chase began?
