The expansive wasteland burns with the midday sun, withering anything unfortunate enough to be caught unprepared for the heat. After recent events, Lottus had chosen to remove himself from society for the time being. He had a great deal of things to consider as the day he desired to unleash upon the Tuffles was drawing ever closer. He had heard good arguments against doing what he planned to do - but as sound as those arguments had been, it simply was not going to do to back out now.
Everyone lost things and people important to them in war. Everyone. But save for his own life, Lottus had lost everything and everyone. His parents - his father by his own hand - his siblings, his comrades, and Rapini. Rapini had been by far the worst thing he'd lost, because she had come into his life at the worst low. She had all but forced her way into his heart, only to be torn away by the Tuffle war machine... and Destron...
A friend had called Lottus out for being incredibly foolish, and behaving unreasonably irrational and selfish. And he had been right. Lottus knew he was. But it didn't stop the sheer need to do what he planned to do. Destron was too much... to horrible to allow to continue to exist. And all those that worked on it and all those who would work to further it deserved annihilation.
Did the civilians of Hatchi? Lottus found himself no longer caring about that. There was no moral high ground to stand on when it came to conquering worlds. Vocado proclaimed a desire to potentially expand the Kingdom to more worlds - which meant those worlds would see their civilizations destroyed too. Vocado's view on destruction during war versus destruction at any other time was... naïve for a would be conqueror. Perhaps Lottus IS mad - but he did not pretend to hold some moral ground when it came to the death of another civilization.
Lottus heaves a heavy breath, gazing around the rocky terrain. He'd been training here to gain a better handle on his rapidly growing power. Something that was, admittedly, starting to scare Lottus. He'd spent years barely making any notable improvements - but over the course of less than one year, his power had increased ten fold. Now, his desire for vengeance was almost at hand. He would not go into this unprepared.
