Lottus raises a brow at Zuqetta. His expression is a mix of bewhildered wonder, and surprise - but only for a moment.
"So, the old rag did go and have his own. How quaint that he mated someone of greater class." Lottus chuckles, waving the revelation off. Saiyans placed less importance on family lines, and it wasn't uncommon for them to never bother discussing it. Major households, like Zuqetta's mother, held surnames for their clans - but the Low-Class caste like Lottus did not. "Well, isn't that dandy? I have living relatives after all."
Lottus shakes his head, chuckling to himself. At least now he understood why he thought he'd seen Pahiri in Zuqetta's face.
"...So then, an offer to join up with a mercenary group." Lottus says, amused. "You're the second on to offer me this. A Heran, Fukushu, offered the same thing. Unending enemies to fight and test myself against was his offer. But I figure he only really needs my power for his intended attack on the Planet Earth."
Lottus starts towards the door.
"Well, sell me the offer Zuqetta." Lottus grunts, though still visually amused. "Show me around this flying bucket and give me a better offer than just being your sparring partner. As fun as that would be, I'm a bit more... savage at heart. Tell me I can do as I please, and I will do so. It's just as well you don't plan to give me orders - I don't take orders from anyone. Not unless they can keep me from snapping their neck."
Lottus starts down the hall, having no particular aim in mind. He is aware that he is barefoot, wearing only the form fitting combat pants he'd been wearing already before Zuqetta engaged him. And the cleaning droids woud have their work cut out for them, as Lottus' large mane of hair that stretched all the way to the back of his knees was positively dripping all over the floor.
"You and Fukushu offer me similar things. What can you provide that the Heran can't, Cousin?" Lottus inquires slyly.
