Starlight, Starbright [CARNAGE]

Well, here she was, meandering on the planet she'd been dumped on by that treacherous cat. All Zuqetta could do was sigh heavily with nearly every step, garnering the attention of those she passed in an unnecessary way. She wore no disguise, and took no pains to hide her power in any manner. If was painful to say, but she wasn't even really here because she wanted to be, but her sister insisted that she stop being a solo act and start socializing more. With that in mind, Zerori had invited Zuqetta to her home away from home, though hadn't exactly said what they'd be doing on Konat's of all places. As she walked down the streets however, it quickly became clear as to what that something would be as a familiar voice called out to all of Lux.

"Oh hell..." Zuqetta would say with a sigh, "-welp, if there was ever a time to socialize... it sure as hell isn't now, but fuck it." Without much hesitation, Zuqetta would take into the air, intent to confront Jinx- "Wait, confront isn't the right word..."

Now wasn't the time for such a piss poor and lousy personality, Zuqetta refused to be known as the downer of the group, even if she wasn't actually part of it. Smacking her cheeks, Zuqetta would rush up to Jinx with a forced confidence, stopping just short of the majin with an excited shout of her own. "And Zuqetta!" She'd exclaim, trying to match Jinx' enthusiasm as she struck what could only be described as a children's tv superhero pose; her face reddening as she questioned why she didn't wait for her sister to arrive to make introductions a bit smoother.

"H-hey again-" She'd whisper to Jinx, quickly ceasing her antics as she tried to maintain her composure, "-we uhh, met in that mine? I was taller? Any of that ringin' a bell?" Her embarrassment was at its peak, but at the very least, she couldn't feel any MORE embarrassed. Still, rather than try to mingle NOW of all times, Zuqetta was beginning to realized that it might have been best to wait until the festivities were over.

The sound of laughter would ring out, harsh but hearty as Zerori would soon be quickly approaching Jinx - having heard the call and snuck her way back to the planet just in time for the big announcement and reveal. The laughter, on the other hand, was all for her sister. “Finally taking my advice to heart?! I think that was a pretty good pose, actually,” She’d tease, black aura radiating outwards as she approached and skid to a stop in the air before the group while still floating with a surprising amount of grace. While technically not dressed in anything different than her usual attire the visual appearance of the Nova Star was present just beyond her chest - magic in the form of a static symbol. This time, however, she remained untransformed as she tossed Jinx a grin.

“Jinx, my sister,” She’d gesture toward Zuqetta and then back to Jinx. “Zuqetta, Jinx though you sound like ya’ll have met!” A moment would pass before Zerori would sigh, deciding not to ignore him any further. “… also yeah,” Without the same amount of fanfare or pride, Zerori would cross her arms and grumble. “-my cousin, Lottus.” Before dropping the last foot to land. She’d sensed his presence before arriving and while it made her tail twitch and lash about something fierce that HE’D gotten here before her, she wasn’t worried or bothered by his presence as much as one probably should have. Ever since their last meeting on Plant she’d made back-up plan after back-up plan in the event of a situation with him ever coming to pass.

She hadn’t interrupted his words toward Jinx or her sister but after so graciously introducing him, Zerori would toss him a dead-panned look, remaining cool under the pressure of his obvious insult to her sister. “Yeah, that sounds less like it runs in the family and more like you’re an asshole not many like. Not that this is news or anything, but I thought I’d remind you,” Her lips upturned into a sharp grin. “-In case you forgot.” She kept her antagonizing mild, making sure to also keep her temper in check. Lottus was a storm of violence that was easy to lose oneself into - more often than not to the detriment of anyone around them.

The lack of wins on her end was purely an issue of her own making. If there was anything she was going to put above herself - it was going to be the Novas. So she’d play nice for now, keeping her teasing light, before she looked back at Jinx with a NOTABLY happier expression. “Ray of sunshine, ain’t he? ‘Bout time we did something fun again!” Yeah, politics weren’t her game. She was here just for Jinx and whatever the hell she could want.

"Hey spoilsport! This wasn't an invitation to be attacking the guests!"
Never one to be late or early, Striker arrived just when she was needed. A sudden blur of green seemed to blindside the Tuffle as he threw the canister of poison out. While a different fox person seemed to make sure its dispersal didn't land anywhere close to at least one of them, this ball of energy launched itself into the air to completely throw it away harmlessly into the skyline and beyond with a good smack. No telling where the cleanup detail would have to run for that one... but it clearly wasn't even close to the city as it cleared the horizon.

Hopping back to the ground, this small creature would make its appearance. A striking and infamous streak of dull green alongside the sparks that denoted her strength at its peak without that... golden form. Striker appeared to pull some cameras by that mere fact alone as she shrouded herself in a light see-through bubble. Standing and giving Sen a wide and toothy grin just before throwing a thumbs up at those hanging in the air.

"Jinxy, Sal, Z! Man! I've been waiting for this day, you know. I get antsy playing defense while you all go window shopping, you know!"
Staring up there, a few saiyans she only barely recognized made for an interesting audience. One which she was physically familiar with. One of her fights in the Arcose Imperial Open, she heard he was quite the beast outside of that even! She wouldn't be joining them face to face so long as they flew, but even from the ground, she hoped that one would recognize her at least. "And if it isn't the big man himself! Locus was it? Lettuce? Right!? Ehh. Jinxy! Need me to handle anything down here?" Striker's thumbs up turned into a point over at Sen as she stood away from him, almost paying him even less mind than Sen gave the others. It was very clear what she meant by this, as offhand as she treated the guy's threat with her own sense of ego.

"I don't take disrespect kindly, As a Nova or otherwise. We don't want a guy trying to take wind out of our sails anyways, right!?"
Another vaguely familiar guy made an appearance; That other fauxbian she met when she was kicking that tribe of weird guys out! As she spoke, those blue eyes trailed over to him with that recognition. She held her toothy smirk as she waved with her other hand. Her confidence in handling things was unmatched at least...

"WOOOOAAAHH! Now THAT'S a lotta people!" There were so so many faces she didn't recognize at all yet but she was sure she was going to get to know at least some of them today! And ALL of them looked like a blast! She and Dahlia had heard Jinx's broadcast and gotten in contact with Nervan and his friends as well before coming on down to Lux to see what the fuss was all about! There was no way they were going to just miss out on all of this. "THIS IS GONNA BE SO FUN!" Flambréra could hardly keep her excitement to herself and Dahlia would give her quite the look for having such excitement over such an event and large gathering of people. It was pretty exciting in a way though given what was broadcasted, that Majin they had met back at the Hetap factory back on Earth seemed to have some big plans in store for this planet.

"Hey hey hey! That's Jinx!" One face that was recognized instantly was of course the Majin herself, who'd put on quite the show of colour in the sky, the Zoan already thought fondly of Jinx and how she was super cool for having her team win that big tournament on Arcose as well as wanting to snatch that brand new super secret Hetap flavour! Whatever side Jinx was on here Flam and Dahlia were on her side too no doubt! Flam for one thought Jinx being in charge of this planet was a great idea! She'd make a great premier and had her team to back her up!

Of course, trying to take charge of an entire planet though didn't come without challenges and there was a lot of people here. Both zoans tried their best to keep track of all that was going on, there seemed to be a bit of family tension between some Saiyans and was that Destron that was thrown!? What the hell! But then two other people moved to defend the Saiyans it'd been thrown at! Was that foxy looking fella alright? Was that someone from the Arcosian Empire!? Oh man, it was all happening now!

While there was a lot going on and lots to do focusing on one particular thing at a time where able was a good thing and the duo chose to try and aid Illuma in helping the poor fox who'd copped a whole lot of purple gas to the face from that canister that was thrown. "How can we be of assistance?"

Zuqetta's face reddened when Jinx complimented her on the pose, she'd have to thank that strange guy Steel at some point for helping her to make a pretty good impression. She'd relax just a bit from the awkwardness she felt, Jinx being the same bouncy personality she'd been back when Zuqetta met her in disguise certainly helped. Though before she could relax completely, the tension would rise again as a terribly familiar, gravelly voice spoke out. "Hellhellhell-" she'd mutter under her breath, casually hovering aside in the hopes of remaining unseen with Jinx between she and Lottus, though it was clear he'd already noticed, and his choosing to address her simply met she couldn't play it safe and ignore him, "Lottus-" she'd say with a sigh as she hovered into view, "-yeah, you're significantly stronger from what I can tell. So... you're welcome, I guess?"

It was far too awkward to think of what to say to the guy whose arm she'd basically chopped off for fun, would, "I was a different person then", help? Likely not, but the bigger issue came from the fact that Zerori had shown up to the shindig. Zuqetta wasn't against being introduced to her friends, and it wasn't like she didn't know her sister would come. With Lottus here however, it was a different story entirely, there wasn't a chance in hell she'd let him hurt her. Something that'd have been much easier to avoid if Zerori wasn't antagonizing the loon.

Zuqetta would quickly move to stand closer to Lottus, placing herself between he and Zerori so as to not take any chances. "Sis!" Zuqetta would bite as she shot a stern look back towards Zerori before returning a sharpened gaze to Lottus, "Lottus, we can settle our matter between us another time. For now, you heard Jinx, yeah? She said she ain't gonna mess with the "fun" you've been havin' here, so how about we NOT ruin her big day."

Zuqetta was keen to say more, possibly even attempt to usher Lottus away with the enticing offer of settling what was between them now, just not here. A fireball breaking through the atmosphere and crashing down just below them however would completely distract her, especially when said fireball was quickly revealed to be none other than the pirate she'd met once before, Salvo!

Zuqetta's tail would sway about with excitement once she'd recognized the one who said her name. "Salvo!" Zuqetta would call out in a childishly affectionate tone, before just as quickly flinching as she remembered Lottus' continued existence. She couldn't allow herself to be caught up in her fanatical, pirate loving ways, at least not while the threat still loomed. Zuqetta would maintain her serious demeanor, not wanting to be caught off guard in case Lottus struck. "Yeah, of course I'm still on your side!" she'd say with a huff, before raising an eyebrow at Salvo's next remark, "G-Good to see him?" She'd question, glancing between Salvo and Lottus, "Impossible, this guy doesn't actually have friends, does he!?"

It was only an assumption on Zuqetta's part, but if Salvo did consider Lottus anything close to a friend, then she was more than a bit miffed and jealous over it. Unfortunately, it was then that any feeling of a lighthearted mood would be suddenly extinguished. An Arcosian had shown to congratulate Jinx, one Salvo seemed to know, but as Jinx began to whimsically encourage he and Salvo to have a bout, another voice would shout out Lottus' name. So focused as she was on making sure Lottus didn't harm Zerori, Zuqetta's senses had ignored everything else and all other arrivals. From the sudden canister that rushed past her, to the sudden arrival of her bento-buddy, Xiaolan as he fell from above between she and Lottus.

"Xiao-!?" Zuqetta would call out with equal parts worry and confusion, chaos ensuing immediately as the assailant paired a couple shots to go along with the shattered canister that now dispersed destron of all things. Zuqetta reacted instinctively, bringing her arms up to cover her face for all the good it might have done. Luck was on her side however, as a most familiar green blur rushed to her aid, quickly dealing with the shots and most importantly the destron. While she may have been protected, and the dispersing destron removed to a safe distance, Xiaolan had unfortunately not been so lucky.

Zuqetta had glanced towards Striker momentarily, but the time for pleasantries had long since passed. "X-Xiao!!" Zuqetta would shout as she rushed towards her friends side, "Xiao! Bento buddy!" She'd exclaim worriedly, "Breathe!!!" Zuqetta was in a panic, she had no idea of how to help, let alone any ability to do so. Her body quivered with equal parts fear and rage, her fist clenching as her gaze would snap violently upon Sen. "YOU-!" She'd growl through gritted teeth as wisps of golden energy began to spark around her. She could envision nothing but as gruesome a death as possible for the man, she didn't know him, she didn't care, he deserved to suffer just as badly as Xiaolan was suffering as far as Zuqetta was concerned.

Before her rage could reach its peak however, another had rushed to Xiaolan's side. "Who are you!?" Zuqetta would bite, ready for a fight, "Don't hurt-!" she'd cut herself off, realizing even through her rage what it was the old woman was trying to do. Her body quivered as the rage subsided, replaced now entirely by fear and worry over Xiaolan's condition. The old woman had called for another as she tried to help Xiaolan to breathe, leaving Zuqetta to feel all the more helpless, knowing she in no way could help. "Please... please help Xiao!" She'd request through angry tears as she watched the old woman and strange purple guy try to help, a bit of hope coming to her as another pair of animal like individuals joined in, offering their assistance as well.

Zuqetta would find her plea answered, whether it had been Jinx' intention or not; by Jinx' intervention and unique magic, even Zuqetta was capable of seeing the positive change affect Xiaolan. She didn't know how the majin did it, and didn't care, so long as her bento buddy was alive and well. Zuqetta disregarded the pathetic feeling she had for herself, wiping away the tears in her eyes and choosing to stay by Xiaolans side while Jinx began to form a plan. The situation was well out of control, and there was no telling what would happen next; she was well aware of Lottus' past experience with destron, as well as he reactions to it. Could he have changed? Possible, but unlikely. Jinx was right to be wary, but if an impending attack from Lottus was truly coming, then Zuqetta would stay right here with Xiaolan until the kitsune could move again.
