APPEARANCE: 5' 11" - A younger, handsome man with a quick, easy smile. Rher sports jet black hair simultaneously well-groomed and a wild mess, spilling in combed waves to the right side of his head and covering his ear. A layer of thin, scruffy, perfectly maintained gray stubble and a pair of steampunk-style tinted glasses complete the look.
He wears a plain white-grey short sleeve shirt with a gray long-sleeved jacket atop it that cuts off at the midriff and sports a looped black buckle-belt around the sides. He typically wears the collar popped. A pair of khaki colored baggy pants is secured by another red buckled belt, the ends stuffed into a pair of hi-top red shoes with black highlights and a white tip/sole. On his left hand is a plain black fingerless glove, while the right has a fingerless gauntlet sporting a single pink glowing gem.
BACKGROUND: Rher is a smooth-talking swindling smuggler that grew up on the industrial streets of Nightshade in Konat's infamous Deep Dark. The sans-wedlock birthed son of a factory worker and escort, Rher was left to fend for himself at a blisteringly young age. He learned quickly how to survive: theft, charisma, and power. Even in the destitute conditions of Nightshade's poorest, those with power and the will to enforce it reigned supreme. It didn't take long before Rher climbed the ranks of his local gang as quickly as his age would allow, securing leadership at the ripe age of thirteen.
Yet his ambitions went beyond backstreet deals, petty theft and grand larceny, cutthroat tactics, dealing only with the Deep Dark. Word of a grand storm, failing noble oligarchy, and tensions between the magically inclined Kashvar and their Konatsian neighbors had left the planet ripe for the taking. Rher expanded beyond Nightshade and quickly became infamous among criminal circles for his ruthlessness, cunning, and insatiable lust for power. He spent time among exiled Kashvar mages in the Twisted Wilds, learning secrets of forbidden magicks and power that he would quickly leverage against his enemies, both domestic and foreign.
Everything had been going to plan... until the Nova Corps popped up seemingly overnight. Within the span of a mere year they had amassed enough influence and raw power to perform a hostile takeover of the entire planet. Potential problematic leaders were executed, imprisoned, or exiled from the planet to solidly secure their hold on power - and Rher was seemingly facing a wall... but he knew better. Offering himself as a knowledgable advisor to Majin Jinx, months of coaxing and advice have secured Rher the ear of the Premier and the recently created position of 'Administrator' of Konats to act on Jinx's behalf. He had no plans to disobey or betray the Corps - they were the muscle and magnets for bad press and saught only to fatten themselves and maintain power. Rher could respect that. He simply leveraged his new authority to better himself alongside his superiors.
