The clock didn’t wait for the demon to gather every little piece of information they could. Usumi was in a sudden rush to get her deed done. And if it meant possibly rushing the big finale? Then so be it. The few she had met on Namek were either ambivalent or antagonistic to her. It took some convincing for the likes of Gandigan to even consider her. Perhaps it was all just fated anyways.
“The Shrine, then. And I just take these… ‘artifacts’ to it? That’s where I’ll get my wish?”
The demon had just got done batting aside the few warriors nearing Elder Guru Village. Standing over what little resistance the village had to give initially. It wouldn’t be long before those fabled ‘guardians’ were upon her. Singularly, she feared no man. But as an army of warriors, the demon might find it hard to press them for long. So she corned those remaining conscious enough to speak. Threatening their village with more chaos if they were given details about this Shrine.
“But… But no such things have been around for generations!”
Porunga. Said to grant wishes when bringing these ‘spherical’ artifacts to it. It jogged some memory in the old demon, but they were certain no such spheres existed anymore. When the young namekian cowered and apologized for their insolence they were met with a simple backhand. Easily knocking the boy out. The rest of the village shudder at the last few words she has to say before cutting a way over to this shrine. A simple cross section slash with the sword revealing a portal.
“No convincing, no force. None of it seems to move you. But since I don’t have the time to comb over your entire planet, I’ll have to leave you. Witness the calamity you soon bring upon yourselves, for your culture becomes forfeit until I get my hands on these things.”
She stepped back into the portal, letting shadow hang over her form but waiting just a moment to step all the way through.
“Follow me at your own peril.”
Whoosh. Her form and shadow fade as do the portal she tore open. Leaving no more than the village in disarray and warriors injured as evidence of her being there. On the other end of this portal it would spit out the small demon at the foot of the expansive shrine.
‘This is our one shot, girl. Even if I succeed in this feat, I will be dormant once again. It will be up to you to carry out our mission.’
‘YOUR mission. This is still all your doing, remember?’
‘Girl, you’ve gotten strong, but unless you continue my path you WILL stagnate. Do not grow complacent just because I won’t have direct say in your actions. I am doing this for your sake as well.’
Usumi usually didn’t concede to benefitting someone else over themselves. So even now, as they bickered in their one body and stood at the precipice of Namek, Griselda remained ever the skeptic to the goal. The demon was destructive and power hungry. There had to be something greater he got out of this other than being ‘saved from death’.
“Gandigan.”
Usumi surveyed the land for any lurkers while sending the preemptive signal to her Namekian associate via telepathy. Forcing thought into the dull green cannibal’s mind as she scanned with both her physical senses and her keen sense of kili. So far, the coast was clear. What would happen next would throw that away on a timer however.
“The road ahead is dangerous. I have reason to believe that these items I spoke of earlier may be scattered ALL around the planet. Hidden where no pesky foreigner could get them without scorching the lands. The time has come to escalate, wherever you are. Come to the Shrine of Porunga. Center of the Dragon Isles. I expect they will try to stop what comes next.”
The demon gave one more clean look up at the massive statue of Porunga again. Slowly eyeing the massive pillars that span around the figure and its central pedestal. Seven identical half-domed idents. Empty vassals meant to taunt her. With a deep breath, the demon would hop back from the shrine and yanked her sword from temporal space. Gripping it firmly in both hands, she’d ready it with a point outwards and body lowered in a combative stance. Stood facing the open space away from the Porunga Shrine. Quietly, and very uncharacteristically, Usumi seemed to chant to herself. Reciting some old memory. It had been too long since they’d ever attempted.
“We few souls, defiant of the god tree, dutifully bind our free will to our actions. Striking true to our word as well as our blade. Today, we cast our truth upon the enemy, ”
The demon’s sword started to become enveloped in that red energy as it had time and time again. Swelling up along the back of the blade as the words seem to trigger something within both weapon and warrior here. Slowly, she rose her hands to lift the blade over her head. Closing her eyes and focusing her intent on the space ahead of her. Relying not on sight, but sense. Like she would many times before when she felt out where to place her shadowy portals.
“The purifying light. The sequestering shadow. Each in part guides my hand in today’s judgment. One to let go forever, and another to lock away for eternity.”
That red aura suddenly shifted to an unnatural greyish flame. A mix of white flame backlit with dark, unnatural black heat that hissed in the namekian atmosphere. Usumi could feel their heart racing as the clouds started to darken. Their power had peaked back to her base, cutting away any semblance of restraining herself. For such a big task, she would need all her strength.
“Today, we cast judgment upon the wicked! The unsalvageable, the sinning immortal! May Containment’s Flames Take You!”
With a roar, the white-black flames rip into the blade as Usumi drags a large downward cleave at the open air. Howls of death and whistles of air forcibly split at the atomic level pierce through any background sound that may have come with the rolling winds and coming storm clouds ahead. This white-black flame leaped from their slash and stretched a giant hole in the space just in front of her. The visage of nothing but dark shadow beyond it. It was a large, direct portal. Not one made for travel as Usumi commonly did, but one to lock things within. And as this flame burned and tore at the air, it rose many, many meters into the sky. Forming an eyelid turned on its side in shape. Eventually, the white flames would dissipate until it was left with nothing but this giant portal.
As soon as the last wick of unnatural light left the rim of this rift, a massive force starts to exert itself around the shrine. A vacuum effect starts by first pulling the air around into it. The heightened winds threatens to knock the small demon into her own creation, but by this time she had already leaped back closer to the shrine. A hand relinquishing duty from her blade handle for now and covering her face as bits of debris started getting caught in the wind and falling into this abyss.
“It won't take long, but I doubt I will be left to my own devices. Once this is done, Griselda, you must not force my power back out. Not by any means. Not until you gather these artifacts. I do not care how long it takes.”
Usumi muttered to her other half as she watched the tear in reality slowly grow. Before long, it should engulf the portion of land she wants and remove it from the face of the planet.

Planetary Telepathy (UT) used to contact Gandigan !
TL;DR - Usumi has only one solution to their problem; Lock down the Shrine until they can get their hands on its artifacts. They've opened up a massive tear in the space right next to the Shrine, opening a shadowy portal. A force threatens to suck in nearby loose debris and dislocate the Shrine all in one piece. Sealing it within Usumi's pocket dimension. Though their presence cannot be felt via Antisense, some Dragon Clan tribes have been spreading the word about the demon's arrival for a few days. And, most recently, Grand Elder Village had been assaulted for information over Porunga's Shrine. Also can't miss the shadow tear and darker clouds that'd be noticeable against the blue-green of Namek for miles.
