When you have dealt 60%/80%/150% Cumulative damage to an enemy, upon the enemy being KO'd/wounded/killed in the same split/thread, you regain 1(60%)/2(80%)/3(150%) KP & MP. This effect caps at 2 if the enemy is at or below 80% of your PL, and caps at 1 if the enemy is at or below 60% of your PL.

You gain Sparking Techniques every 70k PL instead of the standard 100k PL.

You may use multiple Offensive techniques in a single post, to a maximum of three. This is usable twice per thread, and will only work with Standard Techniques. Usable twice per thread, extend the duration of an active Standard Technique debuff by 1 turn, cannot be the same debuff in a row.

Erebos' Shadow Magic allows him to copy the fighting styles of others, occasionally to a near-perfect degree. If an opponent has used an Offensive or Defensive technique against you already in the thread, you may use that technique in turn as if it were your own. Does not apply to Sparking or Merging Techniques. May only be used once per thread and does not carry over to future threads.
|Tactician|
Once per thread, you can add the Homing or Stasis variant to a Light Offensive Technique, or Distanced or Stasis to a Light Defensive Technique.
|Vampiric|
Once per thread, you may designate a Standard Attack as ‘Vampiric.’ If this attack deals any damage, you choose to recover 1 KP or 10% HP.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Standing at a adequate 6'2, Erebos is a tall and lean Demonic creature. His pale white skin and hair betray his nature as one born of shadow essence. Striking gold eyes help differentiate him from the shadowy creatures he creates, which all sport the same deep red voids for eyes.

BACKGROUND: Demons are known for a few things. Destruction, savagery, chaotic tendencies. What they are not known for, usually, is compassion. Now, that isn’t to say Demons are incapable of it, nor that Erebos had a particularly high capacity for it himself, only that it was exceedingly rare in Erebos’ clan, and his father was none too happy about it.
Erebos comes from a long line of demon lords. Their clans name is impossible to pronounce with a mortal tongue, though it could be loosely translated to “Hero’s Bane”. V’rim’Thrak, the family patriarch at the time of Erebos’ birth, was a prime example of said clan name. His campaigns, both in the demon realm and outside it in the farthest reaches of the galaxy, were the things of legend. Bloody conquests spanning civilizations, and vicious wars that ended in the lives of so many lost.
Such a powerful man presumed he would breed a strong heir. Someone out for blood just as much as he himself. That was not the case, unfortunately.
This wasn’t to say Erebos was a kind hearted boy. Far from it. His exploits in his youth were perhaps leaning toward the mischievous rather than the destructive. Trickster magic, sleight of hand and honeyed words were his forte. He could hold himself well in a battle, but nowhere near the level expected of him by his kin. Suffice it to say, he earned himself a poor reputation among his peers growing up.
The other boys were relentless in their teasing. Calling him weak-willed, kind-hearted, and worst of all… Hero. The word sickened him at first, but as the teasing continued, he almost wore it as a badge of honor. He was better than them, because they couldn’t comprehend having the sense or decency to not decimate everything in their path.
But of course, as all things must, his cozy life in the castle walls (wherever it was their home resided in the demon realm, he was never quite sure) came to an abrupt end when the scullery maid of all people challenged him to a duel. Sadi was her name, and despite her ranking she was a vicious demon herself. Erebos thought the challenge amusing, but that sentiment was quickly dashed when the fight began.
The fight was over in less than a minute. A few decisive strikes and it was over. Word spread quickly, and Erebos went from the teased prince to an absolute laughing stock. To say V’rim’Thrak was displeased would be… An understatement.
Soon after, Erebos was stripped of his title. Anything that made him seem royal in the Demon Realm was stolen from him. His family’s sacred armor, passed down to him, was instead gifted to the maid. His sword, thin and precise, was melted and turned into the tip of an iron fence made to keep him out of their family home.
With nothing left to his name, the young princeling cursed his family, and went out to reclaim his honor. He equipped himself with the gear of an ordinary knight, and left the Demon Realm for the Northern Galaxy.
Though he’s only roamed the stars for a few years, he’s already made some interesting discoveries-- both about himself and the people around him. Not many people were as wicked as his kin had been, which gave him great pause. Maybe he’d try out that whole “being good” thing he was always teased for. A place called Earth seemed to be in a lot of trouble. Why not start there?

Erebos swings at his foe with an aloof wave of his sword. If he is somehow without his blade, he instead pops the opponent in the jaw with a dirty punch.

Erebos sinks into his shadow, allowing him to avoid an incoming strike.

Offensive || Shade Ball (Heavy)
Pulling his shadow from the floor, he wraps his arm in its essence as he hunches low. Balling his hand into a fist, he lurches forward, launching a goopy orb of shadow energy at his foe! Should it hit, the lingering effects of his shadow will stick to their own, hindering their movements for a time.

SPARKING Offensive || Bloodletting (Heavy)
Coating his blade in shadow energy, Erebos leaps forth to deliver a single, sinister strike. The vicious intent would be enough to do in most foes; the mighty gash left behind by his strike does in the rest.

Utility Technique || Shadow Magic
Erebos was born with the uncanny ability to manipulate shadow and its essence. He can move them about, sink into them and move through them. With enough effort, he can move the object that the shadow is attached to, including living beings! (With their OOC consent, of course).
He can also pull shadows off the object they're inhabiting to move about as if they're a living being of their own. This includes his own shadow, which can fight alongside him (This is how his Mimicry works!)
Utility Technique || Kili Sense
Erebos has the ability to detect the life force of other beings, as well as quantify its strength. Unlike most humanoids of the universe, he refers to this strength as Kili, as, in the Demon Realm, this is their measuring system.
