Chapter 1 here...
Recap: Azoth Icepeak wins the Budokai Tenkaichi! The war for Plant has ended in a victory for the Saiyans! The Earth's Lookout was destroyed by Azuki and Blizzard--the latter of whom plots for a takeover of Acrose now that Azoth has perished! Namek remains independent of angelic outsiders!
Two months after helping a possessed Azuki destroy Earth's lookout, Blizzard returns to Acrose; with Azoth dead and their reputation tarnished, the Major attempts to declare himself Emperor, promising to stop a supposedly-coming Saiyan conflict. Ward publicly bemoans the Acrosian's lies, knowing all-too-well what truly happened to Azoth and stood defiantly against the Acrosian. Mint is not far behind, giving Blizzard the choice of jail or dismemberment; Ise arrives as well, delighted at the opportunity of battling an opponent of Blizzard's strength even if it risked dying; a loyal lackey of hers, Lamina, promises to stop her from dying. Blizzard, though strong, hadn't a fraction of the strength needed to take Acrose themselves and was promptly blasted into the sun; in the aftermath, Mint, Ise and Ward converge and decide to rule Acrose together, forming the Acrosian Triumvirate.
A few days later, an alien named Parsella attempts to destroy Acrose's biggest prison, the Ice Pit: if successful, she would transform it into a Saiyan Kingdom outpost. Jagaimo, a Saiyan imprisoned by one of Mint's Captains--Kassava--is eager to escape; A shape-shfting, mind-controlling Konatsian, Kanna, is happy to help Jagaimo; Kassava, a Saiyan, was eager to crush the rebellion. Kassava tries to create a battle royale while the other escapees fight off Kanna; after the dust settled, the Ice Pit remained unbroken.
Three weeks after the Ice Pit incident, a master of dark magic arrives on the Dragon Isles, spreading waves of corruption that threatened the lives of everyone on it. This was the work of the Void Demon Sankishin, hoping to emerge from the event a bonafide god. The Sinner of Talos--an Oni named Kamae--stood by their side, creating the tree that spread the evil waves of darkness. Tabor took unkindly to their presence and demanded they cut the tree down, with their good, Bidroid friend Ollo not far behind; a business-savvy and very out of their depth Saibaman, Saiba-Ban, tried to gently convince the two to surrender.
An android named Cipher 24 arrived shortly after; Ban's attempt to talk Tabor down reminded him of similar words from Captain Salvo, prompting the android to stand against Kamae. K414 (in a new model, K500) was employed by Kamae, eager to be paid; the ever-charismatic Erebos arrived to defend Namek yet again from the forces of evil, only somewhat impressed by Sankishin's machinations; having warned the demons once before, Ward arrived to punish them proper.
Only moments later, a confused Nasu came fresh off the heels of revival to defend Namek, indebted to the planet after his mind-controlled rampage from before; with a new tongue and heightened resolve, Jackie followed suit, instructing the fighters to refrain from killing Kamae due to their body supposedly not being their own; Nero, determined to protect Namek, offered the demons only a single warning. Finally, an elderly Namekian named Mollau remained on the ground to help organize the surviving Namekian, whilst an optimistic, upbeat Saiyan woman named Zhalla stood by Nero's side, ready to beat their foes back!
Though the battle went by relatively quickly, it was titanic nonetheless! Saiba-Ban realized how similar the destruction Kamae wrecked was to the oppression that the Saibaman himself had faced; this spurred him into switching sides with an impassioned speech; concurrently, Tabor finds himself wiped from existence at Kamae's hands! With his friends' demise pushing him forward, Ollo takes revenge by lunging at Sankishin with a dragon-shaped aura; in combination with Nasu's own draconic techniques, they take the demon out with ease. In a tragic twist of fate, Azuki's life is ended by her own hands, but not by her own soul; the demon within her preferred death to divine imprisonment and dig a blade deep into their own throat.
With these ugly turns, K500 struts away due to boredom, Cipher and Ollo leave the battle out of sheer dejection, while Saiba-Ban opting for one last attack at Kamae. Enraged to the point of madness, Jackie joins Ban in their assault, with the two successfully incapacitating Kamae before Nero tosses them into the stratosphere and dispels their tree. The battle drew to a close with Namek emerging unconquered, yet the heavy blood toll prevented its defenders from any real celebration. At the end of the day, Zhalla and Mollau scoured across Namek's islands, determined to make sure they would only lose two friends that day...
