Dosu was no child! He was a grown adult capable of doing as he pleased. If what he wished to do was beating her up? Then that’s what he would do! As expected, she was of the same species as Megis. Seemingly invincible given how she could gather her missing body parts, reattach them or simply regrow them at will, Dosu wondered what kind of weak spot she could have. To most creatures, the head or heart were safe bets, but was she following those principles too? In this context, he could only try and figure it out by trial and error.

As she moved away from the stomp, the Heran followed her to continue his advance, however was suddenly blinded by the mass of goo covering his face. Instinctively, he tried getting it out, but the sheer stickiness was making it a problem. “Gah! It’s stuck to my face! My hair, too! What have you done, witch.”

Now that he only had sound to guide his movements and predict his enemy’s intentions, Dosu let her get close to him, taking the full punch to the gut. His body bent from the shock, his feet even lifting off the air for a second. As she would try and pull back, however, the Heran would grab hold of her arm, a smile forming on his goo-covered face. He felt her try and pull back, but only made his grip tighter.

“I’ve got you! Now, if normal punches don’t work on you…”

He pulled back his other arm, palm facing towards Moire. He focused on his arm, controlling his muscles in a perfect sequence. He began twisting his wrist, followed by his forearm, all the way to a complete rotation. At the same time, he struck forward, the sheer speed at which he attacked in a spiraling motion akin to a drill and as it would reach Moire’s head, it would tear, twist and rip the flesh, hopefully all the way through.

He pulled back following his attack, finally managing to clear his eyes.

“This should do the trick!”

He was glad he managed to properly pull off a technique from his clan. Now, he was hoping to get the timing right, at least.

It would have hit! Seriously! These damn sorcerers and their lifeforce techniques always ended up getting in the way. Deep down, he always knew his techniques were just a bunch of nonsense. This very situation proved it once again! Whenever he went for sheer strength he would get results, as opposed to when he’d try to put his clan techniques into practice.

In the end, she managed to slip away from his grasp, which did not help him hold his end of the promise made to Nero. And let’s not talk about his brave tale of defeating the malicious evil of the universe. At the very least, he would have to leave that part out. Around them, combatants had gone and left the premise, but the young man did not notice it immediately, unable to get a sense of the powers around him while being too focused on the task at hand. Even as Marimba and Mollusc came back, he did not pay attention to them.

To add insult to injury, that purple witch would taunt his valiant effort! “Big talk coming from a cheater. You don’t see me using magic techniques or flying in the air. If not for that your entire head would be mush!”

He knew he was right and whatever she would say about it would be objectively false. In terms of physical prowess, one could say he was unmatched! To prove it, he would charge right back, feinting a punch into a spinning kick aimed at her face. All that sweet momentum adding up to his strike in the hope of decapitating that head off once and for good!
