Shakuhachi
Biography
Biography
Beginning
Shakuhachi began his life like most of his kind: on Namek. From a young age he was disillusioned with the current hierarchy, and grew in and out of love with the responsibilities his clan placed on him. He understand the importance of many of them, but knew that they weren't for him. After enter adolescence he had a bad run in with the Mazoku clan, who imprisoned him for many years. After eventually escaping he had a newfound desire to change the ways things worked.
Things didn't start of well for him though. Many Namekians pushed back on his ideas, to which Shakuhachi accused them of being weak and ignorant. That didn't help things much, and after a battle with Cello, whom he had meet during a meeting between the various leaders of Namek, he decided to leave his home in search of people he could bring back to aid him in his goals. He knew now that he wanted to be the one to lead Namek into the future.
First Visit to Plant
Though the Saiyans often earned the ire of Shakuhachi, he had never actually visited their home world, or any world outside of Namek. What he knew of them came from others who brought news from the outside, but Shakuhachi wanted to see it first hand. He had been told by Tabor that the Saiyans were without a leader, and the Dragon clansman wanted to see for himself what the situation was like. He even briefly considered trying to align himself with the Saiyan leadership, but he quickly dismissed that idea.
One important event that took place was a conversation he had with a Saiyan child named Zuqetta. She taught him a lot about both the Saiyan people and their world. Though he hated to admit it the truth was that not all of his ideas on Saiyans were entirely correct, though he still harbored ill feeling surrounding the adults he encountered. He also had a not-so-friendly game of ping pong with the Android K414, which was an interesting experience.
Travelling to Earth
After leaving Plant his next stop would be Earth. There was a world martial arts tournament taking place, with many of the best fighters from all around the universe entering. Shakuhachi had considered entering himself, however he didn't want to get caught up in an event which could take too long; he needed to be ready to return to Namek at any time. There was also the fact that he could get gravely injured during the fights; even with killing disallowed there was always accidents.
He did stick around to watch a few of the fights though, and met with a Tuffle named Cheri who helped describe the situation on Plant and little better, as well as the way her people were involved. She was looking to recruit help for the fight, but Shakuhachi wasn't interested. She had good intentions, but Shakuhachi was confident in their ability to win. He had a few smaller encounters, such as with Erebos and an old Sensei, but nothing else notable.
Return to Plant
Before heading back to Namek, Shakuhachi took another visit to Plant; this proved much more interesting than before. During his conversation with Zuqetta she had brought up a few names such as Vennel and the Shredder Corps, and now Shakuhachi had the opportunity to meet a few of those involved himself. He fought a tough battle against Vennel and her friend Mayze, and even defeated the leader of the Shredder Corps: Vennel.
Coming Home
After that stop on Plant it was time to come home. He hadn't found help like he had wanted, but he had grown much stronger in his time away, and was ready take on the planet by himself. The first thing he did when arriving was marching on to the capital and declaring his intentions to lead Namek. Several fighters came to stop him, and he is currently in a battle against them all.
Namekian Confederation
At this time Shakuhachi also founded the Namekian Confederation, however at this time it has no members, and until Shakuhachi owns territory it won't function as much of anything.

Offensive
Light Offensive || Combat Strike
Shakuhachi has extensive training in martial arts, and uses this variety of punches, kicks, knees, elbows or slams during his battles.
- Power: 20%
- Cost: 1KP
- Variant: N/A
Light Offensive || Tsuyoiken
Shakuhachi has spent years practicing his hand to hand combat. This is a quick, strike based attack in which Shakuhachi lunges towards his opponent, both horizontally and vertically in order to get in the air. Once up there, he combines his own power output with momentum to slash his elbow on his opponents head like an axe chopping a log in half.
- Power: 40%
- Cost: 2KP
- Variant: N/A
Medium Offensive || Kuchi'kosen
Shakuhachi takes in several depth breaths; with each one ki is gathered from within and around him. The ki forms as a sphere inside of his mouth, which he then fires for devastating effect. The energy wave is thin; as it is fired the sphere itself dwindles in size until the attack is over. The attack is the same color as Shakuhachi's aura, a pale white, and it leaves scars within his mouth which he is forced to regenerate from later.
- Power: 70%
- Cost: 4KP
- Variant: N/A
Heavy Offensive || Bakuhatsu
Shakuhachi takes a wide stance and brings his two hands close together, in front of his chest. He channels Ki through his body and into a ball between the palms of his hands. When the energy is fully charged it can be fired at this foe; flying through the air like a Manta Ray with wide wings and a thin tail streak. In order to use his attack Shakuhachi typically has to stand stationary, as the impact of the firing is enough to throw him back if not dug into the ground.
- Power: 80%
- Cost: 6KP
- Variant: Overflowing
Heavy Sparking Offensive || Dragon Fist
The Dragon Clan isn't all priests and clerics. This technique technique reserved for the those few who show promise in the martial arts. The users focuses their Ki into this first, eventually coming to the point where the ki itself can no longer be contained and begins to overflow out of the body in the shape of a Dragon's maw. The user then propels their entire body at their opposition, lead by the fist.
- Power: 120%
- Cost: 6KP
- Variant: Piercing
Defensive
Light Defensive || Guard
The weakest defense that Shakuhachi has. In this scenario he throws his arms up at whatever the incoming attack is, in order to block what little he can.
Light Defensive || Hikari
Shakuhachi extends his arm out in front of him. From his hand he generates a light, but effective shield in an arc shape around his body.

- Power: 20%

- Variant: Shield
Light Defensive || Zanzoken
When faced with an opposition attack, Shakuhachi is able to channel his ki into his movement, resulting in speeds so fast that they appear to leave an image behind which often confuses the attacker, allowing him to avoid attack all together. Attacking these 'images' ends the effect.
- Power: 60%
- Cost: 2KP
- Variant: Evasive
Medium Defensive || Ancestor Spirit
Shakuhachi brings forth the power of not only himself but the Namekians who imbued their minds and memories into him throughout many generations of history; creating a wall of ki which follows his movements. The wall can be shifted to any side of him, or if needed can be shaped into a sphere which incapsulates him completely.
- Power: 50%
- Cost: 3KP
- Variant: N/A
Heavy Defensive || Super Zanzoken
An upgraded version of Shakuhachi's Zanzoken. Just like before, Shakuhachi moves so fast he leaves behind traces which confuse the attacker, however the speed is much greater, and the traces left behind much more convincing. Though greater in power it is also much greater in cost.
- Power: 100%
- Cost: 5KP
- Variant: Evasive
Support
Support || Betsu'no
The Tri-Multiform. After viewing Cello use a similar ability during an encounter with a Saiyan, Shakuhachi believes he has taken things one step further in his own development of the technique. Shakuhachi splits himself into three separate beings, each with 33% the power of the original.
Utility
Flight: Shakuhachi has mastered the ability to fly with his Ki.
Ki Sense: Shakuhachi mastered the ability to detect other power sources.
Ki Suppression: Shakuhachi has mastered the ability to manipulate his Ki output. Though he can not hide it, he can bring it down to as low as one or anywhere in between his max.
Magic Materialization: Most Namekians are skilled in the art of Magic Materialization, being able to create various objects out of nothing. Shakuhachi did not focus on this much in his youth but has began training it more in recent times.
Four Witches: Shakuhachi is able to split each arm into two, giving him four total. These are particularly useful in combat, but can be utilized in a number of situations.
Body Flexibility and Stretching: Shakuhachi's body and limbs are extremely flexible. He can elongate his arms, legs, neck and even torso at will; retaining complete motor function regardless of what size they get to.
Keen Hearing: Namekians have very powerful ears, and Shakuhachi is no exception. While this has the obvious benefit of increased hearing, it also means acute sounds such as whistling can be used like a weapon against him.

Relationships
Cello: A natural rival to Shakuhachi. He's apart of the Mazoku clan, and Shakuhachi first meet him at a meeting between several leading men of Namek. They've had several run ins since then, with a few of them ending in a battle Relationship will likely end in one killing the other.
Tabor: Tabor was also meet at the same meeting as Cello. Shakuhachi used Tabor to find the location of Cello where their first battle took place. Tabor turned on Shakuhachi and defended Cello, which was a betrayal in the eyes of the Dragon. When Shakuhachi returned to Namek, Tabor was one of the few who chose to fight against him.
Cambia: Only foreigner he doesn't automatically dislike, at least that's how it used to be. They had a few meetings where things went well between the two, however when Shakuhachi returned to Namek, Cambia also chose to fight against him. Another betrayal.
Pracross: Insulted him, tried to kill him. After that he left Namek and hasn't been seen since.
Tambo: Respects him, but feels that he isn't right to decide the future of Namek. Is more of a peaceful hand than his own, and with the creation of the Confederation, and Shakuhachi's intention of destroying the title of Guru, there is likely to be conflict here.
Yangcong: Left him for dead; doesn't care for. Even though they worked together for a short while, Shakuhachi decided he could earn more by leaving him. Yangcong will likely come after him, but Shakuhachi isn't afraid.
K414: Friendly rival. Might be more there in the future. Shared a friendly game of ping pong where Shakuhachi nearly killed him? Hard to say, but not someone automatically seen as an enemy.
Zuqetta: Saiyan girl he met on Plant. She taught Shakuhachi a lot about her people, and in doing so she turned his anger away from the species in general and more towards certain individuals.
Vennel: Saiyan Enemy. Fought with her on Plant. A tough bitch, but someone that Shakuhachi isn't afraid of. Would like to fight again.
Pitt: Saiyan Enemy. Fought with him on Plant and actually won. A strong fighter, but not strong enough in that situation.
Mayze: Ally of Vennel. Fought on Plant, and then again when Shakuhachi visited the palace.
