Back on Plant; just what was he thinking? He had left almost as quickly as he arrived, but his time on Earth was done and now he was back with more conviction than before. A lot happened while on Earth, not least of which was his meeting with the Tuffle, Cheri, where he had seen a bit more of the Saiyan-Tuffle conflict from a new perspective. Of course he had some idea of what the Tuffles were going through but he had never actually met with one before.
As much as he sympathized with her cause, he couldn't help but feel like she wasn't going in the right direction, not for herself or her people. He understood wanting to fight with 'morals' and 'ethics' but if your enemy had no regard for such things then they only served to hold you back. This was war, not a conversation; sometimes you had to break the rules a little to win. He couldn't see himself fighting under such restrictions, but that didn't mean he was simply ignoring the problem all together. The way he saw it he could still contribute to taking out the Saiyans in his own ways.
At this time he was traversing through a slum known as the Radditsu Distract; a squalor not to dissimilar to a few of the places he saw on Earth. It seemed as though Plant was like Earth, but with all the good cut away, though that didn't mean the people were all bad. His conversation with Zuqetta had done a bit to open his eyes to the Saiyans. His opinions on them had stayed the same for the most part; their warlike culture will always force them into conflict with those around them. But they weren't born like that; they were made that way by others, as evidenced by Zuqetta.
That's why he was here in the first place, to try and get a better understanding of the people he may soon be fighting against. It wasn't that his conviction was faltering; quite the opposite: his desire to take out those at the top had only grown. But being somewhat sheltered in his upbringing he did have to face the fact that his knowledge of other cultures was not as strong as he had believed. He wanted to spent a bit of time immersed among the people; attempting to understand who they were.
Would it change his ultimate decision? Maybe, maybe not. Though he believed that the outcome of this trip would end all the same he needed to give them the chance first. He came to a stop at a small stand, selling produce mainly. The woman behind the counter must have been as old as a Namekian Guru, and she seemed a bit frightened at the sight of him. Why did he keep going to places that didn't have Namekians? Anyway, he purchased an apple from her and took a seat on some stairs and observed the crowd for a little while. They had no idea what sort of war was about to be upon them.
