Tsaoko's PL: 5,000
Items: none
In the days leading up to the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai, the many fighters that had assembled were preparing the the imminent tournament. Each prepared in their own way, with some sparring together, and others training alone or meditating. Most were very focused in their endeavors, eager to win the fights and claim the title of "strongest under the heavens."
And then there was Tsaoko, who was ordering a corndog.
They were absolutely planning on training, really! Maybe with Erebos, or his friend that they've heard so much about. That could wait until later, though. There were still four or five days until the preliminaries began, so there was plenty of time to get some training in. In the meantime, Tsaoko wanted to check out all the food vendors that had set up shop around the Budokai grounds. The foods here were so different than in the Demon Realm, and it interested the stone demon more than the fighting, if they were being honest. The cart they were at now, for example. It claimed to sell "corn dogs", but seemed nothing like the plant they'd seen growing out east, nor the annoying barking animals. It just looked like breaded meat on a stick. There had to be more to it than that! So Tsaoko had to buy one and see for themselves.
"That'll be 300 zeni." Said the vendor, in a voice that had clearly said the same thing two dozen times today already. Tsaoko was prepared for this! Erebos had magicked up some money for them before they'd parted ways. They weren't really sure how the denominations of the bills worked, so they just shoved some at the vendor before walking away, corndog in hand. They'd barely gotten three steps before the man was barking at them again.
"Hey, what're you tryna pull here? Can't even be arsed to pay for street food? This zeni is fake!"
Tsaoko turned and blinked in surprise. How could it be fake? Erebos made it, they watched him do it! Explaining 'my demon buddy made this out of shadow magic' probably wouldn't go over well with a simple human, though. Tsaoko stood there for another couple seconds, the vendor glaring holes into their skull and making them increasingly uncomfortable. Panicking, they did the first thing that came to mind.
They lifted the corndog cart up and flipped it over.
