Character Archive Reversal

It's quite easy to make mistakes in the heat of the moment or to give up on a character that you later regret shelving, and while past precedent has always been that archival is permanent... that has changed. That's right! We're offering a limited system of un-archival that will permit you to bring back previously shelved characters with some stipulations.

As long as your character hasn't had their profile deleted, they are eligible to be brought back. This can only be done ONCE per character, meaning if you end up archiving them again in the future, they are gone for good. With that in mind, the unsealed character will also be treated like a NEW application, despite retaining the same general story and appearance. 

You must stick to their original species* and core traits choices. You may change techs, optional traits, and general traits as you see fit. Changes to appearance are allowed with minimal justification so long as it's in line with the site theme and rules. Your backstory is expected to be in line with the character's previous approval.  

*Non Oni or Android characters may return as Cyborg or Ghosts with no further XP loss, provided they died beforehand.

Additionally, they will start with the BASE XP instead of whatever they had before. Unsealed characters ARE eligible to receive transfers and NG+ if you wish to do so.

Unsealed Characters may also be used as Companions, provided all regular rules are followed.

Excluding unique circumstances detailed in the 8.0 Patch Notes, in order to reverse your archive you must post below on the account of the archived character with a tally of their IC posts. This is so staff can double check eligibility AND serve as a tracker for future reference.
