CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE:
•He's got an imposing figure, reaching 6'5" in height. He has an equally large build, cultivated by years of discipline and training.
•Has thick black hair tied into a messy ponytail.
•Has soft facial traits, generally appearing as a good, smiling individual.
•Wears a black gi with a red sash, with an open kimono showing the kanji of the Crane School on the back.
•Thanks to a poor genetic makeup, he inherited a tail reminiscent of a Saiyan's despite being an Earthling. Mistaken for one at first, the poor boy got severely bullied for it, which lead to his tail being partly ripped off in an unfortunate brawl.
BACKGROUND: Born from parents of different species, Wryce inherited mostly human genetics, aside from a single particularity. Although Earthling genes made for roughly eighty percent of his being, the boy also sported a tail, a reminder of his mixed heritage. Although his father who was part Saiyan from a few generations ago did not sport the signature Saiyan tail, Wryce somehow managed to get it through some twist of fate. While this particularity was not frowned upon -in fact, the uniqueness of it seemed to please both parents-, it came with the disadvantage of being a weak spot and, thankfully, nothing else.
While not an issue in itself, it did -as his parents expected- draw attention. With the myriad of different races now populating the planet, he was quickly mistaken for someone of the Saiyan race. As much as he tried to dismiss it and claim his true Earthling roots, it was a tough sell, given the appendage hanging just above his butt. Through some kid logic, that tail was a clear sign of his true origins as a member of the warrior race. And, to other kids born in similar cultures, he quickly became a rival... or a threat to get rid of. With a rapid downward spiral, he transitioned into the role of a victim, one that would get relentlessly beaten for the single fact that he could not fight back.
Measures were taken to limit or avoid such treatments, his reputation as a victim was carried over from place to place, from region to region, and followed him wherever he went. Perhaps it was because of the look in his eyes, perhaps it was because he always got back up and did not retaliate, but the abuse continued. One particular encounter in his teenage years marked the beginning of his change into a fighter. A savage brawl had left him bleeding out, his tail had become a mangled mess and was ripped off for about half of its length. It was the gesture of a stranger that saved him, after feeding him a rather strange medicine in the form of a green bean. The old man, named Kuren, presented himself as a martial arts master, the kind that almost looked like a fraud at first. As he asked the young Wryce why he was picked on in such a cruel manner, the senior man found himself surprised and strangely moved to see that despite all of the horrible story the teen told him, his spirit had not flagged at all. What would be horrible and unexplainable violence to others had just become commonplace for Wryce, and it had become something he had to pull through while holding on to the firm belief that someday, he'd see the end of it.
It was that conviction that made Kuren choose Wryce as his student, making him the next in line to learn the ways of the Crane School. From that point on, Wryce's life changed completely. Notions of energy dwelling within him -or ki-, were introduced at the same time as physical training. Rapidly, noticeable changes within the adolescent became manifest. From a frail kid, he would grow to be strong, showing natural potential for energy manipulation and martial arts alike. Despite reaching power far beyond all those who wished ill upon him, his strength only helped preserve this gentle heart of his, as well as ensuring no same fate would happen to others if he could help it. Carrying on the mantras and the teachings of the Crane School, Wryce continued his journey of self-improvement, rising far beyond the limitations of his race and showing that a strong spirit is just as powerful as anything else.

Light Attack || KiaiADDITIONAL NOTES: I'd like for his x2 to be renamed as Fighting Spirit
Wryce gathers ki in his hand, then with a punching motion, he can send the air towards his opponent, causing a shockwave that hits them.
Power: 20 %
KP Cost: 1 KP
Variants: N/A
Medium Attack || Kikoho
One of the signature techniques of the Crane School, as well as the one he favors. Joining his hands together to form a rough diamond shape with his hands, Wryce then shoots out a destructive beam of energy from his hand. Though this technique drains life energy as well as his ki, he has shown to possess a large amount of it, minimizing the recoil he suffers.
Power: 70%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: N/A
Light Defensive || Warp
Moving at incredible speed, Wryce warps around in order to avoid or close the distance with his opponent.
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: Evasive
Light Sparking || Super Dodonbeam
Wryce's version of the Super Dodonpa. Opting for firepower rather than speed, Wryce focuses his ki at his fingertips and closes his hand, merging the ki into a single, bigger sphere. Then he holds his wrist with his other hand and concentrates the energy further, then shoots it in the form of a pale blue beam of pure energy.
Power: 70%
KP Cost: 1 KP
Variants: N/A
Utility Technique || Sky Dance
A technique that is staple of the Crane School teachings. Through manipulation of his ki, Wryce is able to fly. He has mastered this technique to such an extent that he can use it almost subconsciously and exerts minimal effort when performing it.
Utility Technique || Ki Sense
Through focusing his energy, Wryce can sense other energy signatures nearby and have a rough estimate of their strength.
