I might've bit more than I could chew when making this character. I still do like the idea behind him, but I can't feasibly do it in a way that feels satisfactory, especially when there are so many good characters doing the things I designed him to do, perhaps even better than I could've done it myself!
It's been a long time coming, I think. Thanks to everyone who's ever helped me when I've felt down about Amara. Who gave glowing praise and undying love to this messy, headache of a character that I couldn't bear to let go for the longest time. To Dion, who I apologize to for this specifically.
Amara was the first approved PC on Sparking. I find that neat. Years later and we've grown, evolved, changed. Familiar and unfamiliar faces. Thanks for sticking with me through her ups and downs, grinds and burnouts, sensical and nonsensical plots.
Canon-wise, I think Amara is just eager to give up the spotlight. Settle down quietly, to make sure she doesn't repeat the grievous mistakes she has already. Dion has my full permission (if this allowed via site rules) to mention/have her in the background of things here and there. The last thing I want to rip her from reality as if she never existed at all.
Amara was important for me. To me. Unlike my other accounts which usually get deleted to clear up clutter in log-in, Amara's account will be staying. Cheers, and lets hope I can continue putting out characters that you all enjoy!
