BACKGROUND: Monci was born in the midst of the war opposing Saiyan and Tuffles. Son of a brilliant scientist, he spent most of his early life feeling the fear of the invader, the Saiyan threat always looming in the distance. While he was also sheltered away from the horrors of the war, anti-Saiyan propaganda was everywhere and soon, they took root in the mind of the young Tuffle. Stories of goliaths made of pure hatred running down cities, unspeakable crimes committed for their own deranged pleasure and other tales of dubious origin began to run rampant among the population. True or false, they were presentend as facts and sometimes with evidence to boot, it wasn't too long before the will to rebel fully bloomed.

Monci's father, Cala, was a leading scientist working on the Destron project, said to be a weapon so grand it would end the war in an instant. Grand it was, perhaps even a little too much. While it dealt a grievous blow to saiyan forces, it only accentuated the Saiyan anger and their combativeness. Extended usage of Destron would jeopardize the ecosystem of Plant and as such, it was decided they would put it away, for good.

This failure echoed throughout Monci's household and forced Cala into a depression, the height of his intellectual prowess and of his peers not proving enough to counterattack the threat of the forces of nature that were Saiyans. Upon that realization, the patriarch gave up and resigned himself to fate, but Monci chose to go against the current, once more. He followed the path of the scientist throughout his student years, participated in the war effort by helping work on various technologies. In his free time, he lead his own private research (without being peer-reviewed) on his father's Magnum Opus. Destron had been a direct response to the invasion and little had been done to fully test and optimize the gas given the urgency they faced. For the better part of a decade, Monci worked to refine and optimize it, turning it into a more stable product with longer shelf-life and shorter half-life at the cost of it being less potent. All in all, it was "safer" for the environment and its stability meant it could be applied to various technologies, making it a more versatile weapon. The problem in all of that? It was very much illegal and would never see use in modern combat tactics.

But it didn't bother him. The idea was to follow in his father's footsteps and help him realize the potential of his invention. After all, he had inherited Cala's ingenuity. Unfortunately, Monci would never get to show his father his breakthrough as the patriarch of the family perished of natural causes during the period following the previous chancellor and the Saiyan monarch. During this time, he kept working in various scientific environments, help design various weaponry and tools for the Tuffle to use against the Saiyans.

As tensions began rising again, the Tuffles were found to be the losers of this war. These Saiyans, these vicious raiders that had encroached on their planet to remove its population and claim it as theirs, had won. Now, they had the gall to blame Tuffles for defending themselves? It would not be tolerated, it couldn't. If no one would stand for the future of the Tuffles, then he would rise to the occasion.

Of course, he had to play it smart. He knew he couldn't rid the planet of its new occupants and trying to do so would only result in far more troubles. But he would not concede anything else and if the chance presented itself, he would try and seize back their rightful territory. While he had none of the military might of fighters and warriors, he had the science to make up for it and the better part of his life working and gathering knowledge on different technologies to add to his arsenal.

Monci can form a wall of hardlight before him thanks to his suit, tanking damage before shattering.

A technology originally intended for attaining warp speed with spaceships, Monci repurposed it so that his exosuit and his body can sustain it. It gives Monci a sudden outburst of speed, leaving a red trail of light in its path. He can use it to evade incoming attacks.

Heavy Offensive || Destron Slash
An attack made with a bladed weapon coated in liquid destron. This liquid variant corrodes the flesh upon contact and attacks the nerves, enhancing the sensation of pain.

An attack made with a railgun. It shoots a beam of energy at the target.

Heavy Offensive Sparking || Scorched Earth
Monci commands his low-altitude satellite to launch a cell of condensed destron down towards his opponent. Upon impact, the cell explodes, filling the area with the noxious fumes of Destron gas. This variant is less toxic, but sticks to the throat and burns the victim, affecting their nervous system. The gas desecrates the land around, hurting all living beings within its vicinity as well.

Utility Technique || Exosuit MK.I
An exoskeleton covering Monci's body and allowing him to fight on even grounds with others despite his frail disposition. It is equipped with weapons and a powerful computer capable of running simulations and calculations in the midst of a fight. It can also sense energy emanating from others.

Utility Technique || Supraconducting boots
Monci can levitate off the ground and move at fast speed.
