Welcome to the 25th Tenkaichi Budōkai!
Do YOU believe that YOU have what it takes to win? That none in the world, nay, none in the GALAXY could hope to stand up to your might? That YOU are the most powerful warrior under the heavens? Then why don't you come and PROVE it?
Do YOU believe that YOU have what it takes to win? That none in the world, nay, none in the GALAXY could hope to stand up to your might? That YOU are the most powerful warrior under the heavens? Then why don't you come and PROVE it?
The Tenkaichi Budōkai is the largest tournament on Earth, hosted every three years at the tournament grounds on Papaya Island, and is making its grand return next month! Many will enter, but only one will stand victorious after the final round has come and gone. Will that be you? That all depends on your might! Signups will be taking place in this very thread, but there are some rules and regulations that we'd like to go over first, so you can be sure that this tournament is for you!
Additionally, we're sure you wonderful warriors of the galaxy are curious about what's in it for those of you who prove yourselves among the strongest! Well, never fear, as prizes are quite substantial for this tournament, and are as follows:
- As many characters may enter as are willing to, but each player can only enter one character. The final stage matches will be conducted separately after the top 16 have been determined, and preliminary matches will be conducted to determine these top 16.
- The tournament will require all replies to be delivered within 48 hours of the previous post. If no reply is given in that time, the last person to reply will automatically be declared the winner, barring extenuating circumstances allowing for an extension.
- All bouts will be under a 7 day time limit. If no one is knocked out by then, whoever has taken the least damage will be declared the winner. In the event of an exact tie, players will guess a number between one and ten, and the closest will win.
- Zeni items and consumable XP items may not be used during this tournament. However, XP items not consumed on use, such as battle armor or blood rubies, are allowed. Scouters may be used as the one exception to no Zeni items.
- There are no restrictions on power or forms to this tournament! As we intend to determine the strongest under the heavens, any and all means of increasing one's battle power are welcome!
- Lastly, no flying allowed! Characters may be defeated by and are encouraged to try to defeat opponents (or be defeated) by ringout, so flying is absolutely cheating!

Signups will be available for five days, with preliminary brackets being revealed and preliminary rounds beginning shortly afterwards! Additionally, an opening ceremony may be hosted by Yangcong , a proud sponsor of the event! To enter your character, simply state your intention for them to join below. And remember, even if your chances of winning may be low, the opportunities to build your character and advance their plots are quite massive! Preliminary brackets will be announced on April 9th, and fights will start on April 10th!
