Venturing through the stars, Gandigan found himself on the hunt once more. Not since he had been taken over by Amon had he felt this primal urge; this need to kill. But it wasn't to feast this time; now he hunted to protect his people. The Mazoku King had been unable to find Lottus on Plant, and so he was forced to look elsewhere. With such a massive power level and the taste for wanton violence he didn't expect it would take too long to find him.
Gandigan's next major stop had been Earth, but he made sure to keep his senses up as he passed by the minor planets. Occasionally he made pitstops as well, picking up fuel and supplies to ease the journey along. Each time he tried to ask the locals if they had seen or heard of Lottus, but most hadn't. As destruction as the Saiyan was, the universe was still a massive place and thankfully a few sectors had been free from his grasp.
The Namekian was half-asleep as the wheel when a bright light him back to life. Looking out the window he was shocked to see that his ship was on a collision course with a nearby star. "What?" Had the autopilot failed him? The Namekian rushed over to the control panel to try and figure out what had happened, as he had charted a stop on the small planet of Orion for more fuel. He run the numbers several times, trying to decipher where he had been knocked off course.
But each time he found the same answer: he hadn't been. To his horror it was the planet of Orion that was in front of him; once a world of lush greens and a peaceful people was now aflame. "What happened here? Damnit!" Whether he wanted to or not Gandigan had to land and figure out what was going on. The Namekian was running low on supplies now, and Orion was supposed to be his final pitstop before the final stretch to Earth.
Gandigan ignored the warning from his ship's sensors and pushed on forward. The closer he got to the planet, the more the destruction become apparent. Through the carnage he was able to spot a large patch of land which would be safe to land, taking his pod down and immediately exiting.
The air was thick and smelled of death, and around him lay a land consumed by fire. According to his map there should have been a fairly large village just ahead, through he wasn't sure what to expect. Gandigan flew straight ahead, dodging pillars of magma and the collapsing landscape to find what he had feared: slaughter. The people's bodies lay strewn about the land, their homes had been reduced to rubble, and ahead of him stood a familiar power.
