The Black Day [CARNAGE]

There was something strange about the girl. Nasu could see now that he was recovering that she did not actually speak those self same words, of course having been through that kind of experience, he knew almost immediately after what was going on.

“Another entity. I am tired of your kind. At least Tsuya had the guts to face me with her own body and face, you resort to using a young lady’s body to communicate and commit these violent deeds for what purpose? Nay. I doubt you have any interest in this planet’s fate. Otherwise you would have joined earlier. You are just here to cause trouble. You disgust me.”

He actually missed Tsuya now. Nasu was having some semblance of fun with their duel, however this had to go ahead and become a mess. At least he had some friends to call upon, but there was still no room for rest and instead the man returned his gaze onward, onto the rest, seeing a familiar aura come out of Lottus. Not again.

“Keep your wits, boy. Think of the people you love and resist that aura. You are stronger than being another’s pawn. If you strike Lottus directly, you will be susceptible to an insane aura. Keep that in mind.”

Nasu would speak in Russ’ mind, last time it worked with Cheri, but he could not quite give a guarantee himself, instead he focused on Marrow shortly after.

“What mortal enemy?”

He was quite confused. He did not think she meant Lottus. Both of them were Saiyans, of course both were blonde. Besides he did not see Lottus that way, his own mortal enemy was himself, an opponent he had already defeated. Nasu sighed and brought his sword up in the air before his body shone and his aura slowly became wilder, much like a flame, he continued channeling his power.

“These people’s home worlds are safe. There are countless people left to protect them. This villainy is meaningless. If you leave now, I will not keep you. I have no desire to hurt that poor girl, but if you leave me no other choice, then I will do what I must.”

Nasu did try to at least keep the younger Saiyan’s wits up, but he did not seem either to figure it out or manage. Sadly there was not much he could do about it himself, neither did Nasu blame him, in the end the man had been victim to some kind of possession himself. The man believed there was some potential to perhaps try and understand a way one could completely prevent these situations, but it was neither the time nor place.

Aside from nearly getting stabbed, in the end Zhalla had been pretty much been keeping tabs with this newcomer, he was not sure exactly to what extent the two would go but given the man did not have any real connection with the true Marrow, he doubted he could do anything better than what Zhalla could achieve, she could definitely handle it on her own. To be fair, there was hardly little of a thing he could do to make either Marrow or Russ snap out of it, one thing he could do was simply to try and end things as quickly as possible.

“Some things never change.”

He lamented, when the man kept the grip upon the hilt of his sword and strengthened such grip, almost as if a surge of strength came through his being. From the deepest darkness, the greatest light could be born, sentiments of fury and anger that were inherently birthed from love evaporated from his individual only to release an enigmatic, white flicker from his silhouette. The anger, the hate, all of it was incredibly pure and focused.

Every bit of power eventually cemented itself in his own sword. Could Nasu give some theatrical speech, or condemn Lottus for using Russ like that? Probably. Did he feel like it? Not really, he was tired. He lifted the deadly slab up in the heavens before he launched himself over to Lottus, in the attempt to swing it down upon him.

The man launched himself at Lottus with all intent to harm him, but while he descended, he was met by one of the newcomers that had arrived here earlier. Nasu was not quite pleased of course, but by all means, he did not expect it to actually work either. Instead this gave plenty of room to others to do the rest, oftentimes this was also part of duty, meanwhile he did not do anything quite spectacular if not just damage Marrow a little bit. And likewise the man was struck back by the pain which drove him a fair distance away, with his features visible in pain and confused for a short while.

How the hell did paint do something was a wonder until he figured out the one answer he knew; magic. It was always magic this and magic that, not a critique rather the harsh reality being a wielder of magic himself. However, the pain… did not last long. He did not have anything to meld his own wounds or anything, but rather, it faded into the background, while the smell of his own blood grew intoxicating. This was also part of his own legacy, he had to likely embrace it and simply keep fighting.

He had always felt something similar during longer fights, but never did he pay it that much attention like now that he knew plenty more about the Saiyans of the past. Now the man had to only try and understand how he could reconcile with such feelings but to his own benefit without the risk of losing control.

Thus the man marched through the remains of the paint, seemingly unmoved and unwilling to stop here. Despite the effects of the attack that was visible yet on his flesh, he did not seem bothered by it.

“Support…? Is that how you view yourself? How demeaning.”
