Mollusc would sit and meditated alone in a Cavern out in the Plait. He had been doing this for five years. To focused his power inward and control his emotional state. He had found a cavern that was near a source of water so he could drink the water so he didn't need to leave the cavern at all. Five years of solitude could do quite alot to the mind. It had not done a lot of good for him. He was still an angry and bitter Namekian. Sitting alone in the darkness looking for some form of solace. A way to find peace over his mistake. His bitter attitude that had cost the life of an innocent Namekian warrior.
But, this day was different. Today, he had decided to head out from his cave. Yes, he needed some form light. He usually went out every few months at most. To see if he was doing any better. Usually it ended with him running into some Mazoku warrior, trying to talk to them before getting angry and beating them down to near death. While many of them were hostile to him in the first place. But it didn't matter, he needed to find peace. To find what made him whole. The Namekian as he had been in five years ago was untammed and arrogant man. He was still untammed if maybe a bit less arrogant. Stepping out of the cavern he'd step down to a small folliage of forest among the ruinous moutains. Some animals darted around as he sensed outward to see if anyone was around. He be hoping to avoid that sort of trouble.
The Outer Plait was the home to the majority of the Mazoku population on Namek, and had been where Gandigan had spent most of his time. He didn't have much in the way of family or friends that he knew about, and so the next best thing was being around those who somewhat looked like he did. His form had been mutated by the mages on Kashvar, yet many of the other Mazoku he saw did still look similar to him despite their different origins.
Of course he didn't really speak to them, and in fact he did his best to avoid them. He was still coming to terms with who and what he was, and he wasn't really sure how the others would feel about it. Slowly he was moving out to approach the others of his kind, but he was more than happy being patient in that endeavor.
He was currently in search of something to eat, though he wanted to avoid dining on a fellow Namekian today. His stomach reviled in the thought of that despite what his tongue desired; he'd settle for one of the smaller animals on the planet. A nearby forest seemed to hold some life from what he could sense, though as he moved closer he detected a much greater power, quite similar to his own though a tad weaker overall.
It wasn't a power that he had ever sensed before, and so he felt unsure on how to approach the situation. It wasn't totally uncommon for lone Namekians to roam these parts, and Gandigan had taken advantage of that in the past. He had told himself he wouldn't feast on another Namekian so soon... but if one was going to present itself then that was a hard opportunity to pass up. He figured he should at least check this Namekian out before deciding.
He walked into view of the other Namekian and called out to get his attention, and tried to initiate a bit of small talk. "You there! Could you help me out? I'm not too familiar with this area and I think I'm a little lost."

The way Usumi's portals tended to go was focusing on the tainted, the malicious, and the cruel. Most planets had this in abundance, from lowly street rats of Earth to the vicious warriors surrounding Plant. All had their own shadows. Namek... had an oddly spiritually pure core across much of the planet. Sure, he could just... Port straight into a populated place. But he'd be so blindingly sending a beacon to the entire planet to curb stomp him. In his current condition? Maybe not a good idea. No, instead, the small possessive demon would have the other end of their portal end up in the darker bit of the planet.
The Scar had some nasty history and some nasty natives. It would suit her well enough.
"Kinda reminds me of Hell. And a little bit of home." She muttered to herself as she stayed knelt near some rocks that this cliffside had slowly rolled over the ages. Red beady eyes scan while their senses hone in on the closest sentience around her. Two. Pretty close to one another. They were a good deal isolated from the rest of the North. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to pick some information from them. And then? Well, at their strength it wouldn't be much of a challenge. But Usumi needed to conserve themselves anyways. He could play below his full power.
"Oh! Could you help me too!?" Neither probably noticed, or didn't bother to check the above portion of this cave opening. Because there was suddenly a knelt human-looking figure holding a big blade sword in one hand over the shoulder and grinning with some sharp canines. In all honesty she just shifted herself on over with her shadow step. She held no presence of her own, no Kili to measure. Her small stature and raspy voice threw off more edge than she was probably hoping for.
"I'm also a lost little foreigner! Could you point me to the nearest Dragon Clan village?" Yeah, only bad things could come with the way she asked for specifics like that.

Mollusc would sense someone coming his way. And they were strong. Even stronger then himself In the past few months that had become more common. While he never meet any people, he had sinced them every once in a while. This must be one of those many people on Namek who was very strong. He would turn to face Gandigan who asked him for some information. “Hmm, I don’t know a lot about this area. I mostly rest in that cave over there.” Mollusc pointed to the cave he had meditated in for the past five years. Mollusc rested in an awkward silence unsure what else to say. He sorta hoped that maybe Gandigan would up and vanish.
However, just as he thought of that possible hope, someone else arrived. She was some outsider looking for the Dragon Village. Mollusc narrowed his eyes. “And why would you want to do that Outsider?” Mollusc didn’t trust anyone outside of Namek. He had a lot of pride for the Namekian people as a whole. So this person looking around for a village, he not be so privy to just answer. In the case of both Gadigan and Grisleda he was being as stubborn as humanly possible. If there was one thing he had learned over the past few years was to be quiet. Not to say too much and allow one emotion to carefully guide them. They had to be controlled. Griselda’s question already opened him up to a wide variety of emotion that would be difficult to fully control.

His fellow Namekian stonewalled him pretty hard. Gandigan got the sense that he wasn't very friendly, which was common among many of the Namekians who choose to live alone. It wasn't the first time he had run into someone like this; for some reason they seemed to believe that not talking or socializing was healthy in some way. Of course he wasn't too dissimilar in his own actions, though he avoided contact with others for very different reasons.
When Mollusc pointed out to his cave, which was apparently where he choose to live, Gandigan noticed the other one. She looked vaguely Konatsian, which was the only other species outside of the Kashvar and Namekian that he had experience with, though he was smart enough to see the differences as well. Whatever she was, she was also packing heat; the sword in her hands didn't go unnoticed.
"A traveler? Around here? I wonder how you ended up in the Scar. Not many outsiders choose to come here of their own free will." The request for directions to the nearest Dragon Clan settlement felt odd. Was she in need of healing? If she had ended up in the Scar due to a crash landing then that would make sense, though he didn't notice any immediate wounds on her, and on top of that her demeanor seemed a bit too... cheery for someone worried about their health.
If her intentions were more sinister than that then Gandigan had little reason to get in her way on a personal level. He had no friends or allies to speak of among their ranks, and in fact a few dead Namekians wouldn't be so bad as long as she let him take the meat from their bones. With that being said he wasn't about to up and trust a stranger with that sort of deal though. "I must back my fellow Namekian on this one: What business do you have with the Dragons?"

Ahh, so they were going to be those guys. Usumi only seemed to smile as the pair turned and gave her roughly the same lines with the same insinuation. Why, of course, she didn't care if she had to hurt some of these people, but talking it through with some quick wit might get her what she wants. She stands from her kneeling just above the cave entrance and shrugs.
"No, of course! I get it. There are a lot of dangerous people out there. Can't go sharing everything willy-nilly, it makes sense! Just -" She'd hop down next to them as she spoke, holding her blade down so as to not threaten either of them just yet. Her other hand puts a hand over her chest as she gestures to herself.
"- Hear me out. I may not look it, but I'm a bit ill. Something that my own means cannot fix. A curse of sorts, slowly threatening my very soul. I was told by some very reputable people that the priests and healers of this planet might be able to solve it for me! I don't have a lot of time, so I came in a hurry if my jank placement means anything to you." Ironically, this was only half a lie, buried in the truth about their visit. It was actually one of the best ways to lie, and with usumi it came naturally. They usually brute force their way into things but this may prove a faster option than his usual methods.
"Just an ounce of pity would go a long way. I know I'm an outsider, but please!" Okay, they were tapping a bit more into Griselda there. Funny, that.
Mollusc glanced at Gandigan seemed to agree with him about Usumi. That something was at least a bit off. He gave a nod to Gandigan. They were in agreement on that matter. Lips were gonna remained sealed for the moment. Usumi however was willing to explain what she wanted. She may of not looked Ill but apparntly she was very sick. Some sort of curse apparently that was making her sick. It was not something he could to be truth or lie. He could not sense magic. As she said, the healers of this planet could help her become cured of this curse. She just needed to find them and she didn’t have a lot of time.
After listening to what she had to say Mollusc stared in deep thought. He was not exactly sure what he should do or say. He would glance at Gandigan. “I cannot confirm if she is telling the truth or not. I’ll defer to you on this matter since you seem to be around here. I’ll back up your decision on the matter.” Gandigan hopefully had a better idea of what to think of Usumi’s words. Plus, Mollusc didn’t wanna have to make the call. He honestly rather just head back into his cave. Even if this woman was going to die if she didn’t get help. Because, he was not hundred percent confident she was telling the truth. No, something still felt off. If someone needed a cure for a curse, how exactly did they get that sort of curse? He didn’t ask because it was not their business but he had a feeling there was a reason, and it was not a good one.

Of course she played the part of damsel in distress. Apparently there was an injury, though not of a physical kind. There was some sort of curse within her, that was a threat to the soul. The story reminded of him of something he had heard back on Konats; an old Kashvar legend about trapping beasts within the Konatsian people. With that sword in hand it made him ponder if he had been wrong about dismissing her as a Konatsian.
Determining whether or not she really was cured was impossible for Gandigan to do. He was certainly no healer, and even if he had been in a past life those memories were gone. So, was he to trust her or not? If trouble was to break out he'd at least have the aid of Mollusc, or so it would seem. His power was near enough to his own, and although he was unable to sense the power of the woman knew that two against one favored them.
But on the other hand if she were to be telling the truth then his curse may spread to others, including himself. If the healers of the Dragon Clan were able to rid her of this curse then he'd be protecting himself as well. With that in mind his mind was made. "Well, I suppose if your story is true then we're all in danger. Their job is to heal; doesn't seem right to turn someone away... but, you wouldn't mind handing over that blade, would you? I think it'd make both of us feel more comfortable before continuing."
She wasn't holding the blade as prominently as before, but that didn't mean it had left his mind. Leading an armed stranger back to the main population seemed like a very bad idea; something he wanted to avoid. "If you are just here to be healed then you won't be needing it anyway, right?"

The demon would look between the pair as they deliberated, her free hand turned and faced around from her while she checked her nails. Mollusc forever the skeptic laid the whole of the situation firmly onto this other guy, who seemed reluctant but willing to cooperate with her. Just, with a simple condition. Her sword. Usumi looks back at him and smiles. Holding back a more shit-eating grin as it would probably give the game away. The demon didn't really fear losing its sword; The sword itself was bound to her, and she could recall it whenever. Remake it if need be. It is but a copy of the real deal that lay within Griselda.
"That sounds fair to me. Wouldn't want either of you to feel uncomfortable." The small human would step up to the somehow still taller Namekian and widen her smile, turning the blade in her hand as to hold it near the guard and offer its two-handed handled to the man. She figured tossing it probably wasn't the best course, and she was curious how he'd take the sword. A sword that was... supernaturally unblemished. If it weren't for the fact she held it like a weapon and it was as sharp as a newly forged blade you'd figure it ornamental in nature.
She'd pat her clawed hands down and put them to the side, now looking between them both expectantly.
"See? Now that you can trust me with this, we must hurry. I can't help but think I have a day left if that." It was uncharacteristic of her to work amicably with mortals, but she doubts this will reach the absolute conclusion she wants without one of them getting suspicious. It was to be seen as beneficial to her right now, to be cast away if they don't comply.
Mollusc nodded at Gandigan. If he was willing to bring them to a village he supposed he would agree to that. Both of them were Namekians and they should stick together in these sort of situations. However Gandigan wanted to take her blade away. He gave a nod, seems that be reasonable. She was an outsider, and from what he knew outsiders were nothing but trouble. Taking her blade away until she could be trusted would be wise. She would hand her blade over to Gandigan. The blade was quite the odd weapon, he had never see anything like it. It gave him an important thought. “Is the sword what cursed you? It is quite the odd weapon?” He couldn’t not tell if it was magically but he rather not have Gandigan get cursed by the weapon. They had just meet but he knew it was the right thing to be curious about. She had said she had been cursed but she had not said how she had been cursed.
Either way, they did need to get her to a healer. So even if taht was the weapon that was cursed, they just would be careful not to touch it for too long or have the healers deal with it. Either way he began to float ready to lead her towards where the village was. Though he’d give Gandigan the lead where to go. He probably knew where the closest village was. He had not been out of his cave for five years so he was not exactly sure where the closest village would be now.

Gandigan was a little taken aback at how comfortable the woman was with giving up her sword. He expected some degree of protest, but she instead eagerly handed over the blade. The sword itself was immaculate; though he was no weapon smith he could still tell that a great degree of effort had been put into it's creature. The Namekian firmly grasped the blade, examining it one more time before notching it onto his belt.
Mollusc questioned whether or not it had been the sword that cursed the woman, which was something that Gandigan hadn't even considered. Was this some sort of ploy by her? Was this why she had been so quick to give the sword up? He didn't... feel any different with the blade on him, though he would have to keep that in mind.
"Well, you've given up your blade as requested, so I suppose all that's left is to take you to the Dragons, although..." Gandigan paused, before giving the woman a smile. "I think we needn't bother with going all the way to a village. In the Scar you'll find no such congregations I'm afraid. Luckily I do know of a single Dragon hermit who lives in these parts. He's old, but wise; I expect that anything you could find in a village will be provided by him."
Gandigan spun around and pointed out away from the cave. "If you'll follow me..."

The blade had heft, but it wasn't much else other than supernatural in construction. No attempts to possess the demon or any other lingering presence were within it as Gandigan held onto it. Red eyes watched as he gave it a cursory look over and placed it on a belt. She didn't seem to make a note of that too much, just waving away instead at Mollusc's suggestion. He too was curious about its make.
"It is merely a family heirloom. Forged in a time before even the Kais above had a total grip on their universe. Or so that's what they say. Anything to make it sound fancy and unique, huh?" She offered up an explanation that, in all honesty, was the most truthful thing she's said since coming here. It did just sound like a farfetched story one pompous noble family would tell their kids after all. She gave a toothy little grin at her own words and threw her arms behind her head and started off. Almost taking lead herself aimlessly before stopping next to Gandigan. Her eyes darting back up at him with a moment of apprehension before she squinted.
"I.... Do not need a simple hermit. I don't think a simple hermit is... Qualified." Usumi did not like having to stop and explain herself in such a roundabout way. She, of course, couldn't play off denying a simple dragon clan namekian as her real goal WAS to find a village more numerous. There was little way she was parsing that past these two skeptics easily though. She could make this a lot easier if she just...
No, she couldn't tempt fate with the other half again by being so aggressive. Or waste time powering up. She had to hope they would understand her reservation under anything other than suspicion.
Mollusc nodded as Usumi explained it was just a family heirloom, but it was very old. Apparently older then something called Kai’s. “What the hell is a Kai.” Mollusc was not knowledge about anything really outside of Namek. So this Kai nonsense was quite confusing. In fact it made them even more suspect of Usumi. Lucky, something else took his focus which was Gandigan suggesting that they take her to a hermit instead. That should be more then enough to help her. The scar didn’t have a healer in the area. Which made sense this was where the Mazoku lived. He knew one Sage alone, but they had promised to bring her to a village. Now they were breaking that word? That would not do.
“I know where the villages use to be. For the Warrior Caste and Dragon Caste. I will take you there. Your free to follow.” He glanced at Gandigan. “But if you don’t you can pass the sword to me when I bring her clear. We said we take her to a village. Not to a man in a cave. Even if he is qualified, a Namek should not break there word yes?” He glanced back at Usumi and gave her a nod of respect. Even if he didn’t trust her, then they should of just attacked her. But if they were going to say ‘yes we will take you to get healed’ then he believed they should keep that word. No matter what.

Gandigan shared his fellow Namekian's confusion over the word 'Kai' being used here. He had no idea what it meant, and what sort of grip they may have over the universe. He honestly didn't care enough to enquire further though; it probably wouldn't be anything important to him anyway. What he was more concerned about was the woman's hesitation to follow him to the hermit. Did she want to be healed, or did she just want a village for another purpose?
Surprisingly Mollusc interjected on behalf of the stranger, which forced Gandigan into action. "Now wait a minute here. You don't think it's a little odd how she's reacting? What I promised is to help her be healed, at the hands of our Dragon brothers; not to take her to a village. If she really wants to be healed then I think that's good enough."
Before Mollusc can go anywhere Gandigan unveils the blade, thrusting it out in front of the Namekian to stop any stride. "If we were to go to a village it would have to be justified." Turning back to the woman he made his demands quite clear. "I've yet to see any sign of this curse you mentioned. Only something serious would make me considering escorting you to one of the villages. Why don't you show us what this curse really is? Give us a little demonstration, please."

When pressed on the usage of 'kai', the demon gave a little giggle. Holding her hands on her hips and she scrunched her nose at the two.
"Oh. Right. You'll find out when you get older." What a curiously morbid joke that would maybe fly over their heads. It wouldn't take longUsumi wondered when the egg would crack. Really, even with them tepidly going along aiding her she was itching for a namekian to be just a little too skeptical. Bless Mollusc's heart too, because he was trying hard to keep his word only for it to be fed to the wolves. The small human could only smile and give the hermit one look before turning to the skeptic. Grinning. it was like she was waiting for a sick prank to unfold.
"Sheesh, I thought you would never ask." Tiring of this deliberation, the short girl suddenly hops into the air. Looking to almost jump at Gandigan in that instant before vanishing in a shade of black. Body shimmering with an artificial shade before it was gone. Reappearing right behind the primitive Namekian and right from where his shadow stood, attempting to rake claws infused with red energy into his back. It was unlike her usual way of fighting, but she figured she could use that sword trick as an additional bit of awe should she be pushed too far.
"I wondered how long it would go on! It would really pay to be less skeptical sometimes, you know. Might save your life more often than not! Oh well. I do at least appreciate one's willingness to hold onto their word." She was far quicker than either of their eyes could catch up with, and the lack of presence she gave off made it even harder to keep track of her. The dirty truth of it though was that she barely was using a portion of her strength. Keeping the rest in store for later.
"Now we do it my way. I'll beat the information out of you. That's the only way you two get to live now." Her shift was so natural, she's done stuff like this before. Those she did not see worthy of a fair fight were tricked and belittled.
Usumi finally gets an excuse and unloads a Deft Blow (1KP 20% | 40,000) @ Gandigan!
