Fearsome Dragon (Open)

Mollusc stared around looking for Usumi alongside Gandigan especially after he kicked at thin air and skidded past where Usumi was. But she was not too far from him. She came rushing in to attack him! Mollusc was nailed by the claw strike or at least it seemed so. His body would slowly fade out as it was clear she had just hit an afterimage! Mollusc used that speed to avoid the attack and skid back behind her. She was really quick. He had just been able to dodge the attack. He would look up at Usumi as Gandigan called out asking what she wanted. He wanted to know what she was doing. Were all her words fickle? Or was this the curse taking control of her? Maybe her curse was some sort of creature controlling her? He had heard of possessions before. From the Mazoku Warlocks who could put a soul into a body, it did not belong in?

If that was the case, Usumi didn’t give the answer. She explained that she was going to look for the Dragon Caste to help her. But a Dragon Clan member could not simply fix what was going on. She needed to find secret information and artifacts. Rightfully, they were not going to hand that over. But she was going to find where they were and then take that information. “That is not going to happen.” Mollusc began to circle around her and glanced at Gandigan. They would have to work together clearly to beat her. But they had the 2 on 1 advantage, so he was confident they could stop her. Mollusc would dart forward again to send a barrage of punches and hoped Gandigan would follow suit!

being obtuse with her actual mortals was half and half. Both to keep her secrets and to mess with them, in particular. It seemed to work to her benefit if she wanted a fight. Mollusc was more than willing to give her it, escaping from her claw with an afterimage of his own. So he had a few tricks. She wondered just how old this one was to be hiding out here with that kinda skill. Maybe it was a more recent self-exile he kept under wraps. Who knew?

"Ohh! You're trained. Maybe it isn't going to happen for a few minutes longer than expected."
She'd spin his own words against him, turning around to start duckings and swerving around his blows. Without Ganidan's immediate help she would try and catch those rapid fists in both her clawed hands and pull herself up to his level. Raising her legs to extend them into a powerful kick at his face that he couldn't so easily avoid with a grab like this. Rather than let him fall, she'd let him taste these boots for a bit and tug hard on his arms.

"Oh?"
Rather than threaten to rip the guy's arms off though, her neck would crane over to Gandigan as he seemed to come up with a way out for at least one of them. Curious. Was this just a ploy to spare one of them? up to this point, she had little reason to trust he was doing anything else but being wary of her. It wouldn't be above him to try something sneaky like letting one of her inquiries get away from her grasp.

"Well, doesn't that sound like a peachy offer? My name is Usumidori, and depending on this 'favor' I may or may not be interested. I'm afraid this one hasn't offered anything to help me through this however. And what good would it be to let him go now?"
She'd try stomping at him in this position, staring back at Mollusc with that same sharp grin.

"For all I know he'd snitch~"

Mollusc blast didn’t meet Usumi. Instead, it was intercepted by Gandigan with some sort of shield. Mollusc was shocked, why the helll would he step in the way of his attack? He was at least freed of Usumi’s grasp. But, now he was left facing two people who wanted to head to the Dragon Caste and take their secrets and knowledge. Mollusc glanced at Gandigan as he explained he was not doing this just because he was fearful or a traitor. No, he was cursed just like she was. By the people of Konat's called the Kashvarr. So maybe he could find a cure with the Dragon clan Knowledge alongside Usumi’s own. Gandigan pointed out he didn’t need to give his own life up. Let him do his thing.

Mollusc knew he could not take the two of them on. And he understood why Gandgian was doing what he was doing. He wanted to cure himself, it was an understandable thing. But at the sacrifice of his own Kin? Mollusc couldn’t call him for all considering his own past but still. “Fine, I’ll return to my solitude. You two can do as you must.” Mollusc was lying. He knew this was his time to leave his solitude. He needed to warn as many of the Dragon Caste villages as he could. But he couldn’t do it right now. A village would have to pay the price of the two ambitions. But maybe he could warn other clans. Once the two of them of course left this area. He would leap up to return to his cave unless one of two of them stopped him from retreating.

So an Accord was met. Usumi would just smile as the two backed away from each other and agreed to go their separate ways. it was all sweet, seeing the two cooperate like this. Could almost break her tiny dark heart. The demon would let Mollusc get away for a bit while Gandigan explained himself personally to her. it was good to have confirmation on her foggy memory, cause she figured the namekians would be close enough to sense danger and help each other. Usumi only nodded and popped her fingers by folding the tips against each hand, stretching them as she stared in the distance towards this village's direction at this 'Outer Plait'.

"Naturally, I know what I seek and the resistance I expect. But, give me a moment. I'll be right back with you."
You see, there was one thing she didn't promise about Mollusc. Before Gan could turn to see where she went, she vanished. And he could feel that sword somehow vanish from his grasp. Not pulled or removed by a sudden force, simply... vanishing. The lack of weight being the first thing to notice. Up and away, before Mollusc could enter his cave, Usumi stood right in front of him. Crouched a bit and held what appeared to be that ebony sword again. This time in a sheath gathering red energy. His presence was spontaneous, a portal too quick to be noticed at this junction of power as he quickly draws the blade at him.

"Nighty Night~"
Rather than go to strike him down, the demon drew the blade on the opposite rotation, slinging the blunt back edge of the blade out and attempting to nail him in the forehead with solid metal. He didn't go for blood, he went to knock him out where he stood. Not even the energy built up on the blade could seem to lash out as it normally did, held back into a concussive force instead. He was going to put this one down regardless, but seeing as she could instead just get rid of him for the day she'd resort to that instead.

Almost as quickly as she left his side she'd reappear again. Smiling. Holding the blade and sheathe to her sides like she didn't just assault Mollusc for the last time.

"As promised, he will not die. But now we have some time. Lead the way."
