It was a bright sunny day on Earth. Bael found himself leisurely exploring the planet. He was trying to get himself familiar with his temporary new home. It had not been very long since he evacuated Hatchi. The last he saw of his home It was under attack buy god like forces. He wasn't sure if it was still standing. Even if it was it wouldn't matter at this point. His species was already going extinct. Years of fighting and conflict had taken its toll. With the evacuation of the tuffle capital there wasn't much left that belonged to them on plant. There whole planet had pretty much officially been taken away fro. them.
Bael stood on top of a beautiful mountain that overlooked gorgeous terrain below. There was miles of lush open land. Rivers and streams cut through the smaller hills and forests below. Fresh water and giant fish were in abundance. The soil seemed fertile and the weather was a perfect 75 degrees and sunny. It truly was a miraculous looking view.
This place is perfect. I couldn't picture a better place even in my dreams. This is it! I found it. This is where we can rebuild. We can be at peace here. The tuffles could finally get a fresh start and live a life without constant war. It won't be easy but if we all work together we could succeed and be stronger then we have ever been. I just know it!
He ran his fingers through his spikey green hair. Tears began to form under his emerald colored eyes as he pictured what a fresh start could look like for his people. His parents had strived both through the military and science to make his home planet better. They had dedicated their entire lives with little success to show for it. With them potentially gone the burden was now on him to save this once great race. He may be one of the only ones left In the universe even willing to try. He turned from the mountains cliff side and walked back towards his ship. His sword clanked against his battle armor with each step he took
It had taken him a lot of time but using his technical genius he figured out how to turn his ship Into a beacon. He was going to send a signal to the thousands of tuffles that had evacuated. He was going to let them know that it was safe here. They would be protected here until the fate of their homeland was settled and potentially even longer. He wanted them to know they no longer had to hide in fear. If they all worked together it would be ok. They could call this new paradise home.
He climbed Into his small pod with a sense of purpose. He began pushing buttons as he honed the ships signal to target ONLY tuffle space crafts that had evacuated from plant. He was careful to try and not tell the entire universe where they had gone. Luckily his family had helped with the evacuation and had access to all the top classified evacuation information. His ship had it programmed to it before he ever left. In hindsight it made him wonder if this was his parents plan all along? Why else would only his ship be privy to such information? They had given him every tool they could to try and help his people. He was not going to fail!
With a dramatic finish he slammed the final button on his control panel. A silent electronic signal went hurtling to every dark crevice of the galaxy. Bael slumped back in his seat with a giant grin on his face. He reveled in the moment for a minute before pulling a white flag with a stick attached to it. On the flag was a symbol for the city of Hatchi. It was a tribute to the fallen city he had fled. With a slight yell he plunged his makeshift flag into the ground signaling that he officially was claiming this area for his own.
I think we will call this place Mt. Hatchi! Yah....that's got a nice ring to it.
