This… this was certainly a situation. It wasn’t a situation that she had anticipated, by any means, and actually it was awful, terribly awful and awfully terrible, but… well, you couldn’t say that it wasn’t a situation.
The ‘it’s over’ bit, yes, that bit was to be expected. But, to hear ‘I’ve killed Azoth’... Cheri reached out her senses through her scouter and found that Azoth’s power signature simply was not there. While it would have been impossible to tell, given that her mind was no longer affecting her original body and the Ape-Buster Suit was incapable of standard personable expression, Cheri was rather taken aback by this news.
So— either all of this was some confounding jape, some devilish ploy, which was remarkably unlikely but, hey, impressive if it was, or Taori was trying his best to stick to the spirit of the plan, and something unexpected had made a mess of things. He offered her the opportunity to give herself up, and… well, yes, that was certainly a good thing to offer in the moment, but Cheri had some concerns.
“Perhaps I shall, King of Vegeta..."
For one, the battle was still young,barely five pages in, and Cheri’s previous domination of the battlefield had not yet been corrected. No, that catharsis would not be released until she had been brought low, defeated, and in that action providing for Taori the image of a powerful victor.
The Ape-Buster Suit swelled with power, in two senses. Firstly, in the sense that its power itself swelled, but also in that the suit itself swelled with power in much the same way that a balloon might swell with air, water, or the blood of the innocent. There were a few loud sounds, not unalike to the sounds pipes made when they were handling pressures they really weren’t designed for. While there was a practical purpose to it, the main thing was that it increasingly appeared that a single strong attack, if not a few, would cause it critical damage as the technology, pushed to its edge, failed to sustain itself.
She would communicate to his scouter, privy to no one else: {I understand your urgency, but do not allow it to sabotage what we are doing here. For me to give up now would be a shallow defeat, and would not satisfy your raging hordes. I shall go down quickly, but in a way that marks your triumph.}
Cheri’s gloved left hand caught and absorbed Dark’s attack as if she knew it was coming. A moment later, both her left and right hands moved up, both aimed at the Vegetan King. Cheri, of course, was entirely confident that he could deal with both of them as, moment later, she sent out two attacks, one made of lightning and the other her generic pink ki blast, straight at him.
“... But not yet!”

Here we go. Let’s end this quickly. I don’t mean to have Cheri give up when she’s mechanically defeated, that’d take too long, but there ought to be something to it, if only taking one decently big attack.
Cheri uses a Transformation Boost, increasing her PL to 344,100 for this turn.
Cheri uses Powercatch (103,230PL) against Dark’s Violent Spiral (72,000PL), bleedthroughs down to 31,230PL, reflectives up to 100,050PL.
Cheri also uses an Arm Blaster for a free attack of 68,820PL.
Both aimed at Taori, though I fully anticipate intercepts.
These attacks, and all attacks in Cheri’s posts in this AT unless otherwise specified, have the intent to knock the opponent unconscious (not wounded).
