While Taori almost made it over to the Majin, Cheri suddenly attacked. To be fair to her, though, she did warn him about it. He glanced back at the incoming attack as her warning came in, and pulled back. A burst of speed was all he needed to shift out of the way just enough for Cheri's attack to harmlessly sail off into the far distance. Well. That one was papered over quite nicely.

Taori had half a mind to just engage Cheri for a moment and forget the Majin, although when he glanced back at the dark blue creature, it seemed as though it was... Vanishing? Well, much as Taori had sort of been hoping to have a fight, he wasn't going to look this gift horse in the mouth. Any reduction in their number of opponents was something Taori would gladly take. He glanced over at the fellow with the cat ears and raised an eyebrow at his... Conduct, though he didn't say anything for the moment.

Just as he was about to engage Cheri, though, his scouter beeped as it registered something utterly massive off in the near distance. An energy blast that clocked in at... "539,000...?" Taori mumbled to himself, hardly believing the number he saw on his scouter. That could only have come from Azoth - why was he firing off such powerful attacks? He did know he was supposed to be feigning defeat, right? Taori looked over at Cheri, and quietly messaged her. "Something's going wrong over by Azoth," he said, "I'm going to go check it out. Entertain these two for a minute, I shouldn't be long."

To the other soldiers present, he loudly declared, "Push the attack! I'm going to assist our allies on the flank! Hold until I can return!" He glanced over at Ward and gestured for him in particular to come follow, then flew off towards Azoth's energy signature. He hoped he'd get there in time to keep anything too bad from happening.

Taori evades Cheri's attack with his evasive [Light] Fancy Feet! He then attempts to head over to Azoth and K414's split!

The battle was not going at all as expected, which for the most part was a relief, given that by now Ward expected to be half-bloody and tired from taking hits to avoid others having to. With the others already split off into their own battles after saving him that earlier fate, and the current fight devolving into angry kicks and punches, he was for now in a position once again to stay ready and surprisingly refreshed all things considered. There were techniques exchanged, but no one looked worse for it, at least not physically.

He wasn't all too focused on Cheri in the moment, more concerned with whatever this creature in front of him was and what they might do to Dark or the others if he wasn't vigilant, but it seemed it had taken its own damage of sorts in the midst of everything. Suddenly throwing what he could only classify as a tantrum, the blue creature began to scream out, and between the mech-suit Cheri, the clearly high-tempered Dark, and now whatever the blue monster now seeming to collapse in on itself like a dying star were doing, all he could do for a moment was stare with his mouth slightly agape. What the hell just happened?

Ward had fully expected Dark's attack to anger Liari and have to jump in and deflect the attention onto himself, but instead the blue creatures energy was gone, not suppressed, but as if it never existed on the battlefield to begin with. This was now two incredibly strong fighters that looked to oppose Taori's side of the battle either flat out running away or disappearing altogether. There was suddenly a strange feeling about the fight, almost as if his adrenaline had began to spike and someone had thrown cold water on him, seeing the three Saiyan warriors standing now facing off with just Cheri. Given the stacked odds, this wasn't a fight Ward would likely need to get involved in, but given how many other fighters were still around, like the others that had attacked Taori earlier, he wasn't letting his guard down just yet.

It was as if the very fates of balance grabbed his shoulder and physically moved his body, turning as he felt a spike far above even his own power level and that of any of the other fights going on around them. He looked over and it wasn't coming from the Saiyans he had seen earlier, nor the other three that were fighting with them, one of the Arcosians had seemed to run out of sight, so perhaps it was them? He was aware they could raise in strength, but this was something far more than that, something that simply felt off. There was only one other fighter on the battlefield that could possibly get so strong; Azoth.

For a brief moment his eye twitched and it felt as if the muscles in his neck stiffened involuntarily as he rolled his neck. That was not a fight he was keen to engage in, and for now as long as Taori wasn't facing off with him he didn't have any reason to. Balance, as always, had a sense of humor about things, as Taori came rushing past running right towards the source of the energy, giving him a look to follow as he did, and all Ward could do for a moment was stare dumbfounded, as if someone had read his mind. Turning to look back at the others he took a deep breath and looked back towards Taori.

"Shit"

Pushing off from the ground he took off after Taori, knowing full well if they were headed in the direction of whatever battle was taking place, things were about to get a hell of a lot less casual.

Cheri succeeded in that her attack failed to land. Huzzah.

In situations like these, Cheri got the unmistakable feeling that she, in her observations on a situation, was missing out on some crucial confidence. There was Liara and Dark, who certainly had some history, but the way they were talking to each other seemed to have more to do with a melodrama than anything that was actually occurring. The Majin teleported away (presumably, anyway; Cheri certainly hadn’t seen her reappear elsewhere but, hey, she was almost certainly fine) and the cat saiyan (whom Cheri had met, but apparently not enough to have any idea what was going on with that whole situation) was rather fussy about it.

[Acknowledged. Be warned: Azoth has been informed, but only concerningly recently.] Specifically, less than a minute ago, or thereabouts. Taori flew off to deal with that problem, and moments thereafter Ward followed along. That left Cheri, Clove, and Dark.

What to do, what to do? She’d need to show these two Vegetans a good fight, a truly good fight, the sort of fight that they will inevitably lose, so that it would feel truly momentous when Cheri is eventually defeated by… Taori, hopefully, if everything went well.

As Clove charged up his energy, Cheri simply turned to partially face him. From the outside, there didn’t seem to be any more happening, just a single ominous motion. However, there was a lot more going on: Cheri’s brain, extrapolated into the grand nanotech weave of the Ape-Buster Suit, was making models and predictions of Clove’s attack. When the two orbs of energy merged into one beam, Cheri had already prepared her countermeasure: squares along the leg seemed to open up, hatches from which a veritable swarm of materialised, pink missiles. Some of these missiles moved to the beam’s side and exploded themselves just before, bursting with bent space and compressed air, causing the attack to safely careen off to a bit of battlefield no one was currently occupying. Most of the missiles, though, continued flying through the air, keen to each explode just before meeting Clove to flood him in a miasma of flame (and a few other rather technical things, but the fire would be the most obvious in the moment).

”You see that? Your king has abandoned you.”

That’d anger them, and reassure them when she’d later inevitably be proven wrong… unless, of course, Azoth went really off the rails.

Cheri uses her technique, Programmed Barrage, for 30% (86,025PL). This attack opposes Clove’s Roaring Star Cannon (100,000PL). However, the Programmed Barrage is Overflowing, and in this struggle its power increases by 10% to a total of 114,700PL. Because it’s Overflowing, it ignores fizzling, leaving it a bleedthrough of 14,700PL. However, because of Attack vs Attack clashing rules, it can’t be reduced below 50% of its PL, meaning it flies out at Clove with a PL of 57,350PL.

This attack, and all of Cheri’s posts in this AT unless otherwise specified, have the intent to knock the opponent unconscious (not wounded).

Very few understood the true boiling over rage something like this would come to a Saiyan. It took both of his kin around him their age or expertise to realize they had bigger fish to fry, but it wasn't their fight they were losing! Their fight they hopelessly blasted at in a vain attempt to stop the majin from disappearing from sight. From all the senses. Even as the dust settled and metaphorical curtains rose to show her presence no longer. The young saiyan clenches his fets as the last few blasts left him winded. He grits his teeth as he stared for some time at where this blue spat once was before straightening up and lifting his head on back. Surging rocks and electricity crashing around him as that bright yellow aura flared in his anger.

"COWAAAAAARD!"
The enraged youth could only shout in frustration. Armor battered by the one and only thing that majin did here. He could give less of a damn about most of the others, the king and those really big Arcosians and mutants over there. Give less of a damn about his 'orders' from king who'd leave him and Clove to the sidelines. Positing them to deal with this mech. Cheri, the same one that stopped HIS only attack against Liari. He didn't have the pleasure of level-headedness at this point that the elder did either.

But as it stood, she was the only offender still around. The saiyan was quicker coaxed by her presence alone than by her looming threat and attempt to lure them into a fight with words. Already jumping at the large mech's body. Clove could handle what he was getting, surely. And distracting herself with attacking just one of them gave him the breathing room he'd need to follow up rather quickly. His big leap turned into flight midway to try and get a firm grasp on the 'head' cockpit of the mech. Digging his hands in to try and secure himself and look in to see past the opaque mech's visors.

"Come on out, meddler!"
He'd pull back a hand once to rear it in for a punch through said visor he was holding onto from. Trying to pry himself into the machine itself with little more than ferocious prying apart with his bare hands. Dark would require more juice to push past anything worthwhile but he needed to pace himself for that.

Dark gonna jump up and start slashing at the Cheri Bot, trying to get at that sweet tuffle filling within.

Clove was a bit surprised to see that not only has the majin decided to take off, but so has his king as well as that shinjin who just keeps on following Taori wherever he went, the king giving the excuse that he's going to reinforce the flank. At first Clove didn't entirely understand the logic given how Cheri was almost completely alone in this fight at this point, but after a few seconds he comes to realize that they might have a very large problem on their hands if someone didn't intercept it. The elder saiyan could feel a powerful force near the flank, a force that was over five times as strong as he was, and he understood just how severe this situation was.

Unfortunately, that still left just him and Dark to fight Cheri, but at least there was less risk for her in this case as all he has to do is make sure the mech is somehow disabled and stop Dark just in case his anger gets the best of him in the heat of battle. As Clove was about to fire off his Roaring Star Cannon, Cheri turns around and meets the elder saiyan, the element of surprise being taken out of the equation. She fires off a large rocket salvo at him, the resulting explosions being enough to steer his beam off course and land harmlessly in an empty plot while the rest of the missiles made their way towards him.

With almost no energy left to defend himself, Clove moves his arms up to try and soften the blow as the rockets detonate right in front of him, sending flames directly into him and burning him. The clothes around his mechanical legs and mechanical arm were torn up as his hood was incinerated almost completely, leaving only his mask to hide his identity. Parts of his skin was burnt from the flames as he breathes heavily, having survived Cheri's counter assault. Dark, on the other hand, was too busy trying to pry Cheri out of her mech, prompting the elder saiyan to shout, "Aim to disable the mech, Dark! It'll make plucking her out far easier that way!" Hopefully he could at least steer Dark away from just relentlessly assaulting Cheri, either to stop him from getting himself hurt in the process or to potentially harm Cheri. Things were starting to get a bit more complicated for the elder saiyan.

It appeared that Dark was, as we in the biz say, completely out of his gods-damned mind. Cheri did not determine that this was the case from how the feline saiyan jumped onto the Ape-Buster Suit, no, as far as any of the Vegetans would have been able to tell that wasn’t an entirely unreasonable move. No, it was because of all the yelling, and the expressions, and the general air of someone who didn’t care nearly so much as was appropriate. That made Dark a concern, a wild card, a unaccounted-for element of the wider situation at hand.

Through the translucent blue uberglass, Dark would have been able to see Cheri’s original, untransformed body, eyes closed, heartbeat and most biological processes slowed so ridiculously this battle could go on for a year and she wouldn’t have made it to the second heartbeat, clothed only in the basic programmable matter without in addition so much as half a bowtie. That original body did not hold Cheri’s consciousness, nor was it the focus of her attentions… but, all the same, Cheri knew exactly what Dark was doing, and a very good guess as to what he was up to.

The good news, for Dark, is that when he tried to jam his punching fist into the blue, it worked. The bad news, though, was that his hand would be caught in what seemed all of a sudden not so much glass or crystal, but a liquid that hardened tried to keep his hand there. A powerful burst of electricity would move through this strange medium, headed straight for Dark’s hand before letting him go.

”Everything you think might work, won’t. At no point have I ever been any fewer than fifty steps ahead of you.”

And hopefully that’d motivate them to prove her wrong.

Cheri uses an Arm Blaster for a free 20% attack, worth 57,350PL, aimed at Darkus.

This was a big mess for the others. Of all the saiyans that aren't the nameless, who are off doing their own rampaging with other nameless tuffles, he was one of the few furious and ignorant of the inside story enough to let their rage carry on unchallenged. The majin appeared and left his presence so suddenly. His chance... He'd be taken to this wrath. A blinding of his mind and clouding of his vision. Even as he stared deep into the blue uberglass of the pink mech and at that small woman hooked up to it his mind raced on only two things - Violence and Liari.

Clove's piercing voice of command was one of the few things to shake the amnesia of the mind. A metaphorical fog clearing from his eyes for a moment. Long enough to heed those words of his and the mech's self-defense mechanisms. Depending on how aware the truffle was, she'd sense his expressions shift from staring death at her to an alertedness. Eyes darting at the gathering electricity. Soon to run its course if he did nothing. The saiyan switched from digging the fists deeper in the malleable glass liquid to tugging and shaking with his own sense of electricity still surrounding him. The saiyan's body vibrates for a split moment before his form splits into several images of himself. All hovering around and down lower on the mech.

When the shock came for Dark, it'd only meet the illusion of the character. The spark hits no conduction and only sends the shimmering image away with its attempt to harm the cat. A 'zap' of a tazer misfiring. With that close call the saiyan reappears lower down the massive mech. The rest of the images fading as he'd get into a better spot hoovering just next to her leg. Taking the advice of the elder saiyan, he'd try cutting it down to their size for a more even fight. A yellow ball of ki forms in his hand that quickly sharpens and forms a voltaic beam of energy. Attempting to cut at the mech's supporting right knee with what was essentially a ki plasma torch in a swipe of his arm.

Dark activates a 6MP Ki Cost Reduction and dodges the Arm Blaster (57,350) with his own Nine Lives (~~2KP~~1KP ~~60%~~70% | 63,000).

Despite being almost lost in his own rage, Dark was able to at least comprehend Clove's orders, and the young one seems like he's actually going to make an attempt at doing so. Cheri attempts to blast the zoanthrope out of the sky, leaving her a bit vulnerable to what Clove will attempt to do. He still has yet to recover that much energy, but he's focused on doing as much damage as he physically can while waiting for his full strength to return to him. Cheri attempts to trap Dark and electrocute him while he was stuck, but the young zoanthrope was able to avoid any incoming damage by using some rather convincing illusions and getting out of the way before the attack could be fired off, which impressed Clove at his quick thinking.

As Dark moves down towards the legs of Cheri's mech, Clove believes that he might be a bit vulnerable to a potential counterattack from Cheri if he didn't provide some sort of distraction. Clove aims the palms of his hands right at the body of Cheri's mech and begins firing off a hail of small ki blasts, weak enough that they can't do any serious damage to the mech. Hopefully, it'll get her attention away from Dark as he attempts to try his best to disable the mech and they can call an end to this fight. With the chancellor forced to surrender, the saiyans can finally claim victory once and for all. And then... Then what would happen?

The feline saiyan succeeded in getting out of the way of the suit’s little self-defense countermeasure, quite nice. This whole side of the battlefield was going quite nicely: these two schmucks were being safely engaged far away from anything else going on, she was wearing down on them enough to draw out what was needed from them, and, as an added bonus on all of that, she herself was sitting pretty. The way things were going, it was entirely feasible that she would get through the entirety of this fight (and inevitably win), all without having sustained any damage herself. The only real thing in the way of that, Cheri thought, was the rather likely possibility of someone else coming by… hopefully Taori, when his matter was settled.

Cheri was aware of Clove’s plan— it was difficult not to be, given that he shouted it out— and had made sure to reserve the fortitude and increase the shielding on the Ape-Buster Suit’s legs. The intention was that, despite putting particular attention on those legs, it would seem like nothing in particular was done at all, hence giving the image that the two saiyans were simply incapable of dealing any damage. The image of battle tended to have a remarkable influence over the battle itself, Cheri often found.

Of course, Clove was an issue as well, but one decently well accounted for by bringing one arm out as cover and activating a basic force-field around it.

”You bore me.”

Let’s hope this feels like a boss fight

With both of the Saiyan's priorities figured out between the two the hybrid got to work trying to blast a hole into the side of her mech's leg. Any sort of hole would do. But coming up on some damning resistance; Some resistance far greater than any normal metal keeping him at bay, he had to pull back a blasting hand and reassess what was going to happen here. Seems even with his bravado and newfound power he didn't stand much chance truly rending this mech to pieces.

"Damn!"
he'd feel the blasts of ki coming above him before seeing it. Clove was aiming centre-mass into the chancellor's mecha. Though much like his own efforts they were being blocked by the sudden shift the ape buster made to throw a shielded hand up. Rather than keep wailing into a limb he couldn't cut with several seconds of trying he'd go for doubling up on trying this opening the elder saiyan went for. Hopping from the knee and extending both his arms out to try and force himself against the shielding arm. Vibrant yellow aura sparking to life with his efforts to suddenly try shoving the arm up.

The pair may be a boring match for her, but he wasn't about to let her dust them without TRYING.

Dark lunges upwards and tries knocking the shielding mech arm away to open her up!

It almost seemed like no matter what either Clove or Dark did to Cheri, her mech just wasn't sustaining any sort of damage whatsoever. That goes to show just what the tuffles are really capable of when the war has come to their own territory, but now things are starting to look a bit grim for the two weaker fighters. The elder saiyan was starting to run low on options given the available resources, and very soon if neither of them receive any sort of backup they might truly be in some big trouble. He just hopes that whatever it is Taori and that shinjin were doing is done and can get back already. The two of them can only hold off Cheri for so long. Then again, if those two start fighting her and damaging the mech, it might put her in grave danger, especially since Taori might want to finish things himself...

Looks like Dark has now decided against trying to destroy the legs and instead focus more on concentrated fire, the young zoanthrope flying up and trying to strike the same area Clove was trying to hit, of course trying to avoid the shield Cheri managed to pull up. Before he would be against the idea since it could bring harm to Cheri's actual body, but considering how nothing so far has worked, the elder saiyan is at least willing to make an exception just to see how it would work. Perhaps Clove needs to put in some real effort if he's going to get things moving again, but for now he'll keep on focusing his fire at the shield, hopefully giving Dark a chance to find a way to more easily slip past it.

Brilliant, everything was going on as intended. Neither of these dullards, not the feline one nor the old masked one, had the means to so much as make a dent in the Ape-Buster Suit. She was successfully fomenting a sort of furor in the hordes, driving up their raging passions against her; ultimately, it would make her eventual defeat all the more satisfying.

Anticipating Dark’s attack, Cheri shifted her arm so that, instead of guarding the torso with a forcefield, it would be possessed suddenly with new movement as the vast ‘metal’ limb flung out at Dark, aiming to swat him, not dissimilarlu to how one would hit a baseball in… whatever the name of that one sport that had baseballs in it was called. This brief moment allowed Clove to get a few of his shots in, which seemed to be decently effective in that they exploded and blasted against the constructed frame, but then again, not at all given that she didn’t seem to notice.

“Let’s make this more interesting…”

A section of the mech, perhaps analogous to the back of the neck on a humanoid body, opened up, revealing an array of eight missiles. As soon as the hatch was open, the missiles blasted off, flying up and each moving to some distinct part of the battlefield. Each missile would find its way to a Great Ape on the battlefield, causing a decent amount of damage… but, notably, only a few would be knocked down, out of the fight, and none would find themselves in risk of anything fatal. Those eight missiles, one would notice, were replaced by another eight missiles barely a sixteenth of a jiffy by means of rapid self-materialisation, and fired off themselves just as soon… and so on, and so on, until the Ape-Buster Suit was producing many, many missiles to be sent all over the place.

Quite a few people here knew each other, Cheri noted. If she targeted someone in particular, she reasoned, she would give friends of that person reason to intercept. Or, at least, by their falling, others would be motivated onward. Regardless, most reasoning lead in one direction: one of these chess pieces would have to be knocked to the side, and Dark, of the two, seemed the better fit.

While many of the missiles would find themselves all over the place, a select few dozen would all find themselves all aiming not at an oozaru but at Dark.

“You cannot dodge all of them. Your defeat is inevitable.”

Taori had come into this whole thing with relatively high spirits - sure, he knew things could have gone a bit wrong, but overall, he felt confident that, at the end of the day, the war would be resolved, and peace could begin at last.

Now, it seemed peace may never be an option.

Peace with the Tuffles, perhaps. With Arcose? There would be hell to pay. But not today - today one war did need to come to an end. Taori arrived back at Cheri's location just in time to see her blasting off a fairly potent attack at the two who had been left behind to face her. With a sigh, Taori supposed it was probably up to him to swoop in and block it. The unyielding rage he had felt moments before had managed to give way for the moment, but what it gave way to was an odd feeling of resigned weariness. He'd only been King for a month and would be forced to thrust Vegeta into a new war? In truth, the current battle was hardly even on his mind anymore as he swooped in and shielded the cat-like Saiyan from Cheri's blow.

He hadn't quite mustered up the stamina to block it completely, so Cheri's blow did sting a bit as it crashed into his barrier of ki and singed his arms, although he'd dealt with far worse before. The cat Saiyan shouldn't have gotten hurt, at the very least. "It's over, Cheri," Taori loudly announced, forcing himself to put up the act of bravado he had entered the battle with. "I've killed Azoth. Your other defenders have fled. All you will accomplish by continuing to fight is leaving your people without their leader - surrender now, and I will spare your life."

Cheri was likely confused about the Azoth being dead part, considering that had unequivocally not been part of the plan. At all. Taori hovered high up in the air to meet Cheri at eye level in her mech, and spoke softly so as not to allow the others around him to hear. "We were duped, Cheri. Azoth used his knowledge of the battle to attack Sadala. My city is in ruins - we need to wrap up here, fast. I don't even know what the extent of the damage might be." Nor did he know if Alpinia would be alright. The look of desperation should have been quite clear on his face - considering Taori was a mediocre actor at best, it was likely clear to Cheri that his words were not part of the charade.

Taori swoops in and uses [Light] Harm's Way to block Cheri's attack towards Dark! Its power is reduced by 60,000, then by an additional 30% thanks to the Shield variant, dealing 19% damage to Taori!

Despite being a direct part of the battle for some time now, there was so much Ward had missed, so much he was still not privy to, and too few things he fully grasped the consequences of. Even now as he rushed back to the others after Taori he had no idea of this ploy between Cheri and Taori, why the second Arcosian had fled so suddenly, where the blue creature attacking Dark and his companion had gone, what had happened with or to whoever Azoth was fighting, and what the hell had happened to Azoth himself. This entire exercise in ending a war with this battle seemed almost futile, leaving as many questions as answers to what was supposed to be an end to conflict. His entire presence had done little to help in the end, and there were so few threats he ended up having to protect anyone from at all, as each one he stepped to or in front of simply vanished into the air the moment he was facing them.

Taori taking the attack intended for Dark was something he himself should have done, or at least that's what his immediate thought was, finding more and more he was protecting little else in this fight but his own curiosity it seemed. Disappearing from his rushing to close the distance, he appeared beside Taori standing still, hands behind his back, and a stone-faced expression. He did not however follow any further, planting his own feet firmly on the ground as Taori hovered higher off it, taking a moment to look over the others, letting the two leaders do whatever they felt best in the moment.

His attention fell on Dark for a moment, but shifted towards Clove, who he had yet to give more than a glance thus far, but even without examining them closely he could tell they were in bad shape. For all this was supposed to be a fake fight, there were true casualties and scars to take away from it. Ward was done acting the part of watchman, shaking his head and letting out a clearly frustrated sigh, leaving his position once more as he blinked away and next to Clove, putting a hand on their shoulder and gripping it tightly enough to grab their attention, then shaking his head.

"The fight is over."

His hand that was still gripping onto the Saiyan began to glow a light blue and within seconds Clove would have felt a strange sensation washing over him as bruises disappeared, cuts were gone. Any signs of battle damage had dissipated in an instant as if not even as much as a punch was thrown his way. Moving his hand away, he spoke before disappearing once more and appearing back where he was standing before, hands locked behind his back.

"Check on Dark. Let Taori handle Cheri."

Dark would achieve something by trying to shove that arm aside. It might not have been the desired effect, but he DID get it to move. Right at him. Proud for a split second that he was nudging the arm up, he would soon find that said arm was actually just moving of its own accord. Aiming to swat the saiyan clean out of the air and away from her. If she had actual power behind that blow it would perhaps have knocked some sense into him. Instead, it would only serve to keep his anger going. His form launched back a couple dozen meters until he landed on his back with a thud.

He'd grunt and pick himself up, just in time to see the missiles flying off from the mech's back. Dark wouldn't realize their size until they were upon him. Mae for Oozaru, they were way too big and bulky for little old he to be trying his dodging technique. The best he could muster is to brace himself for the impact. Standing with his arms held up in guarding his head. But today, he would not feel that metal on his face. Instead, he'd have another savior. The King was back in a hurry, claiming to have offed Azoth and sent all the others home packing.

Wha?

As the missiles either fly away from his force harmlessly or slam into the king to little effect, the thunder cat was left there to ponder. A rage still crawling over his face and coursing through him. Not only did he not get a single good hit on his actual target of ire, Liari, but he was also shamefully unable to do anything up against the chancellor that stopped him in the first place. And though the king's plan to force the truffle into surrender was probably the best of any options, in the long run, he couldn't help himself. He didn't really care what the King was trying for right then and there.

Armor battered and some bruising around his limbs, the cat would say 'fuck it' and toss what he could at the tuffle. Signs of surrender be damned. Taori would feel the swelling of power most immediately from behind him just before the cat would hop to the side. Clearing the king away from his trajectory as he conjured up two shocking balls of yellow ki. Rapidly growing in their intensity before chucking them in a spiraling path. Entire streaks of lightning dancing off of them as they are hurled at the Ape buster, center mass.
