Gandigan waited. And waited. And waited for Cabasa to finally attack, but nothing came. The Mazoku King stood like stone, waiting for the lesser to move forward and strike him down, but still nothing. He was beginning to grow impatient, taking his own step forward as he prepared to attack himself, and that was the moment that Cabasa finally gave him what he wanted. An enormous explosion of energy erupted around of Cabasa, forcing Gandigan to bring his arm up to his face and brace himself.
Through squinted eyes he watched as Cabasa took to the air and fired down an energy beam with this new heightened power. He had only a second to react, firing off another Shugeki Wave in retaliation. The two beams would slam into each other somewhere in the middle; neither willing to give ground to the other. Gandigan dug in and fought deep... but his power faded fast. Cabasa had managed to surpass him (if only briefly) but that was enough to win this clash.
The Shugeki Wave faded into nothing, allowing Cabasa's beam to strike him in the chest and cut straight through. That wasn't the end of it for Gandigan though, as Cabasa's beam had Gandigan pinned, allowing the Mazoku to drag the King around on through the snow. Gandigan was forced to endure the pain and humiliation until finally Cabasa's beam would fade, giving Gandigan time to assess the damage.
The Namekian had suffered a large puncture to his lung, giving him a concerning lack of oxygen flow. The attack would have likely been fatal if Gandigan wasn't already dead. Having no hope of continuing the fight like this, Gandigan was forced to tap into whatever regenerative abilities he had left, which slowly closed the wound across his chest. Even still that had taken an enormous toll on Gandigan's body, as the Mazoku was left unable to stand just yet.
"If.... my power was still lower, this battle would be over. Will you... follow up on your attack?"
