Gandigan was getting his full of Earth, which was good and bad. It was a new experience for him to see such large metropolitan areas on Namek, even if some of the larger cities back home were moving in that direction. But he knew he didn't want to spend too much time in that sort of place; nature was where he belonged. It took a while until he found something that gave him the homely sort of vibe he was looking for, but eventually he found it in an area called the Kaiju Jungle.
Aside from the familiar feel of Namek, there was one other, rather large reason why he wanted to come out here. He knew that he could only delay his trip to Konats for so long, and once he went his memories would be gone for good. With what time he had left he wanted to try and put to good something he had learnt back on Namek. The deep, horrid scar which ran down his chest from where Amon had burst out still remained with him to these day, and now he was searching for a potential answer.
Upon awaking, an elder spoke with him about a potential medicinal paste he might apply to help speed of the healing process, though at that time Gandigan had assumed that his bodies own natural healing would take care of things, and that the sort of ointment was only needed for the elderly; those who's healing functions might have begun to slow. As it turned out that he was quite wrong on that, as his scar had appeared to have healed at all since the day he had received it.
While he still had the details of the ingredients within his memory, he figured he might give it a shot. While Earth didn't quite have same Fauna or Flora as Namek did, he figured that the Jungle should have a decent number of substitutes he could use. It only took him about an hour or so to wrangle together what looked to be a good batch. The leaves from a waterlily, a dozen crushed bullet ants, the scales from a Morpho Butterfly, and a fist of crushed passion fruit.
The mixture as was smelt was enough to make him reek, though the paste wasn't quite done yet. There was one more crucial ingredient necessary to complete it: spinal fluid, in an amount which almost necessitated the slaying of a giant beast. Thankfully the Kaiju Jungle earned it's name in that regard, with plenty of options to choose from. In one powerful swoop Gandigan cleaved the head from one of the natives; the species of which he couldn't say, though he could say it did posses a spine.
Laying the creature flat on it's stomach, Gandigan dug his arm's into opened neck, tearing from the wound it's backbone. With his prize in hand Gandigan split the bone in two, pouring the watery fluid down into the bowl which housed the rest of his concoction. With the spine thoroughly drained he threw it aside and used a makeshift mortar and pester to mix the paste together. At this point his eyes were burning, but he had come this far; it would be a waste of good spinal fluid to turn back. "I hope the elder knew what he was talking about..."
