It was peculiar that Papri had not heard of Prof Guara, she had tried to keep tabs on all the scientists of the past generation that would have had any significant influence on the war. But this one slipped her by. Iondu then went on to criticise the creation of a replica. “No, I didn’t think, but then again, that tends to work out for me.” Papri gave a small wink to the Tuffle scientist. “But, trust me, I’m not gonna hurt anyone here, intentionally or otherwise. Sorry.” Papri gave a warm smile and then looked away, back to the strange figure that had triggered the speech.
Iondu continued her speech about the professor. Luckily it explained a lot and filled some of Papri’s memory gaps. A lot of projects from the war had been highly classified or otherwise destroyed. This one sounded like it had potential. But perhaps too complicated and without enough time to develop it, was cast aside in favour of a simpler solution. Despite the ramifications. Anti-Blutz waves are definitely something to look into, however.
“I mean the destron worked fairly well…” she muttered under her breath, she gently tapped one of her pockets concealed by the now half-open hazmat suit, and felt the cold canister press against her, before she quickly pulled her hand away.
“Well Budoshi, for one, I am more water than most people and love the rain normally.” she gave a coy look, in a way that made it seem like he should have known that, “and secondly, it’s normally a thing gentlemen do on dates for their partners. Or when it's a taller girl. Anyhoo~” She trailed off looking back to what Nervan was doing, curiously scrunching her face to try and figure out what was going on in their head, but it was no use.
Papri was unsure of this whole situation, but there was always the strange side of the universe that was unexplained. “Maybe he became part of this place? He’s probably dead unless he’s robofied himself. I heard some guys figured out that at some point in history.” A silly thought crossed her mind shortly after. “Or! He’s a ghost, doomed to haunt his creation forever… OooOoOh.” She gave a wiggle of her figures and stretched her form a bit with the water she had stored in her legs, before returning to normal.
“Creating life is a real biggie for any scientist, but that does bring an idea. Maybe, the signal could be an alarm? Something that can be picked up from so far away would indicate it needing seeing to with urgency.” She stood with her hand on her chin and bit her lip in thought. “We should pick a direction anyway, we’ve got 1-4 on the left, 1-2 forwards and 1-4 on the right. Dread to think of the state upstairs though.” A furrowed brow joined her expression.
