His Kochi'kosen attack was intended to kill Steel, though the man proved to be resilient. One too many times he had underestimated that fool, but his next strike would finish the job. He was ready to rush after him, though Steel's bellowing changed his mind. He had the wits to know that by himself he stood no chance and thus he was going to aid Celerous in his battle against the rainbow warrior. The sight of once proud warrior feeling did bring a smile to his face.
"Ha! You see that? Earth's greatest defenders get one look at me and run. Why'd they even bother coming out here? I doubt your girl can handle both Celerous and Steel, but she'll soften them up for; I'll take the kills from her." In the chaos of the attack Qarinah had escaped his sight, and without being able to sense her power he was forced to forgo that potential ally for now. Perhaps she'd aid him in hopes of being rewarded with power, or maybe she'd work with these fools to oppose him, but she knows what'll happen then.
Now all that stood between him and the city was the mysterious old man, and every word he spoke made the Heran trust him less and less. "Out of the way? Why? That boy mean something to you? He seemed pretty upset with what you had to say; didn't hear any familiarity between the two of you." He had made the assumption that the old man had come to join him; not something that had really made sense, but he was happy to accept help given the circumstances.
But now? That had clearly been a mistake. His lackey may have occupied Celerous for him, but whatever their agenda was it didn't align with his. He had to wonder whether or not he could still use him after all. "Territory? You the governor or something? I never learnt as much about Human law as I ought to have, but I don't recall hearing about any important figures within Earth politics outside of King Derry. That man holds all the cards from what I've gathered."
There was Derry again; the man he'd never meet crossing through his mind. Before he had the excuse of time, but now? This had gone on long enough and still he hides himself. Even if he isn't fit to meet the Heran in battle personally, has he no armies at his command? He couldn't help but feel he may have activated some sort of trap, but if that was the case then so be it. Maybe he was just overthinking things though; East City was the capital of crime among Earth, so the old man was likely no more than some petty slum lord.
"If you're worried about your turf so bad I can put that burden to rest. I don't plan on taking it with me when I leave, so you're welcome to collect your due from whatever's left over. In fac-" The sound of brick of mortar being crushed between flesh fists interrupted his speech. He twirled and spotted the one he had felt earlier; the one he had dismissed as no threat at all. Some great rage had overtook him, and he appeared to be taking it out on Fukushu.
Two spears came hurtling at the Heran, with the stranger soon following after them. But this was no Human in flight, as his transformation would soon reveal. This was a Saiyan, who shifted into the mighty Oozaru right before his eyes. It was a transformation he had wanted to see in person during his visit to Plant, but never found the opportunity to do so. Now that he had seen it he found himself... disappointed in the results. Mid flight the boy spat out a beam much similar to his own, which brought a smile to the Heran's face once more.
"You see how they flatter me? Let me show you how it's really done!" Fuksuhu threw open his jaw and fired another Kochi'kosen blast. This time the attack was aimed at the beast, and the two spears he had thrown earlier. He pulled his mouth as wide as it could go, and used his hands to fan the attack out in each direction, shifting it from a thin piercing strike into a wide, all-engulfing attack which he sought to use to consume the Oozaru and his spears whole.
If the beast could not stop the attack then Fukushu would seek to push his corpse into the city below, ideally taking as many skyscrapers down with him as possible. He didn't like attacking again so soon now that the old man had revealed himself to be more combative than previously thought, but he wanted this threat dealt with as soon as possible. "I think he shall be the first truth death today; the first to die a warriors death. More than I can say for the fools below."
None had answered his call. He expected not many to show, but he had hoped for at least a handful to take his cause. Instead he stood alone, ever more isolated now that the old stranger was questioning him. Their failure to heed him had only strengthened his wroth for the city; they weren't deserving of any saviors today. Whether or not he managed to kill the beast right now he knew that it'd be incapacitated; that gave him time to take turn his attention back to the old man.
"Would you even understand if I explained my motives to you? You'd have to live my life to know why I do what I do." If this was really his turf then there was no way he'd be able to convince him to help aid it's destruction, but maybe he could buy himself some time by distracting him. Let his flunkey weaken the others, and let him rest from those two previous attacks. "I was once a cutthroat; without morals or remorse. This planet has made me soft, but the fires of East City will rebirth a new villain that all will come to fear."
The thrill was certainly there. The stakes were as high as they'd ever been before. Even in his prime as a pirate and a smuggler he'd never held so many lives in the palm of his hand. To have so many people's very existence depend on you... it was a high that no drug could replicate. These fools would never understand what that kind of power was like; you have to be born with the sort of steel to handle it. Some cower at the first glimpse of power like Celerous did, but Fukushu reveled it in.
"East City is a crap hole; why didn't you choose a better place to plant your flag?" The rising power coming from the old man was not lost on Fukushu. Though he couldn't be precise without a scouter he had to judge them around even in strength, though he felt he had a slight advantage. Despite his age he was clearly a fearsome warrior, which brought back to mind the confusion over never encountering him before. Who was this damned old man?
"Those bolts of lightning suppose to frighten me? If your scouter works then you know I'm stronger than you are, so don't even try that sort of shit. You can try and protect your turf, and maybe you win... or maybe you die. Is this the kind of place you want to die over though? Help me get rid of these fools and blow up the city. I'm the kind of friend you want to have. I'm the most powerful being on the planet, and I can promise you a much better prize than East City."
You don't get to be as strong as this guy was without also being ambitious. East City may have been his 'turf' but even he wouldn't be able to deny it was the least valuable of all Earth's cities. But between the two of them they could accomplish a lot. He didn't want to blow up all of Earth after all; where was the sense in that? East City's destruction had many purposes, not all of which he needed to reveal to people he didn't yet trust.
His plans extended to every city on Earth, and the old man could find himself with a much wealthier seat should he choose to align himself with Fukushu. "Well? What's it gonna be?"
