Kon's PL: 5,000
The past few days had been some of the most stressful days of her life. She didn't feel as horrible when they sat her in front of the principal and announced to everyone in the room that she was no longer welcome at her school. It wasn't as bad when she and her old group of friends would run away from the cops, laughing at their latest prank that they carried out. Hell, this was far worse than the first time they placed handcuffs on her and locked her behind the bars. But now that Kon knew the taste of freedom after months of being stuck in a jail cell, she simply couldn't let go.
By now there would probably be a manhunt searching for her, seeing how she was not only dangerous but also a fugitive. If they were to catch her now, the possibility of escaping would be slim to none and she would be stuck behind bars for the rest of her life. Fuck that. Kon much preferred the death penalty over wasting away in a cell for the rest of her life. She had already painstakingly tried to conceal her own identity, shedding the disgusting orange uniform they forced her to wear, in favor of some clothes she had managed to find in a dumpster. It was gross, but it was still better than risking her freedom by wearing that eyesore. As much as she wanted to just tear her skin off and take a shower, she would have to hold on.
For now, all she could do was repeat the address she saw on that card a year ago.
That card that found her way into her pocket was still a mystery to her. She didn't know how it got there, but the moment she laid eyes on it, Kon knew that it was her final saving grace. As such, she poured her heart and soul into memorizing it, knowing that they would eventually take it away from her. Now that she had managed to escape, it was time to see what fruit this simple business card would bear. After spending the past few days doing her best to avoid the public eye, stealing food and water just to survive, and operating on minimal sleep, Kon was simply ready to give up. If this all amounted to nothing, she simply didn't know what to do. This simply couldn't fail.
After leering around the street one last time for good measure, she would dart across, sticking close to the buildings and avoiding the light of the streetlights. The chances of getting spotted were slim considering it was already past midnight and the sun wouldn't be rising for a few more hours at the very least, however, it didn't hurt to be cautious. Once she had found herself standing in front of the door of what she thought was the correct building, Kon would ready herself, prepared for anything that could happen. For all she knew this could be a trap, but she really hoped that it wasn't. With no other option left, she knocked as loud as she possibly could.
