Slugish Dealings

His eyes were quite shifty and his attention would easily be lost every passing second that Nasu spent in the midst of the festival. It was no secret that Nasu did not really 'not care' about mundane things unlike other members of his kin but he did almost like them. Things like these were quite common in his kingdom, where most of the time you would end up having entire communities forming in the middle of a giant, commercial area filled with stables and small shops ran by just anyone who dared try to sell their goods.

It was also no secret that brawls were quite common in that place. How many times did Nasu have to intervene himself instead of dispatching one troop of his knights, and yet at least here it looked completely peaceful.

A street fair. A familiar word that briefly snapped him to a past moment in time. It was not too long ago, perhaps a year at best and yet it felt like entire years had passed since the time he had first made his way to Earth together with Cheri. Just how much had things changed? Things felt a lot simpler back then, and now a sealed demon rested within his soul.

"They are. I have seen something similar on Earth, but we would not stay for far too long. I kind of needed a change of clothes since most of my savings had been spent for an awkward Earthling style outfit. Trust me, it was even weirder than what I have on right now."

Of course he spoke of the wooden shoes, for the most part. The dark baggy pants were alright, and so was the long top. It did not reach the level of length alike of a skirt but it did reach up until some inches above his knees. It was crimson blood colored, at least. Not a bad choice for a color. But he was already planning for another change in his style, not that it would help him turn the page from the demon accident but it could be a first step.

What a funny timing. But they were not there for clothes now, but rather the most intimate resource one could yearn for: food, and that was... wait, where was Erebos? Nasu blinked quietly and just looked around much like a child that had lost their mom at the supermarket, had his mind grown so powerful that even mere thoughts managed to undo his attention? Yeah, probably not.

Thankfully there was one thing that Erebos and Nasu never did: hide their power. He could still sense his presence, and thus he began catching up with a swift and quick pace, by the time he could see the silhouette and eventually reach him, he would tap him briefly on the shoulder with his closed fist.

"Sorry. Things got a little nostalgic. Anyways! What was that about seeing the future? Is that really possible? Would that not be too much of an advantage in a fight?"

Would that not be too convenient? It would make fights a piece of cake if one could see ahead into the future. It felt like cheating, honestly. But he was still a little interested to witness the result.

Nasu felt a little strange about this case honestly. An unidentified individual just came and knocked out some strangers. Apparently they were 'vandals', so perhaps it could have meant that this guy was actually good. However, it was also true that Nasu knew nothing of Namek but one who did was Erebos and therefore he felt like he still had to trust in his opinion. It was true that back in his youth Nasu used to take care of petty criminals himself but it was very different circumstances, as that was kind of his job.

But this character not only was masked but also had a name that did not share an exactly good meaning. Yes, Nasu did exchange a few side-eyes with Erebos at that point. This was very suspicious. But the Saiyan let Erebos handle this part, at least a good bunch of it. He could see from the short distance anyways that those dudes were out cold indeed, he did not know what to make of it, he was one guest himself.

"You could look possessed if you pop off that aura of darkness you used last time, Erebos."

It was an interesting technique, worthy of his heritage as a demon in looks as well. But he did not know what this Renegade was really after, but he did not look like your typical fighter. He wore the kind of stuff someone who was deep down into an activity would, so perhaps it could be worth investigating a little more.

"If you need the motivation, that is, Renegade. Let this remain among us, but it is not like you would lose much by fighting Erebos, perhaps you could learn a thing or two."

Nasu leaned down towards Erebos, of course. Even if the statement vibrated awkwardly with the Saiyan, it did apply to him as well, after all. But anyway, he did feel like He could not materialize a glove himself but he did rest a palm ahead least to cover his lips the moment he whispered back.

"Last time I fought a masked guy he was some double agent that caused a lot of trouble on Plant. Renegade also is a strange name. Yeah, I think he might be up to something."
