Well then, that was a shame. Kanna was really hoping that the soldiers would submit to her, but once again she was just seen as another monster. "I gave you my word and you didn't want to trust me," she said shaking her head mockingly. Maybe she could just drop the illusions right now, but honestly, she was having a bit too much fun in this body. Besides, she didn't particularly enjoy having witnesses of any sort. Honestly, she was surprised that the mercenary didn't seem as intimidated as the others, which made things rather boring. Honestly, why did he have to be such a party pooper like that?

Whilst the man was busy with his power up or whatever that was, Kanna decided to take matters into her own hands. The shadows below the soldiers suddenly solidified into spikes, piercing into the flesh of these saiyan soldiers as if they weren't wearing armor in the first place. "A soldier that doesn't listen to his commander is good as dead," she commented as she allowed the body to fall down with a wet plop. Honestly, she didn't particularly care as to what he had to say. "Just get it over with already," she said as she gathered the shadows once again, allowing them to swirl around her feet. She could definitely feel his power swirling, to the point where it exceeded her own power. Huh, he was actually a lot stronger than she had initially anticipated.

The strength she sensed wasn't for show either, seeing as the form change had the strength behind it to prove it. For now, she had taken the punch, clearly curious as to how strong he was. Stumbling back a few steps, the mercenary was ready to slash her with the sword he held and that was unfortunately all she could focus on.

A weapon. He had a weapon that she could use. Since she had inhabited this body, she had been searching for something to use. While her skill at hand-to-hand combat was not terrible, it was with a sword where her skill had definitely began to shine. She needed that sword more than ever, and she wouldn't think twice about taking a life in exchange for it at this point. 

Immediately her body began to react, the shadows underneath her lurching upwards to form a shield. It wouldn't fully protect her, but it gave Kanna the time that she needed to jump back. "Hey kid, why don't you give me that sword of yours? If you do, I'll leave you alone. Hell, maybe I'll even show you the body that you so desperately wanted. Seems like a fair enough deal to me." The look on her smile was innocent, but the dark aura that was growing around her body had more insidious tones. The rush of power in her body was sorely missed, but painful to hold in such a fragile form. Her red eyes gleamed even brighter than it had before. "Deal?" Paruseli's voice was gone and now she was speaking in Kanna's voice, the real one. 

    Surprised, he jumped away from the enemy and analyzed the situation, realizing all Saiyan soldiers had been killed by their shadows. Their bodies deformed and contorted with expressions of pain and agony. Maxsuz grunted in disappointed. It was never his intention to kill any of them, especially in their weakened states, yet the entity in front of him showed no mercy. Struggling to resist his rage in that transformed state, he stated his feelings.

    "You really are monster, aren't you. Something truly evil."

    The impostor absorbed the shadows back into it, as its power skyrocketed to ridiculous levels. It was so massive, Maxsuz knew just from feeling it he did not stand a chance. Was that the creature's full power? If so, then the bounty hunter was in deep peril. However, the monster did not seem interested in killing him, yet. In fact, it looked like it had taken a liking to the Argin's blade, offering a trade in its true voice: his sword for his life.

    Even as nervous as he was, Maxsuz could not help himself, but laugh a little.

    "You really don't anything about the Himônus kind, do you? Our alkálipes are bound to their owner. No one else can wield Fenrhus, and if I die, it turns into dust with me."

    Just as the situation was getting out of control, the powerful demon who had been following Maxsuz across the entire journey finally showed up.

    "There you are. I was wondering if you had legged it. I got to be honest with you. While I didn't want you to interfere, if things went further South, we would hit Salada Capital."

    The demon lifted three fingers to him. The Argin understood what it meant. He had felt it. It offered a partnership to battle the shadowy creature. Maxsuz had no choice in the matter. It was either accepting it or dying to the monster. With their powers combined, they could beat it, even if they were weaker separately.

    "You spoke my mind. This mission has become way more difficult than I had ever anticipated. Tell you what: you help me kill this thing, and we can share the reward when we get back to the outpost."

Kanna - Sesame

Maxsuz seemed ready for the two of them to fight as one. Good, Sesame was ready to go and fight. Sesame raised his arms upward. Sesame then turned his head to face the shadow demon. He allowed the demon to talk her head off but Sesame was tuning it out. He was mentally focusing himself to fight. Sesame had to be ready to fight against this creature. Mentally preparing himself to mentally face off with this shadow demon. He knew they were dangerous creatures and making a mistake would not be good. Furthermore, he was fighting with a weaker ally. He could power up to get this done but he didn’t wanna let the demon escape. Powering up right away was a good way to get their foe toe scape. He was sure the shadow demon was not going to be able to escape.

After a long amount of build up the battle began. Sesame opened his eyes as Kanna moved in to attack Maxsuz That made sense but just as quickly, Kanna moved towards him instead. It was smart, to win a two-on-one fight you needed to throw them off guard. Sesame didn’t have much time to attack back so he just screamed out “RAHHH!” A powerful sound wave came out of his lungs. The swords cut through the shield and sent him flying back. Blood flew from his shoulders that were cut open. But as he staggered back his leg flew upwards to slam on Kanna’s chin and knock the demon down.

It seemed as if both of her opponents were just finished talking and wanted to fight. That was a shame, especially when fights typically produced such nice bonding material. Granted, at the very least the demon especially made a really good fighting partner, giving her hope for her former species at least. They still weren't a pushover, as one of her shadow swords was momentarily stopped by a sound shield that he had conjured, although it was for naught as with a bit more of effort she had managed to push him back. However, as combat had already started, her sense were sharp as she lifted her other sword up to defend herself from an upcoming kick. It had definitely pushed her back and broken her balance, although not enough to completely make her fall backwards.

However, her sensitive ears had picked up something flying quickly towards her. Maybe falling down wasn't a bad idea at all. Instantly the shadows underneath her came to wrap around her waist, pulling her back up to her feet and allowing her to narrowly dodge the energy slash that Maxsuz had sent towards her. "Not bad teamwork," she commented as she attempted to regain her footing. "However, you seem strong. You should join me." Kanna said, offering a hand out towards Sesame. "Strong demons like you are a rarity, and with our strength combined, you can get far richer than whatever silly bounty you have on what's his name's head."

Now she turned her attention towards Maxsuz. "I think you need a bit more work but you have potential, although maybe I can be convinced if you can survive this!" With a flick of her wrists, the shadowy swords in her hands soon extended forward, turning into whip like tendrils as they snaked across the air towards her opponent. She had aimed to smack his arms twice in order to knock the sword out of his hands. As much as she preferred to feel the sensation of her blade sinking into flesh, shadows were unfortunately not corporeal enough to do so such a task. This was the next best option she had for now. 
 

    Maxsuz' attack did put a crosshair on him, however, as the monster focused her attention on getting him out of the equation for her next move. With her incredible abilities, she summoned what looked like tentacles of darkness and launched them in frankly ridiculous speeds at the Himônus. The tendrils aimed for his arms, and with barely enough time to understand what was happening, they smacked the bounty hunter's limbs with such force he felt like his bones had been cracked. The Argin immediately dropped his alkálipe and kneeled down on the sand, trying not to scream from the pain.

    It would be best for both him and his ally if he would stay out of the fight for the moment and wait for his bones to regenerate. As far as he could see, Sesame had the power to deal with the creature on his own for some time. There was only one thing the mercenary could do to truly help them win, and that would require him to recover.

    Now, he heard the monster say some interesting things to Sesame. She offered him a chance to work with her, calling him a rare demon. The Himônus started wondering if that shadowmancer was somehow part of the same species as his companion. Maxsuz made sure he would not be convinced by such offering.

    "Trust me, Sesame. If there's something I've learned throughout the decades in mine line of work, it's to never believe the word of someone who is trying to kill you."

    The demon used the opening from the impostor attacking the Argin to summon yet another of his sound-based techniques and attack their common enemy.

Kanna - Sesame

Sesame chuckled as she wanted to lead. If only she knew how strong he was but he just cracked a smile at that after his small fit of laughter. That would be focused on defeating her for the time being. Because Maxsuz had made some fair points. She did just kill those she was working with on a whim. That did seem to be her response in those sorts of situations. Then again he was one taking the hit from the Kanna which...didn't look too great to be honest. He was really the small fry of the group. But he was fighting hard, and he had given him a nice opening. If Maxsuz got even stronger then he'd be a pretty big threat, to be honest.

He was able to rush in and slam a palm right into their chest knocking them back. But as they did he true form was being revealed. Guess taking a heavy blow like that would show off who they truly were. It at least confirmed she was not a Saiyan and something else. Sesame raised his palm as it was smoking. He glanced at Maxsuz. "Recover some strength. Give me support. Your a lot weaker than us." Sesame words came out but Kanna didn't hear them only Maxsuz. He used his ability to create a soundless communication link so the two of them could plan an attack without being heard. With that Sesame rushed forward to attack Kanna. He threw out first a kick towards the midsection. He would then flip to slam an elbow into her jaw before ending the combo with a two-palmed strike to the ribcage.
