Deep within the Korin Forest was the ancient home of Hazel, it was a massive dark Victorian style mansion. The home was nestled between the dense trees and at the back of the house, a greenhouse led into the forest.
The home was 3 stories with many rooms of all sorts, the third floor was off limits, and the second floor consisted of mostly bedrooms with their own spacious bathrooms, an upstairs common area, and a large study overlooking the greenhouse flora. The first floor had an elegant library, a living room with a rather large fireplace that led into a decorative dining room, and a large kitchen filled with vials of all sorts, in fact the whole home was filled with strange and unique kicknacks making the home feel like it belonged to a witch.
She had it restored to its pior glory, only adding a handful of modern technology to it's classic Victorian interior style. The hallways were long and lined with dark mahogany wood with many lovely carved details, and high ceilings. It was like if you didn't focus where you were going it would almost feel as if the hallways shifted, making the large house like a maze at times.
Now the bedrooms themselves were almost lavish in luxury of the old Victorian style, a fireplace in each room as well as quite a bit of remodeled and refurbished furniture. With large beds with curtains that could hang over the bed. In one of these rooms lie the wounded Kon, on a plush mattress. The most damaged parts of her body like her leg and wrist had been treated with a cooling, mostly pain numbing and slow healing salve, then wrapped in bandages. And even a set of discarded changed bandages on the nightstand beside her.
Hazel sat in one of the chairs in the corner of the room fast asleep; she wore black shorts and a cropped teal t-shirt, peeking just beneath her shirt were her own bandages around her rib cage. This would be the first time she would have her glamor down around Kon, but being in her own home Hazel found no reason to hide her own scars. It had been a little more than a day after their battle with out of control Kon, Hazel was exhausted from treating her own injuries and constantly caring for Kon's burns, hoping she could minimize the scarring but it was a little bit of a thin hope for her leg and wrists.
On the table next to Hazel was a slew of medical items such as bandages, gauze, blunt scissors, and many of her own concoctions of healing salves. And not far from her on one of the rugs slept a rather big crocodile with dog-like structured legs.
With her treating Kon so carefully she had not had the chance to really talk to dairy about the situation yet other than he wasn't allowed to come into her room. And she genuinely put her foot down on this matter. Well she understood both sides, she still felt the need to protect Kon and try to help her.
And in the study on the second floor was Hazel's sister, Hawthorne, she had been asked to look at someone they met on Plant, and help figure out the technology put on him. Since Hawthorne has been such a long time studying the tefl technology she had some confidence she could help figure out what it was and how it worked. Hawthorne was looking over a schematic for a new machine she wanted to build, possibly helping the mortal creature called Kon that Hazel wanted to heal. Not that she had any attachment to this fragile mortal child but she would help her sister when asked and even when not.
