Generally, field missions fell to... literally any other of the members in the Dirty Snakes. Satanael was not particularly fond of working directly with the gun-toting possibly maniacal criminals that Derry employed as his muscle but sometimes duty called. Realistically this was just a small-time deal with a local gang centered around the Yahhoy area, with the proposition being a legal agreement to merge local business fronts for an upfront payment. For the gang, it was a large upfront payday and for the Snakes, it was a long-term investment into solidifying control of the region. Satanael was present since, for once, actual legal paperwork was required to be agreed upon and they just so happened to already be in the area. Given their position with the Dirty Snakes they could've refused with no fear of punishment from the boss, but Satanael begrudgingly decided to just make things run smoother. Better they step in now than leave the job to a half-assed attorney that causes issues down the line. As by the laws of criminals the deal was to take place in the midst of the night at a dilapidated warehouse near the water. The Snakes envoy consisted of themselves, five armed men, and the main negotiator.
Said negotiator was a fresh hire, an obvious assumption you could make even without having known beforehand thanks to their nervous cadence about everything going on around them. From what Satanael knew they were a half-breed Demon, with an absent devilish father and a deceased human mother. How tragic. "First time?" Satanael broke the silence of the tinted escort vehicle, flashing a bright and toothy smile at the girl who jumped a bit in surprise. The guards and driver didn't pay him much mind, knowing better than to try and reprimand the attorney. The girl looked around a bit nervously, obviously unsure if the men would treat her with the same level of respect. "That's alright. You get used to it. Though seeing as you're jumpier than a hare in the spring I can see why they also wanted me here." It seemed the request was more than to just officiate some papers, but to step in and mentor for a budding negotiations expert. Sigh. They could do it of course with their excellent skillset, but to be slightly tricked into it was a tad bit annoying. "At the least grant me your name - or the name you wish to be known by. Depending on your performance I'll speak highly of it to our mutual benefactor."
"Lucy." Odd enough it was to pick a rookie for a deal like this, but with her quiet demeanor and nervous habits it seemed to be a huge sign of weakness that just begged for the gang on the opposite end of the deal to double-cross them. Satanael sighed silently, fingers tapping on the car door as they approached their destination. "Do your best to speak up and sound confident in there, yeah?" There was the crack theory that the deal was meant to go south but not too south and then Satanael could be there to enforce the Snakes' will as a show of force over just pretending to view a street gang as equals. ...That'd definitely never happen though, right? The time came for the group to exit their armored vehicles, stepping out unto the brisky muggy air of the port town. A few stray streetlights lit up the path to the rendevous point, the lawyer feeling a bit apprehensive at how the entire situation was unfolding so far. With a small grunt in concentration, the Demon's form shifted to more of a vantablack tone with a pair of piercing yellow eyes and a faint scarlet outline. Not only was their power much higher now, but it'd help long term with obfuscating their identity.
