The day's beginning, trying to meet with Erebos, had no signs of a storm approaching the island of Papaya. However, nearing the afternoon that day, it soon became apparent that one was. The sun was blanketed by dense blue and gray clouds looming over the city. The waters in Yahhoy Port were churning with ever increasing violent froth that rose closer and closer to the concrete floor! Aboard the Cayenne, a large trawler that just fell short of being considered a super trawler at 60 feet in length with 2 large silos for billowing out gases that build up inside the ship's engine!
The vessel was finely secured, but in an effort to make sure things didn't go amiss in the storm, Alaistair and his crew were aboard, running checks. The mostly demonic crew were equipped with radios, which were being heavily used to communicate statuses on the important parts of the vessel. So far, their checks had been green. The crew mates checking the ship's hull were having difficulty in the currents, even with their life support lines keeping them tied to the ship. Alaistair was having the crew mates coming out of the ship's interior to keep an eye on their lines. He didn't like how choppy the water was looking.
He wound up looking over the rails, to make certain nothing was amiss as well. If there was, he was going to pull each of his people out and bring them on deck! Alaistair was going to treat them all to some lobster bisque later on, provided nothing bad happened. One by one, the men came out of the water and climbed their lines, stating their sections were clear! This put a smile on the Boss's face, as he shouted, "Alright, we're gonna be getting off at this point! The Cayenne won't be going anywhere in this approaching storm... So who's up for some Lobster Bisque?"
The crew cheered and they all made their way down to the pier. Alaistair remained on the ship longer, looking at the storm. It struck him as odd... What was going on?
