Earth was quite the planet. From what he saw of the Earthlings on Namek he had assumed he would be wanting to leave as quickly as he had arrived. Yet with just a few days of experience his eyes were somewhat opened. If nothing else it was diverse; it wasn't difficult too find a slice you liked and settle there. Of course the sparsely settled marshes and meadows had helped him feel at home, but the cities, and now the Budokai Tenkaichi grounds, were something else entirely. Even when on Plant he had never seen so many people congregate to one spot before; there must have been more people here than on all of Namek!
So many thoughts, so many egos populated these grounds; and what for? To win a bit Zeni? That's what they dedicated their lives to? Was the Namekian any better though? At least he fought for a cause, right? He thought he did. Just what the Hell was he doing on Earth anyway? He told himself he was here to find allies, yet every second he spent away from Namek felt like a betrayal to everything he believed in. How could he confront his brothers over their off-worlder adventures; spit in their face like he did then go ahead and do the very same? Such thoughts made him question what he was even fighting for.
Maybe he just needed a break. Ever since he had left Namek it had been non-stop intensity and adrenaline (or the slug-man equivalent) and now he was mingling with the worlds--no, the galaxies best fighters. One battle lead to another, lead to another, lead to here; with such volatile personalities he could see where things were going. He blew off the Earthling he was sparing with and tried to find a place out back he could hide away from them all; a bit of a breather might help make sense of things. He found a little garden centered around a pond not too far away from the training ground and took a seat on the bench under the shade.
Maybe he was feeling a bit homesick after all; some of the places he'd visited made for a decent imitation, but never a replacement. The people had been kind to him for the most part; why couldn't they be the ones to settle on Namek? Had they set up some sort of penal colony on his home without anyone noticing? But that's why he was here; to change things. To find a way out of the hole his people had dug him into. He lay on the bench now, and from the pond came a frog whose colors reminded him of a species native to Namek, which made him smile.
"Maybe we aren't too different after all."
