Circumstances Aside

Zuqetta blade lifted as she watched Kronos pull himself from the impact site, her eyes narrowing on the boy. She was finally able to take it all in, the pressure of protecting those around lifted from her shoulders. who she thought to be a man, even if a young one, truly was no more than a boy. Certainly of an age near to her own, but even with a Saiyan's youthfulness, she could tell he was shy of his prime. Perhaps it was due to being part Tuffle? Regardless, it really didn't matter; boy or man, if he sought to do harm, Zuqetta was ready for him.

Yet, there was no harm to come... at least not physically, and not directly towards herself or others.

Kronos stumbled and swayed, a deep passion in his eyes waxing and waning as he began to speak. Zuqetta's blade lowered, from the get go it was easy to tell he was admitting defeat, he in fact spelled it out immediately. His self-depreciation continued, but it was when he tossed his blade that Zuqetta would realize the fight was truly done.

The words he spoke next however, would cause her to flinch... He wanted to "die" for something? Like a hero??

A small anger festered in Zuqetta's chest as she heard the words; Kronos went on, speaking on his previous goal of killing and his new lack of interest in such a thing. To Zuqetta, it was natural to NOT want to kill someone, to to hear that he thought it was a good idea for even a moment, she couldn't help but seethe.

Zuqetta approached, her grip around her blade tightening as her eyes shot daggers through Kronos. She would grab at the collar of his shirt and jacket, her hand shaking slightly with anger. She took a deep breath, her hand gripped around the handle of her katana tight enough the the failing of the metal could be her, the straps with bound the grip beginning to fray. Kronos stood a head taller than her, yet as Zuqetta pulled her head back, she seemed to almost look down on him. Then, without hesitation, Kronos would receive what he had coming...

"You... IDIOT!!!!"

As Zuqetta screamed, she'd pull Kronos in, delivering a swift headbutt to his own forehead before releasing him to relish in the pain.

Despite her Super Saiyan form, she refrained from putting said Super Saiyan strength behind the strike. She neither wanted to kill him nor knock him out, and so relied solely on non-enhanced physical ability, something that brought equal measure of pain to her own forehead and may have even left Kronos feeling hardly anything at all. The pain on her own forehead was of no concern however, her focus being on Kronos and their conversation.

"What makes you think I want to DO anything!? What exactly were you expecting!?" she'd exclaim, dispelling her blade, "I don't even know you! I don't understand a thing about you! And you never gave me the chance to do so!" she'd explain, face red with frustration, "I didn't want ta hurt you, and certainly don't wanna kill you, but you were placing others in danger, STUPID!"

Her tail smacked the ground aggressively, her power flaring up around her as she lashed out at him. She'd pause for a moment, taking several quick breaths to calm, but evident by her continued Super Saiyan form, she was still far from calm.

"And you think "dying for a cause" makes you a hero!? I-- that's the stupidest--- GAHHH!!" Zuqetta's tail would smash against the ground once more, causing a small crater to form as she began to pace back and forth, "Those are the WORST superhero comics!!! What's the point if you're not there ta be with the people you care about afterwards!? If you're not there to witness the change you fought for!?" she'd question, a rather controversial comic opinion, "I don't wanna kill you, I didn't even wanna fight you! I'm sorry about whatever you went through, but that has nothing ta do with me!!"

She huffed, finally stopping for more than a moment, brow furrowed as she looked back towards Kronos. She was on the edge, the precipice of her own stupidity, that much was clear; tears were in her eyes, threatening to flow, but she would quickly turn her back from Kronos to prevent him from seeing.

"Heroes don't try to kill people... and they don't go LOOKING for a fight, idiot..." her voice was much more calm, yet her aggressive jabs remained, "Don't die for a cause... fight for one, sure, but don't DIE for it..."

She'd shake her head lightly, her blond hair covering he majority of her form from behind where Kronos couldn't see. Even still, it'd be easy to see her arms lift to her face momentarily, the girl wiping her eyes, before she'd continue with a confused tone of her own.

"What am I even saying..." she'd remark, taking a long steady breath before looking upward and whispering, "Cheri won't be happy." she'd turn slightly, her redden eyes glancing at Kronos for a moment before she'd look away, "You're not dying OR going to jail! I already beat you up, and no one else got hurt... so there's no reason ta send you to jail..."

She'd give Kronos a moment to process the information, whether it brought joy, annoyance, or anything else to him though, she didn't care. Calming down properly herself, she'd wipe once more at her eyes, hoping her crying wasn't too obvious, before turning back to Kronos with a stern gaze.

"Now tell me who you are, and why you were doing all that, or I'll hit ya again!" she'd demand, her tail sweeping violently across the ground behind her as she raised a clutched fist.
