There was a pang in Tunic's chest as Kronos pulled away. Something she could not quite place, but she did not like it. in that brief moment she felt a disquieting loneliness, a feeling that something held for only a moment was gone... and it pained her. What was it? Why did she feel momentarily fragmented? These questions rattled her, everything washing over her in only a matter of seconds. The same, while brief, has the pale blue eyes of the Eathling girl locked on the Saiyan. He was the cause of this yearning, and she knew it, but she still didn't know what it meant... Tunic's eyes narrowed on the onlookers crowd, glaring daggers at them all with a look that could kill. Adjusting her dress, she made sure the crest of Baskerville was visible to everyone. Lest they do anything to upset her further. But her edge was lost as her gaze turned back to Kronos. He eluded her, and now more than ever that bothered her, clawing ar the back of her mind and she wanted to say ao thing, but the words escaped her. Leaving her just watching him, focused on his words, his actions. "W-Well of course!" Tunic sputtered. caught off guard by the Saiyan's association of her playful tease in calling him her knight and in the affections she gave him. Raising the back of her hand to her face, tilting her head back to look 'down' on Kronos all in an effort to hide the blush. "It is all but expected for a princess to show appreciation to her knight. And if you are my knight, that only goes to reason..." Tunic trailed off, looking away before the whole charade caused hee face to blossom into a crimson red. Taking slow breaths, letting herself clam down, she turned back to the Saiyan. Tunic felt another tease of conflicting emotions as Kronos expressed an interest in staying. On one hand, this was a great opportunity to try and ease his hesitance, that unease she saw in his memories weighed heavy in her mind. But in the other hand, this crowd seemed to make the Saiyan wary, That alone made closing that distance between them harder. But she chose to bear with it and smile, gripping her slender fingers around his hand as he pulled her along, a tinge of excitement fluttering in her chest as he led her along. The halls themselves, each themed to an aspect of Earth culture, were themselves rather ornate and well decorated. But every exhibit and every word from the guide flew past Tunic, her mind rapt with so much else and her focus completely shot. |
