A light jog was all he undertook, but Vocado reached the truck and vaulted over it just the same. From his vantage point atop the ruined machinery, he summoned another flicker of Ki, and took aim. It was kind of hard to miss, considering how fragile these things seemed to be. Narrowing his eyes, he rested his arm on the machine, and fired.
-boom... Boom... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!-
The explosion was near-cataclysmic. It shook the ground to its very core, toppling the building and a few surrounding ones as well. Little did Vocado know, just ONE of those charges would've been more than enough to level the building. Nobody here would care, but the Tuffle they'd run into and summarily killed was a member of a terraforming squad. Their admittedly rather Saiyan-like plan was to bomb out the very worms Vocado and Vennel had just scared off. Once that was done, they could level and reform the lands here. Now though, that'd never happen.
Vocado shook his head, clearing smoke from his eyes. It felt like the aftershock took a few solid hours to subside, but in reality it was little more than a few moments.
What sat before them was both awe-striking and terrible. The chasm was gone, now caved in with mountains of rubble. Whatever building they had been planning on using was little more than ash atop the pile. He hadn't realized it at first, but the truck he was bracing himself on was a good hundred feet away, now lodged in the corner of a wall.
Falling to the ground with a thud, Vocado leapt to his feet and dusted himself off. "Vennel? Ven? Where you at soldier? Report in!"
He always got a little more military when he was nervous.
