Well that settled it, in all but official paperwork she was a new member of the Shredder Corps. It'd take getting used to, but she finally had herself another crew to call her own. Hopefully these ones wouldn't end up being new technique names for her, an honor reserved for those she'd served with and lost in the war. But he seemed keen to accepting her condition, and not that she expected him to completely live up to his terms, she at least hoped to never end up losing it on the battlefield any time soon. Not again.
But that was when Vocado noticed something. Vennel perked up and her eyes followed him as he went outside and until he said it, she'd not even noticed. Her companion was correct, and the rain had seriously let up. That was good news. She nodded to him as he started gathering their things. She moved to do the same until she instinctively tried moving her savaged arm and was given another painful reminder of why that was a bad idea. Begrudgingly, she allowed him to gather their things for them as she made her way steadily towards the entrance. "Yeah, I think this will do," she commented, mostly to herself as she craned her head to look up towards the sky, where she could see the edge of the storm a good ways away.
She was in a bad way, but she was fairly certain she could manage the trip to (relative) safety. She'd certainly have to, at any rate. "Yeah," she replied back to Vocado. "Its now or never, me thinks." Vennel looked back towards the man, "I'd offer to help carry some supplied but..." her voice trailed off as she nodded towards her arm. "I can manage something small enough for my other hand though," she said offering to carry perhaps a sack or two in the hand. She could sling it over her shoulder to lessen the burden, hopefully help themselves travel further faster. But then again, they didn't have too much equipment with them in the first place.
"Where're we headed anyways, boss," she said, winking at him as she called him by his new title. She wasn't sure how she felt about it, or if it'd even stick, but for now it was at least a playful way to refer to him after his recent proposition.
