What is Fun?

Chord was still reeling from defending against their opponent's last attack. It had taken a bit out of them to block her might, to be quite honest, and even more to scream at her with such vitriol, but thankfully Vespa was there to kee up the assault while they recovered. Though... truthfully, they weren't sure either of them were doing much damage to that red bubblegum of a woman, whatever holes they blew on her form ended up getting reformed in an instant, and every cut that Chord had viciously struck her with was healed in just an instant as well! Catching their breath, even though they didn't need to breathe... the Android would get ready to charge in for another attack, before stopping in their tracks.

The man's face was the last thing they expected out of that woman, and with those wide eyes of theirs, it was clear Chord was shocked. They weren't sure what to do for a brief moment, but... all of their sensors screamed in their head that it was the perfect opportunity to attack now that she was distracted, focused on taunting the blonde automaton. Whether or not Vespa's gunfire would strike its target or not, Chord didn't really care. It wasn't a stretch to say that they were blinded, tunnel visioned on letting the enemy feel their full might at that point! Whatever expectations they had to solve this in a way that would get that man out of the Majin's body and get her off this island without hurting her too badly had gone out the window!

Regardless of the results of Vespa's attack, the musician Android had rushed forth with incredible speeds! This time, they wouldn't even attack with that weaponized instrument of theirs, they'd just try to connect their right fist with Hex's face. Any of them, they didn't care as long as they could let out that frustration and anger on her body! If it had hit, it was probably strong enough to make that bubbly, malleable body of hers fly away, though... with it being that soft, it was unlikely to do much damage, even if whatever was in the way - carnival attractions, stalls or buildings - got decimated in the process of her full-speed body impacting with them.

They didn't take so much as a moment to breathe. Whether the strike connected or not, their hands gripped onto their edged, jagged guitar once more. Chord's violet eyes sparked with that electric energy of theirs, and their energy soared! Whatever they were about to do would take everything out of them, one didn't even need to be close enough to feel the sheer pressure of their building power to understand that. They'd harshly strum their hand once against all the strings of that guitar, the sound loud enough to drown out anything else that might've filled the two women's ears, before it would all coalesce into a sphere of crackling, unstable energy right in front of Chord. It was like the smaller spheres that they'd launched Hex's way before, only... it was clear the damage this one could do was devastating! The ground right below it was disintegrating into dust, rising into the air as it'd get incinerated by the power of this building attack.

"I'll show you how fun it is to turn into cosmic dust!" How droll. Chord was more fun when they weren't so angry that it was like they'd pop a fuse. "Take this! Full Power Vibrato!!!" Yet another strum resounded from the instrument. This time, it was to launch the sphere onward. It was unfocused, crackled like it was unstable, and its trajectory was erratic. But that didn't matter - the sphere would grow and swell with power, grinding against the ground and leaving behind a trail of burnt, incinerated grass, dirt and whatever else wherever it'd impact. Though, it seemed like it would only explode once it met with its target. To say it was homing in on Hex would be an overstatement, it was more like it lazily tracked her general direction... after all, if it was big enough, it wouldn't need to be so precise in its aiming.
