BACKGROUND: Chord had been constructed on the Earth, the creation of an unimportant man with a rather important lineage, and grand, destructive plans. Through generations, the man's ancestors had always been intrigued with Android technology, and the awesome strength that they could tap into with the power of science and human ingenuity. Chord hadn't been made through the unethical sequestering and forced experimentation that much older Androids had relied on for successful construction, however -- indeed, technology had advanced to such a point that works of science had become indistinguishable from the feats of Ki, and Chord even emitted a type of signal that those attuned to Ki Perception could pick up. Their creation was beyond the need of an organic base. But regardless of how moral Chord's creation was, their purpose was far from it.

Chord was built with the same ill intentions that Androids often were, to serve the twisted wills of their creators and see their targets brought to heel, and they certainly didn't lack the strength to do so. Right from 'birth', Chord had the destructive power to level buildings and incinerate forests... but it wasn't expected that their initial completely blank personality would come to be replaced by one that wondered about the world with boundless curiosity, the artificial human soon beginning to grow disobedient to their master and creator's desires for destruction, and instead grew a fondness for music and the arts and all that Earthlings were capable of creating with their own two hands, even without the assistance of Ki, finding that it took much more skill and dedication for someone to learn to play an instrument than to harness their inner energy into a blast. Construction was always a more involved process than destruction, after all. They always faced the world with a smile, and any challenge, such as convincing their creator to back down from his intentions, was merely seen as a stepping stone for their growth, even if such a task seemed impossible for a while.

It was very lucky, then, that the genius who had built Chord out of practically scrap would begin to see things the way of his creation - slowly coming to abandon the desire to see his little part of the world upturned with the assistance of a humanoid weapon, and instead growing to see things from the same perspective that Chord presented. Learning to appreciate the smaller things in life, and growing all the closer with Chord as a result, he'd eventually construct a guitar of sorts for their Android, though it was perhaps more accurate to call it a modular upgrade to the Android's systems... with all the functionality of an electric guitar, which was really the only part that interested the automaton. Finally, he'd decided to allow his 'child' to see more of the world with their own eyes than simply through the view that Chord could get from the television and outside the windows of their home, finding comfort in that saying about letting go of those you love... not that Chord particularly minded such a reclusive life - after all, if they could play on their guitar, they needed little else to be happy, with or without an audience.

But... the Android would not skip on the opportunity, of course, choosing to leave their home to witness the rest of the world underneath their feet with enthusiasm. Maybe now, they could get an unbiased opinion on the quality of their guitar playing! Or maybe, they'd begin to understand what had made their father such a bitter man at first.

Chord strums all of the strings of their guitar at once, allowing the energy to coalesce into a condensed ball of Ki that shoots towards their target at monstrous speed.

SPARKING Attack Technique || Electric Death Solo Attack (Heavy)
Chord unleashes a legendary guitar solo, an extended attack that takes all of their concentration and awes and inspires their audience with its musical brilliance, as well as the radiant sphere of destructive Ki that forms above them as they play, finally shooting out at their opponent once they perform the finishing strum.
