Amidst the condemned duo's forced dance to the death, the ground began to subtly shake beneath the party's feet. Starting as a low tremor, the shaking eventually began to grow exponentially, increasing to earthquake-like proportions as the laboratory seemed ready to collapse completely underneath its weight. Outside, the chaos would continue to culminate- the sky beginning to brighten as the screeching of something entering the planet's atmosphere quickly began to fill the originally silent airspace.
Breaking through from the depths of the clouds floating high above the base where Yangcong's experiment was being held, a singular, shoddy looking space pod came crashing directly into the ground below. The ship itself landing with such impact that it tore through the initial layer of dirt that covered the carefully packed stone and debris that maintained the upper ceiling separating the underground lab from the outside surface.
The door of the pod being promptly kicked off, flying out into the woods that lined the area as the simmering Saiyan that laid within soon stepped out into the crater that his entry landing created. Glaring gaze narrowing at the ground beneath him, the young man's eyes seemed to burn with coursing, electric blue Ki- that same energy enveloping his clenched left fist as it slammed directly into the surface below him, breaking through the very ceiling of the portion of the laboratory that he stood upon.
Dion's patience was running very thin. While he normally wasn't opposed to the idea of a visit back to his former home, he didn't mean for it to be on such strained pretenses. Soon following their heartfelt first encounter, Dion didn't feel comfortable with letting Aspara- er, Kronos, out of his sight so easily, which is exactly why the young man gifted him something before the two parted ways. That being a phone of his own to use, for contacting either him or whoever would eventually become a part of his "Teens of Tomorrow". The phone itself had a various number of perks, one of the hidden ones being its ability to keep tabs on Kronos' status and relay such information to his own personal phone at the click of a button.
Today, while on break during his shift at Diono's, the bartender decided to check in on the young boy's status- only to be greeted by the sight of his vitals being in absolute disarray.
Wasting no further time, Dion took one of Amara's old space pods that they kept within her workshop space in the house, blasting off at top speed- using some experimental fuel in order to cut the travel time by exponential amounts. If Kronos was in danger like he believed him to be, time was of the essence, and so he was prepared to take every short cut possible to be there for him as soon as possible.
He wouldn't let himself be another failure Kronos would look to the past to in anger.
Fist meeting steel, Dion tore through the laboratory's outer shell like it was made of cardboard- falling into one of the various hallways with a frighteningly calm look upon his face. Various alarms blared throughout the corridors as he could hear the footsteps of dozens upon dozens of guards begin to make their way to his position.
Unfortunately for them, the young man was in no mood to be holding back.
While still against the use of lethal force in every and any form of confrontation, that didn't mean Dion had to hold back when someone else's life was on the line. Guards of varying strengths and skill all converged upon the young man, but it didn't really matter what stood in his path- they added to the trail of unconscious bodies behind him all the same.
The only sound that would remain echoing throughout the hallways of the underground laboratory would be the sound of Dion's footsteps signifying his approach to the room that contained the remaining three people of interest within the facility. Blood pounding in the young man's ears as his power continued to grow exponentially with every passing moment.
"It's gonna be alright, Kronos..."
His aura suddenly exploded all around him in an awesome flame of blues of varying different hues. The doors to the room that held Kronos, Yangcong, and Prim coming closer and closer to his gaze with each second passed.
"... I am here."
