That feeling of sudden dread washed over her as she took Chomei through that portal. A wash of orange bathing over the two as they were launched directly from their little escapade under the mountains to the streets of Central City. The cries of people rise above any of the mundane traffic that surely started halting as smoke and energy was tossed around moments after she touched down. Worse than that, several massive powers showed themselves surrounding the epicenter of the hordes. Past the millions, with one massive outlier forcing a familiar anger out of her. Hodl it back. Not yet. She had to steady herself, staring at the oncoming shambling zombies pouring out from those few powers standing at street level with her.
These souls had been extinguished. Replaced with some miasma that puppeteered them in a facsimile of human movement. It made her heart sink.
But she was not the only one here to stop this. Blue and Steel were on the scene. The former reached even further heights as a Super Saiyan, something that nearly matched Lottus as he reveled at the idea of destruction for the sake of it. There was hope in that alone. There was another one she wasn't as familiar with but seemed to be dealing with the undead more directly. Russ seemed to know them. Well, they were their best hopes at the moment. Seeing as none of the others were quite to super saiyan levels. Jackie shot Chomei a quick look before breaking from him, gathering fire around herself to amplify the spiritual energy she gave off. The motes were hardly as strong as her previous fury.
"Go help Steel with the others. I'm gonna aid the Super Saiyan fight with the undead out on the street."
She delegated herself to support. Maybe as a way to draw attention away from their heavy hitters and away from the civilians who were getting swallowed whole by the mist. Given the call to action she just gave Chomei, she split off to hop into place right next to Gira who was mighty furious herself. Tended to happen with super saiyans, she noticed. Ironic thought coming from Miss Hot Head here, but she needed to make sure this girl was focused. She would be the first of many to receive thoughts in the back of her mind not her own. A feminine voice of guidance radiated in her mind as Jackie took up a defensive fighting stance next to her. Eyeing her silently as she spoke with her mind to Gira.
"Russ seems to know you. Name's Jackie, I gotta be quick with this. We need to attack the source before more people are lost to the smoke. The swordsman slaughtering us needs to be dealt with, now! I'll help where I can."
The Earthling was weaker, but fear was long since an emotion she got over when the immense threats she faced seemed so commonplace now. Both of these soulless husks were almost twice her strength alone, so her hopes of distracting one for long were the best she could give. She'd send out another message, this time to Russ who turned gold and went to intercept Lottus with whatever he was getting ready to launch down at the unsuspecting.
"Hey Blue. I'm sure ya know the drill. You're going to have to keep Lottus occupied, you're the only one who can match him right now. No doubt he'll try forcing you into the defensive by attacking those weaker; Keep on your toes. Remember our training."
How level-headed of her. It was about all she could do to not tear her hair out right about now from stress, as daunting as this all was. To now everyone brave enough to take some visible stance against their invaders, they'd all receive the same message. So Chomei, Steel, Gira, Russ, Reigun, Moire, Garon, and the few freedom fighters nondescript enough to not feature a player behind them, and these thoughts press into their mind as she focuses.
"Everyone! This is Earth's guardian. Priority is making sure people stop dyin'. Set pride aside if you carry it and team up on the enemy if need be. Fall back to helping the people if you are pushed or unconfident. Keep each other safe."
She doesn't know if any of the big players would listen, but the few on the street level at least shifted focus away from anything but the zombies. Rather weak by most standards, they could at least take the undead in spurts. It'd help to hold back the tides as everyone else held themselves. The enemy would not get such a nice greeting. Under the presumption they would not listen to her anyways, she prepared her allies mentally and gave them this advice beforehand. No doubt they'd need all this anyway.
"People of Central City! Please evacuate! This is a city-level emergency!"
She threw her voice to the skies, for everyone to hear. In that same vein, she'd turn to look up and around at the few strong enemies that made themselves known through presence alone. Lottus, for instance.
"As for the rest of you losers, the first few invaders' chances to back off unharmed ended when they killed and used our friends and family against us. Anyone who hasn't raised a finger yet to our home can still walk away if they want! This is your only warning!"
She wanted so badly for words to get across to some people. But such things didn't reach everyone. That's where Jackie's fury would no doubt rise again. For it was the only thing she could rely on to beat sense into the evil and damned. Lastly, to Moire specifically, her thoughts lowered back into her mind. The majin probably felt this before when they talked across the planet. Telepathy, again.
"Stay safe. Alright?"
Jackie didn't pick up on some subtleties, like Yogu's possession or the mix-up that the merc group had with a familiar shinjin, Vale, but she was sure time would come to unfold those mysteries as people more familiar with them would tell her. Anyone else hiding away, ally or not, were less of a concern as the big four right now. Three undead, including Lottus, and a foolhearty pirate. Things were bound to get messy quick.
